A common use of the imperfect subjunctive is to make polite requests or statements. In such cases, the forms of the verbs querer, poder, and deber are used. Note the following examples.
Debiéramos ir al concurso. We should go to the game show.
13-17 Quisiera pedirte un favor. Usen el imperfecto de subjuntivo de querer, poder y deber para pedirse tres favores. Respondan de una manera apropiada. E1: Quisiera pedirte un favor. Mañana tengo
