CITOQUINAS
SON GLICOPROTEINAS, PUEDEN SER SOLUBLES, INTRACELULARES O ASOCIADAS A MEMBRANA CELULAR, SON PRODUCIDAS PRINCIPALMENTE POR CELULAS DEL SISTEMA INMUNE, CONFORMANDO UNA RED DE COMUNICACIÓN.

Model A
Model B
In model A the Th presursors leading to Th1 and Th2 cells are the same cell. In model B the precursors are pre-determined to be either Th1 - or Th2 cells. Both models contain two APC’s, which could also be drawn as a single APC delivering differentsignals depending on the physical nature of the antigen. (APC = Antigen Presenting Cell).
