¿Qué se puede hacer para Riesgos?
1- Evaluación cuidadosa de la mácula antes de indicar cirugía de catarata.
2- En pacientes con factores de riesgoinidicar cirugía solo a aquellos en los que la catarata produce significativa disminuc. de Agudeza Visual.

La AAO sugiere que:
• Pac. con MNV en un ojo y drussens en el otro, disminuría el riesgo DMRE 25 %.
• 6- Controles postqx. periódicos y signos de alarma.
