Boiler Inspection
Purpose: Inspect for issues with boiler that would cause a performance issue within the next 8 years
What I did: Inspect and write up punch lists Outcomes: Issues found and prioritize to be
fixed for this outage or the next
9
Chemical Clean
Purpose: remove iron in boiler done every 10-15 years
Chemicals from HydroChem 4% Hydroxyacetic acid 2% Formic Acid
My scope of work Revision of Procedure Time of Chemical Clean: tell operators when
to open and close valves

Without the Analyzers
High possibility that ions will slip through the exhausted resin
Causes damage to turbine
