Entendiendo el Torque-al-Punto-de-Quiebre de los pernosde culataLos pernos para culata T-T-Y son comunes particularmente en motores conculatas de aluminio y/o con juntas de mltiples laminas de acero. Estospernos estn diseados para estirarse dentro de una zona controlada dequiebre. CONSEJOS DE INSTALACIN DE JUNTAS PARA CULATARemueva las Culatas de Cilindro CuidadosamenteAfloje los pernos de la culata de cilindros en etapas, en orden inverso a la secuenciade armado. Busqueuna ondulacin preferida de altura de 0004/ .0005 con espacio entre los picos deondulacin de 100 (stos son valores normalmente asociados con las mquinasde rectificacin) . Siempre consulte el manual de servicio de su fabricante para losrequerimientos en el acabado de superficies.7 15. CONSEJOS DE INSTALACIN DE JUNTAS PARA CULATAUse sellador para juntas que no endurezcaNo se requieren selladores en las juntas para culata FEL-PRO PermaTorque.Sin embargo, las juntas de lminas de acero repujado, de cubierta de cobre, ode cubierta de acero deben recubrirse con sellador automotriz de juntas que noendurezca como un sello complementario.Cubra ligeramente las roscas de los pernos y debajo de las cabezas de los pernoscon grasa EP o algn lubricante similar.Cuando estos entran en los pasos de aguade un motor, las roscas de los pernos se deben recubrir con un sellador automotrizque no endurezca para prevenir las fugas,.
