INTRODUCCIÓN
Un problema con valor inicial consistes en una ecuación diferencial y de un punto en el plano 𝑥, 𝑦 :
𝑑𝑦
𝑑𝑥= 𝑓 𝑥, 𝑦 𝑠𝑢𝑗𝑒𝑡𝑜 𝑎 𝑦 𝑥0 = 𝑦0
El teorema consiste en encontrar una función y = f(x) solución a la ecuación diferencial y que además cumpla𝑦 𝑥0 = 𝑦0, es decir que al evaluar dicha función en 𝑥 = 𝑥0 el valor resultante sea 𝑦0.
Generalmente este problema se resuelve primero encontrando la solución general en donde aparece “C”arbitraria y posteriormente se sustituyen los datos del punto 𝑥0, 𝑦0 para determinar el valor de “C”.

EJEMPLO:𝑑𝑦
𝑑𝑥= −
2𝑥
𝑦
SOLUCIÓN:𝑑𝑦
𝑑𝑥= −
2𝑥
𝑦𝑦 𝑑𝑦 = −2𝑥 𝑑𝑥
𝑦 𝑑𝑦 = − 2𝑥 𝑑𝑥
𝑦2
2= −𝑥2 + 𝐶
𝑦 = −2𝑥2 + 𝐶

Esta es una solución general explícita. Ahora aplicando una valor inicial, 𝑦 1 = 1, esdecir, 𝑥0 = 1, 𝑦0 = 1:
𝑦 = −2𝑥2 + 𝐶
1 = −2 1 2 + 𝐶
1 = −2 + 𝐶
𝐶 = 3
Regresando y sustituyendo:
𝑦 = −2𝑥2 + 𝐶
∴ 𝑦 = −2𝑥2 + 3REGRESAR AL CONTENIDO
EJEMPLO 2
EJEMPLO:𝑦′ = 4 − 9𝑥2 − 6𝑥5 𝑐𝑢𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑜 𝑦 1 = 2
SOLUCIÓN:
Recordando que 𝑦′ =𝑑𝑦
𝑑𝑥𝑦′ = 4 − 9𝑥2 − 6𝑥5
𝑑𝑦
𝑑𝑥= 4 − 9𝑥2 − 6𝑥5
Aplicando el método de separación de variables:𝑑𝑦
𝑑𝑥= 4 − 9𝑥2 − 6𝑥5
𝑑𝑦 = 4 − 9𝑥2 − 6𝑥5 𝑑𝑥
REGRESAR AL CONTENIDO
Realizando la integración:𝑑𝑦 = 4 − 9𝑥2 − 6𝑥5 𝑑𝑥
𝑑𝑦 = 4 − 9𝑥2 − 6𝑥5 𝑑𝑥
𝑑𝑦 = 4 𝑑𝑥 − 9 𝑥2 𝑑𝑥 − 6 𝑥5 𝑑𝑥
Recordando que:
1) 𝑑𝑣 = 𝑣 + 𝐶
2) 𝑣𝑛 𝑑𝑣 =𝑣𝑛+1
𝑛 + 1+ 𝐶
Entonces:
𝑑𝑦 = 4 𝑑𝑥 − 9 𝑥2 𝑑𝑥 − 6 𝑥5 𝑑𝑥
𝑦 = 4 𝑥 − 9𝑥3
3− 6
𝑥6
6+ 𝐶
∴ 𝑦 = 4𝑥 − 3𝑥3 − 𝑥6 + 𝐶 REGRESAR AL CONTENIDO
Utilizando la condición inicial 𝑦 1 = 1, 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑒 𝑥0 = 1 , 𝑦0 = 2
𝑦 = 4𝑥 − 3𝑥3 − 𝑥6 + 𝐶
2 = 4 1 − 3 1 3 − 1 6 + 𝐶
2 = 4 − 3 − 1 + 𝐶
𝐶 = 2
Regresando y sustituyendo el valor de la constante de integración C:
𝑦 = 4𝑥 − 3𝑥3 − 𝑥6 + 𝐶
∴ 𝑦 = 4𝑥 − 3𝑥3 − 𝑥6 + 2
