El Fedra encalló la noche del 10-10-2008 en Punta Europa. El barco, de 35.000 toneladas y 200 metros de eslora, perdió el ancla el viernes por la mañana y, tras permanecer a la deriva, encalló por la noche finalmente en Punta Europa.
