INCOTERMS (INTERNATIONAL COMERCIAL TERMS)Son reglas internacionales para lainterpretación de los términoscomerciales, creadas por la cámara decomercio internacional (CCI), a partirde 1936.

Los INCOTERMS son de aceptaciónvoluntaria por las partes, es decir, noson bajo ningún concepto, unesquema jurídico obligatorio. Seestablecieron 11 denominaciones oINCOTERMS diferentes. Se agruparonen dos clases: Multimodales yMarítimos.

MULTIMODALES

Pueden usarse para cualquier medio de transporte, sea aéreo, terrestre o marítimo.

Son:

- EXW (Ex Works) - DAP (Delivered at Place)

- FCA (Free Carrier to) - DAT (Delivered at Terminal)

- CPT (Carriage faid to) - DDP (Delivered DutiesPaid)

- CIP (Carriage Insurance Paid to)

MARÍTIMOS

De uso exclusivo para transporte marítimo

Son:

- CFR ( Cost and Freight)

- CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight)

- FAS ( Free Alongside Ship)

- FOB ( Free on Board)
