• Los pacientes con cáncer de mama metastásico HER2 + actualmente presentan un pronóstico comparable a las pacientes HER2 negativas.
¿Qué hemos Aprendido?
• ~25% de las pacientes tratadas con Trastuzumab adyuvante pueden recaer en 5 años1
• La mayoria de pacientes con cáncer de mama avanzado Her2+ tratadas con quimioterapia y Trastuzumab pueden progresar en 18 meses2
• Un porcentaje de pacientes (con tratamiento en cáncer de mama metastásico ó en neoadyuvancia) pueden no alcanzar una respuesta3,4

QT más trastuzumab
Trastuzumab es eficaz en combinación con múltiples
agentes de QT (paclitaxel, docetaxel, VNR,
capecitabina).
-La comparación entre los distintos ensayos sugiere

similar, y que añadir trastuzumab a la QT mejora la
supervivencia.

CONCLUSIONES
• El pronóstico de los pacientes con cáncer de mama Her2 + ha mejorado de manera significativa en las últimas dos décadas.
• Las nuevas drogas diana están mejorando la supervivencia y reduciendo la toxicidad en pacientes con cáncer de mama avanzado.
