Congratulations to Ryan & Megan (Gerrits)
Leick who were married on May 18, 2019.
What is the one by One capital campaign?
We are called one by one to a life of missionary discipleship
to share our faith with those who need to hear and see it most.
The one by One capital campaign will raise funds to strength-
en and ensure the future our parishes, enhance Catholic
education, broaden social services programs and living justice
ministries, care for our seminarians and help parishes address
critical needs. This campaign will empower each of us to
transform our communities as missionary disciples – as we
share the healing, teaching and loving presence of Jesus where
we live, work and pray.
To make your gift today contact the Parish Office, call Josh
Diedrich toll-free at 877-500-3580, ext. 8197 or visit the
one by One website @ one.catholicfoundationgb.org.
St. Clare Parish Offices will be
closed Monday, May 27th,
in observance of the
Memorial Day Holiday.
Regular office hours will resume at 8:00am
on Tuesday, May 28th.
Have a safe and blessed Memorial Day Weekend!!

SCHOOL NEWS, DISCIPLESHIP FORMATION, YOUTH MINISTRY
St Clare School News
It’s not too late to join St. Clare Catholic School! Please contact the school office or principal, Lisa
Gruber, if you would like a tour and information on our wonderful school! (920)-532-4833 or
lgruber@stclareagw.org.
Here are some of the aspects of our school that make it special:
• A dedicated staff and faculty that love what they do and try their best to make our school a safe
and loving environment.
• Staff and faculty that work together and collaborate to have a school that runs smoothly and meets the needs of the
students.
• Students who wait for younger ones who may need help getting off the bus.
• An environment that is peaceful. This is evident when walking around the building during classes, passing time
between classes, lunch and recess.
• Students who show creativity, cooperation, team building, engineering skills and leadership while working on snow
forts during recess (and many other tasks).
• Families dedicated to their Catholic faith through witness, sacrament preparation, service and Mass attendance.
Faith. Family. Future.

God of power

down earthly pride.

Keep in your mercy

PARISH/COMMUNITY EVENTS
Bishop’s Appeal—Impacting the Lives of Children
Did you know within our diocese more than 9,000 children
participate in Catholic schools, and nearly 18,000 in Religious
Education classes? Or that more than 700 attended Camp
Tekakwitha last summer?
The future of our Church needs young people to be alive in
their faith today. Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal allows
students involved in Catholic schools, religious education and
youth ministry to draw closer to Christ and to each other on a
regular basis. Young people founded in Catholic education are
the future of our Church and good citizens in our communities.
Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal makes a difference in the
Catholic education of children across our
16-county diocese.
Our 2019 Bishop’s Appeal Parish goal is $66,275.00.
After sixteen weeks we are at 86% of our Goal!
To make a contribution:
1) contact the Parish Office at 864-2550 for
additional contribution forms,
2) visit the Bishop’s Appeal website at
www.catholicfoundationgb.org/give,
3) call Tammy toll-free at 877-500-3580, ext.
8123,
4) give through Online Giving by clicking the tab on the Parish
website and choosing the Bishop’s Appeal Fund.
Your contribution to help reach this year’s goal is both
appreciated & essential! Thank you!
St. Clare’s Care Ministry is a bridge to those seeking
to connect the compassion of Jesus to those in need.
Call the Parish Office for more information.
May 20, 2019
As the school year comes to a close, we would like to share with you the results of a recent survey that was conducted for
St. Clare School. The majority of the respondents were parents. Over 2/3 of the parents had a favorable opinion of the
school and would recommend the school to other families. Parents felt the school provided a safe and caring environment
and that the faculty was committed to the success of the students. Parents recommended that the school needs to provide
better communication to both parents and the parish. They also recommended there should be more electives for students.
Lisa Gruber and Father Brian have been reviewing the survey data and are actively working on a detailed communications
plan for 2019-2020 to better serve the needs of the school families and parish. In addition, the school has 9 students partici-
pating in the Wisconsin Choice Voucher Program this year, which will bring in approximately $67,000 in revenue to use to
help grow the staff and curriculum at the school. The Diocese congratulates the entire school and parish community on
building a strong base to effectively manage change and look forward to continuing to help foster discipleship at St. Clare.
If you have any questions about the survey results, please feel free to contact Lori Paul at the Diocese of Green Bay at
920-277-8163. We wish you a blessed and safe summer!
