NEBRASKA

El paso del tiempo ha hecho que las vetas apenas se apre-cien, contrarrestando a los marcados nudos que se refle-jan en el modelo Nebraska. Bajo el significado de ‘agua plana’ su nombre hace referencia al río Platte que atravie-sa el estado de los Estados Unidos de América y sus tona-lidades rinden homenaje a la madera más antigua. Su gama de colores y su línea convierten a cualquier espacio en una estancia cálida como las temperaturas veraniegas de este estado donde la producción de cereal y la ganadería han sido los protagonistas para su desarrollo.

The passing of time has made the graining practically imperceptible, forming an attractive contrast for the eye-cat-ching knots featured in the Nebraska model. Meaning ‘flat water’, the name refers to the Platte River that crosses this US state and whose subtle shades pay tribute to the most ancient wood. The colour scheme and small formats will bring warmth to any space, echoing the glorious summer temperatures of this state where cereal production and cattle breeding have played a key role in its development.

One of the 50 states that make up the United States of America, where temperatures plunge below freezing in winter and soar in the long hot summer months, and lakes and forests abound. Starwood has travelled here in search of inspiration for its most neutral model, fea-turing subtle graining that immediately evokes nature in its purest state. Indeed, its forests are home to many of the trees we study during our product creation phase in order to adapt to the rapidly-changing weather conditions and offer eternal crafts that will last for ever.
