Instrucciones de seguridad
Acerca de las presentes instruccionesAntes de la puesta en marcha del aparato, lea atentamente las presentes instrucciones. Preste atención a las advertencias que aparecen en el propio aparato y en las instrucciones de funcionamiento.
Mantenga siempre a su alcance las instrucciones de funcionamiento. Si vende o cede el aparato a otra persona, entréguele sin falta también las presentes instrucciones y el certificado de garantía.
No permita que los niños toquen aparatos eléctricos Los niños desconocen los peligros que pueden surgir del uso de aparatos eléctricos. No deje que los niños usen los aparatos eléctricos sin vigilancia.
Las baterías pueden representar un peligro de muerte si se tragan. Mantenga por ello el terminal portátil y las pilas fuera del alcance de los niños pequeños. En caso de ingestión accidental de una batería, hay que avisar inmediatamente a un médico.
Mantenga también el embalaje y los plásticos de protección de la pantalla alejados de los niños. Existe el peligro de asfixia.
Zonas con riesgo de explosión No emplee nunca el terminal móvil en un entorno con riesgo de explosión, p. ej. en un taller de pintura, o si se emite gas en el entorno.

Coloque el aparato de forma segura Coloque la estación base sobre una superficie firme y lisa.
Coloque la estación base de modo que quede protegida contra caídas.
La estación base y el terminal móvil no deben estar expuestos a fuentes directas de calor (p.ej. la calefacción).
Los aparatos no deben exponerse a la luz solar directa.
El contacto con humedad, agua o salpicaduras debe ser evitado.
El aparato no está diseñado para funcionar en espacios con un alto nivel de humedad (p. ej. el cuarto de baño).
No coloque la estación base junto a otros aparatos eléctricos (p.ej. el televisor o el microondas).
No coloque la estación base en las inmediaciones de fuentes de fuego (p.ej. velas encendidas).
Si el aparato es trasladado de un lugar frío a un lugar caliente, espere un rato antes de conectarlo a la red. El agua condensada que se forma podría dañar el aparato. Cuando el aparato haya alcanzado la temperatura ambiental, se lo podrá poner en funcionamiento sin ningún peligro.
Adaptador de red Utilice solamente el adaptador de red suministrado para la estación base. Usar el adaptador de red solamente en espacios secos.

Conexión a la red Conecte la estación base en una toma de corriente bien accesible (230 V ~ 50 Hz) y cercana al emplazamiento del equipo. La toma de corriente debe estar bien accesible para poder desenchufar el equipo sin problemas.
Tire del adaptador tomándolo por el enchufe, en lugar de tirar del cable.
No doble o aplaste el cable de red.
No coloque nunca el terminal móvil sin la tapa del compartimento de pilas en la estación base.
Tormenta/periodos sin uso En caso de ausencia prolongada o de tormenta, desconecte de la estación base el cable del teléfono y desenchúfelo.
Si no se utiliza durante un tiempo prolongado retire sin falta las baterías del terminal móvil para evitar que las baterías derramen líquidos tóxicos. Las baterías que han derramado líquidos pueden dañar el terminal móvil.
Manejo seguro de las baterías Para el terminal móvil se necesita dos baterías. Para ello, observe las siguientes indicaciones:
Mantenga las baterías alejadas de los niños. Si alguien se traga una batería acuda inmediatamente a un médico.
No arroje las baterías al fuego, no las cortocircuite y no las desmonte.
Al colocar las baterías tenga en cuenta la polaridad (+/–) para evitar cortocircuitos.

No deben mezclarse baterías nuevas y viejas o baterías de diferentes tipos. Esto podría provocar daños en su aparato y causar fallos de funcionamiento. Además, la batería más débil se descargaría demasiado.
Cambie siempre las dos baterías al mismo tiempo.
¡Retire inmediatamente del aparato las baterías gastadas! ¡Existe un alto peligro de derrame!
Nunca exponga las baterías a un calor excesivo como radiación solar, fuego o similares. No coloque el aparato, por ejemplo, sobre un radiador. ¡Existe un alto peligro de derrame!
Evite golpes fuertes y sacudidas.
Retire inmediatamente del aparato la batería si ésta derrama líquido. Limpie los contactos antes de introducir una batería nueva. ¡Existe peligro de causticación por el ácido de las pilas!
No deforme o desmonte las baterías. Se podrían lesionar sus manos o dedos.
¡En caso de que se hubiera derramado ácido de la pila, evite en todo caso que el líquido entre en contacto con la piel, los ojos y las mucosas! El líquido que sale de las baterías puede causar erupción cutánea. Si el ácido hubiera entrado en contacto con la piel, enjuague inmediatamente las zonas afectadas con abundante agua limpia y acuda a un médico sin demora.
Si no utiliza el aparato durante un largo tiempo, retire la batería.
Aísle los contactos de las baterías con una cinta adhesiva si desea guardarlas o eliminarlas.

No haga nunca reparaciones por su cuenta En caso de haber desperfectos en el adaptador de red, en el cable de conexión o en la estación base, desenchúfelo inmediatamente.
No intente en ningún caso abrir y/o arreglar Usted mismo el aparato. Existe el peligro de recibir una descarga eléctrica. En caso de mal funcionamiento del aparato, diríjase al Medion Service Center o a otro taller especializado.
Cuando el cable de conexión de este aparato está dañado, se deberá eliminar el adaptador de red y sustituirlo por uno del mismo tipo para evitar accidentes. En este caso diríjase al Medion Service Center.

Preparación
Colocación Coloque la estación base sobre una superficie firme y lisa.
Algunos barnices agresivos pueden dañar los pies de goma de la estación base. En caso necesario, coloque la estación base sobre un soporte.
Coloque la estación base a una altura de trabajo práctica y asegúrela contra caídas.
Coloque la estación base y la estación de carga cerca de un enchufe y de una toma de conexión telefónica.
Evite el contacto del aparato con humedad o líquidos.
No coloque la estación base en las inmediaciones de otros aparatos eléctricos (p. ej. televisores).

Colocación de las baterías en el terminal móvil Para el terminal portátil se suministran dos baterías de hidruro metal de níquel “AAA” 600 mAh.
¡Atención!Utilice en los terminales móviles sólo baterías de hidruro de metal de níquel del tipo suministrado NiMH; 1,2V; 600 mAh).
La garantía del aparato pierde su validez si se introducen otras baterías. Los terminales móviles podrían dañarse.
Empuje hacia abajo la tapa del compartimento para las baterías en la parte trasera del terminal móvil.
Coloque las dos baterías en el compartimento, teniendo en cuenta su respectiva polaridad (+/–), (el polo negativo debe estar en contacto con el muelle).
Vuelva a colocar la tapa del compartimento de las pilas.

Conectar el adaptador de red a la estación base
¡Atención!Para la conexión de estación base utilice solamente el adaptador de red suministrado, nº de modelo: S005CV0600060. En el adaptador de red se encuentra una placa de características con las indicaciones correspondientes.
Conecte la clavija del cable del adaptador de red con la toma derecha de la estación base.
Asegure la clavija para que no se caiga, pasando el cable por detrás de la fijación del cable.
Conecte el enchufe del adaptador de red a un enchufe de fácil acceso.
Se conecta el contestador automático.

Cargar la batería
Indicaciones importantes para la carga de baterías / primer funcionamiento Conecte la estación base a la red telefónica solamente cuando el terminal móvil se ha cargado completamente. En caso contrario, la batería no llegará a su rendimiento completo.
El tiempo de carga del primero funcionamiento es de aprox. 20 horas.
No interrumpa el proceso de carga porque, de hacerlo, puede reducir el rendimiento de la batería permanentemente.
Mientras la batería se recarga, no realice ninguna llamada telefónica con el terminal móvil.
Las baterías alcanzan el mejor rendimiento cuando al principio (durante aprox. una semana) se descargan y se vuelvan a cargar completamente varias veces. Por eso, deje el terminal portátil fuera de la estación base para que se descargue. Después, los demás procesos de carga tardarán aprox. 6 a 8 horas.
No coloque nunca el terminal portátil sin la tapa del compartimento de pilas en la estación base.
Puede dejar constantemente el terminal móvil en la estación base o de carga. Así garantiza usted que se mantenga el nivel de carga máximo.
La capacidad de las baterías alcanza para 10 horas en conversación o 100 horas en espera. A continuación se deben volver a cargar las baterías.

Cargar la batería en la estación base Coloque el terminal móvil en el cargador de la estación base y deje
que la batería se recargue.
Una señal acústica avisa de que el terminal móvil está correctamente colocado en el cargador.

cargando la batería. Los campos indican el estado de carga: Baterías casi descargadas, baterías cargadas.

Conexión de la estación base a la red telefónica
¡ATENCIÓN! Conecte la estación base a la red telefónica solamente cuando el terminal móvil se ha cargado completamente. En caso contrario, la batería no llegará a su rendimiento completo.
Conecte la clavija modular del cable telefónico en la toma izquierda que hay en la parte trasera de la estación base.
Introduzca la otra clavija del cable telefónico en la toma telefónica que
hay en la pared.

La pantalla Idioma de la pantalla En la configuración original el idioma de la pantalla es el alemán. También se puede ajustar el idioma de la pantalla en español, inglés o portugués; véase pagina 61.
Indicador de pilas El símbolo para la batería está dividido en cuatro campos. Indican el estado de carga correspondiente de la batería (lleno, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 y vacío).
Si la batería está descargada o casi descargada parpadea el indicador de batería y se debe colocar el terminal portátil en la estación base para que se pueda cargar la batería.
Cuando la carga de la batería está terminando, además se oirá una señal cada 60 segundos. Se puede desactivar esta señal acústica (véase pagina 59).
Indicación de la cobertura Si el terminal portátil se encuentra fuera de cobertura o si no está registrado, en la pantalla aparecerá el aviso “Buscando”.

Primeros ajustes
Idioma Si se desea ajustar otro idioma (preajuste: Español), rogamos que lea la página 61.
Fecha y hora La fecha y la hora son necesarias para que el contestador automático pueda memorizar correctamente los mensajes.
Así se ajusta la fecha y la hora:
Pulse MENU.
Desplácese pulsando repetidas veces la tecla – (en el lateral del aparato) al menú “Ajustes” y pulse MENU.
Aparecerá la entrada “Ajustes TM”. Desplácese pulsando repetidas veces la tecla – al punto de menú “Hora/Fecha” y pulse MENU.
Aparecerá la entrada “Formato de indicación horaria”. Pulse MENU.
Seleccione con +/– el formato de 24 horas o el formato de 12 horas2.
Pulse MENU. Se memoriza el formato.
Pulse –. Aparece la entrada “Formato fecha”.
Pulse MENU. Seleccione con +/– el formato DD/MM (día delante de mes) o MM/DD (mes delante de día).
Pulse MENU. Se memoriza el formato.
Pulse –. Aparece la entrada “Introducir hora”. 2Cuando se selecciona el formato de 12 horas, detrás de la hora aparecerá a.m. para las horas de la mañana y p.m. para las horas de la tarde.

Pulse MENU. Aparecen los campos para la hora.
Introduzca con las teclas numéricas la hora actual. Si se ha equivocado tecleando, utilice la tecla BACK para volver al paso 10. (“Introd fecha“). – Si se ha seleccionado el formato de 12 horas, se puede seleccionar entre a.m. y p.m. pulsando la tecla de almohadilla # .
Pulse MENU. Se memoriza la hora.
Pulse –. Aparece la entrada “Introd fecha”.
Pulse MENU. Aparecen los campos para la fecha.
Introduzca con las teclas numéricas la fecha actual. – Si se ha equivocado tecleando, utilice la tecla BACK para volver al paso 14. (“Introd fecha“).
Pulse MENU. Se memoriza la fecha.
Pulse la tecla auricular o espere 30 segundos para que aparezca la pantalla inicial con la hora.

Funciones generales
Encender y apagar el terminal móvil Para desconectar el terminal portátil se debe retirarlo de la estación
base.
Mantenga pulsado la tecla auricular durante unos segundos. En la pantalla aparecerá “¿Apagar?”.
Confirme con MENU. Se apagará la pantalla.
Para volver a encender el terminal portátil, pulse brevemente la tecla auricular . Un momento más tarde vuelven a aparecer las indicaciones estándar en la pantalla.
También se puede conectar el terminal móvil, volviendo a colocarlo en la estación base.
Bloqueo de las teclas Para evitar que se marque un número accidentalmente al llevar el terminal móvil consigo, puede activar el bloqueo de teclado. Esto no es posible durante una conversación.
Mantenga pulsada la tecla de almohadilla # , hasta que en la pantalla aparezca la entrada “Tecl bloqueado”.
Cuando el bloqueo de teclas está activado se pueden seguir utilizando los números de emergencia 110 y 112.
También se puede seguir aceptando llamadas.
Para volver a desactivar el bloqueo de teclas, vuelva a mantener pulsada la tecla de almohadilla #, hasta que en la pantalla aparezca “Tecl desbloquead”.

Llamar al portátil Si desea llamar al terminal móvil o si desea buscarlo, pulse la tecla de
llamada de la estación base.
En los terminales portátiles se activa una señal de llamada y aparece la indicación “Buscando TM”.
Interrumpa la señal de llamada con la tecla de auricular .

Efectuar llamadas
Aceptar llamadas Al entrar una llamada, se oye el timbre. En la pantalla aparecerá bien “Llamada externa” o el número de teléfono del abonado que llama o el nombre, siempre y cuando el nombre con este número esté memorizado en el listín telefónico.
Además parpadea el LED de teléfono de la estación base.
ADVERTENCIA: Estas indicaciones del número pueden variar o no estar disponibles según la compañía telefónica y el tipo de conexión que tenga.
Para aceptar una llamada cuando el terminal móvil está en el cargador, siga los siguientes pasos:
Retire el terminal portátil del cargador o pulse la tecla de llamada , para conmutar el teléfono al modo de manos libres.
Para aceptar la llamada cuando el terminal portátil no se encuentre en el cargador, pulse la tecla de llamada .
ADVERTENCIA: Puede ajustar el terminal móvil de modo que haya que pulsar siempre la tecla de llamada para aceptar una llamada (véase pagina 61).
Durante una conversación pulse las teclas + o – . En la pantalla aparece la indicación “Volumen”. Lo puede ajustar en cinco niveles.

Función sin sonido Para desactivar el micrófono durante una conversación, para que su
interlocutor no le pueda oír, pulse la tecla BACK durante la conversación. Aparece la entrada “Silencio activ”.
Vuelva a pulsar la tecla BACK para volver a activar el micrófono.
Terminar la conversación Para finalizar una llamada pulse la tecla de auricular o coloque el
terminal portátil en su cargador.
Después de haber colgado se muestra la duración de la última conversación. Un momento más tarde, la pantalla cambia a la indicación normal.
Llamar Levante el terminal móvil del cargador.
Introduzca ahora con las teclas numéricas el número deseado.
Pulse la tecla de llamada . El número se marcará.
También se puede pulsar primero la tecla de llamada y a continuación introducir el número de teléfono.
Marcar un número del listín Para crear el listín telefónico, véase pagina 68
Abra el listín telefónico con la tecla izquierda .
Selecione con +/– el abonado deseado y pulse la tecla de llamada .

Marcación abreviada Se pueden ocupar las teclas 2 hasta 9 del teléfono con los números del listín telefónico.
Mantenga pulsada la tecla correspondiente durante unos instantes para marcar el número de teléfono.
Llamada directa Se debe activar la llamada directa en el menú de teléfono. Para ello se necesita el PIN.
Cuando la llamada directa está activada (en la pantalla aparece “Llam directa”), al pulsar cualquier tecla se puede seleccionar un número de teléfono anteriormente memorizado.
La tecla MENU no se utiliza para la llamada directa. Ella conserva la función del menú.
Pulsar brevemente/durante unos instantes Se deben pulsar brevemente las teclas BACK, llamada , auricular
, listín telefónico e Int para seleccionar el número de teléfono.
Se debe pulsar las teclas numéricas como la tecla asterisco y de almohadilla, y la tecla R unos instantes para marcar el número de teléfono.
Cuando se pulsan estas teclas brevemente, aparece “Tecl desbloquead” porque las teclas están bloqueadas para la pulsación breve de las teclas.

Llamadas internas Si en la estación base están registrados varios terminales portátiles (véase pagina 62). Usted puede llamar desde su terminal portátil a otro de la misma estación base sin pagar ninguna tarifa.
Pulse la tecla Int.
En la pantalla se muestran todos los demás terminales portátiles registrados en la estación base (MT1 – 5).
Seleccione el terminal móvil deseado con las teclas izquierda o derecha y pulse la tecla de llamada .
Ahora se llamará al terminal móvil deseado.
Funciones adicionales
Modo de manos libres (hablar libremente) En el modo de manos libres puede mantener una conversación sin necesidad de tener el auricular en la mano.
Pulse la tecla de llamada durante la conversación. En la pantalla aparecerá “Altavoz act”.
Ahora se puede mantener una conversación a través del altavoz de la parte trasera del terminal portátil.
Para ajustar el volumen pulse durante una conversación las teclas + o – . En la pantalla aparece la indicación “Volumen”. Lo puede ajustar en cinco niveles
Para volver a cambiar al modo normal de teléfono, pulse de nuevo la tecla de llamada . Se desactiva el altavoz.

Tecla de rellamada La tecla R solamente tiene una función si su teléfono está conectado a una centralita.
La tecla R interrumpe la conexión de línea durante unos milisegundos. La duración de la interrupción se ajusta con la función tiempo de flash (véase Tiempo de flash). Mediante esta interrupción se indica a la centralita que con los siguientes tonos en el procedimiento de marcación multifrecuencia se trata de comandos para la centralita.
Las aplicaciones típicas de la tecla R son, por ejemplo, llamada en espera, solicitud de aclaración, intercambio, conferencias de tres participantes con al menos dos participantes exteriores.
No obstante, rogamos que observe que estas funciones son realizadas por su compañía telefónica (no por el teléfono). Consulte a su operador de red qué funciones se pueden realizar con la tecla R. Pregunte también la exacta combinación de teclas para las diferentes funciones de la tecla R (p.ej.: “aceptar aviso de llamada”, “rechazar aviso de llamada”, “cambiar entre dos conferencias”, etc.).
Desactivar el tono de llamada Mantenga pulsada la tecla de asterisco * durante un poco más de
tiempo para desactivar el tono de llamada. Aparecerá la entrada “Timbre apagado”.
Ahora, al entrar una llamada no sonará ningún timbre sino solamente parpadeará el LED del teléfono de la estación base, y en la pantalla del terminal portátil aparece “Llamada externa”.
Mantenga pulsada la tecla de asterisco * durante un poco más de tiempo para volver a activar el tono de llamada. Aparecerá la entrada “Timbre encendido”.

Indicación del número de teléfono Se puede ver en la pantalla el número de teléfono del abonado que llama, si Usted mismo ha solicitado a su compañía telefónica la función CLIP y si el abonado que llama también dispone de una conexión telefónica con la función CLIP y no ha bloqueado la identificación de su número.
Dependiendo de su operador de red Usted también podrá bloquear la identificación de su número. Si lo desea, consulte a su operador de red qué tendrá que hacer.

Lista de llamadas Las llamadas se memorizan en la lista solamente, – si el contestador automático no graba; – si el teléfono del abonado que llama dispone de la función CLIP (se puede ver el número del abonado en la pantalla).
Se guardan un máximo de 20 entradas de hasta 15 caracteres cada una en la lista de llamadas. La llamada 21 borra la primera llamada,
etc. En la pantalla aparece la indicación “Nueva Llam”.
Vuelva a pulsar en estado de reposo la tecla –.
Si no hay ninguna llamada grabada, aparecerá “Lista vacía”.
Si hay llamadas grabadas se las puede seleccionar con las teclas +/– . Si los abonados están memorizados en el listín telefónico, en lugar del número aparecerá el nombre.

Mostrar detalles En los detalles se ven todas o solamente las llamadas no contestadas. El preajuste para ello es “Categoría”, véase tipo de llamada.
Seleccione una entrada de la lista de llamadas y pulse la tecla MENU. Aparecerá la entrada “Detalles”.
Pulse MENU para que aparezcan los detalles (fecha y hora).
Marcar el número Seleccione una entrada de la lista de llamadas y pulse la tecla de
llamada .
Borrar Seleccione una entrada de la lista de llamadas y pulse la tecla MENU.
Seleccione con +/ – la entrada “Borrar”.
Pulse dos veces MENU. La entrada ha sido borrada.

Llamar número Seleccione una entrada de la lista de llamadas y pulse la tecla MENU.

Pulse MENU. El cursor de texto parpadea detrás de la última cifra. Ahora se puede editar el número (borrar los caracteres con la tecla BACK e introducir los caracteres nuevos).
Pulse la tecla de llamada para llamar al abonado.

Guardar el número en el listín telefónico Esta entrada solamente aparece si la entrada seleccionada es un número (ningún nombre).
Seleccione una entrada de la lista de llamadas y pulse la tecla MENU.

Si no desea modificar el número, desplácese a la entrada “Número”. Ahora se puede editar el número (borrar los caracteres con la tecla BACK e introducir los caracteres nuevos).

Tipo de llamada Aquí se puede decidir qué llamadas bajo “Detalles” deben aparecer, todas las llamadas o solamente las llamadas no contestadas. Si hay llamadas grabadas se las puede seleccionar con las teclas +/-. Si los abonados están memorizados en el listín telefónico, en lugar del número aparecerá el nombre.
Abra con – la lista de llamadas y pulse MENU.
Seleccione con +/ – la entrada “Categoría”.
Pulse MENU.
Seleccione “Llams perdidas” o “Todas llamadas”.
Pulse MENU para guardar la lista correspondiente.

Rellamada En la lista de rellamadas están guardados los últimos 5 números que Usted ha marcado.
Pulse la tecla +. Aparecerá el último número marcado o el nombre. Si la lista está vacía aparece “Lista vacía”.
Seleccione con +/– uno de los cinco números marcados.
Pulse la tecla de llamada para llamar al abonado.
También se puede abrir la lista de rellamada a través del menú.
Para ello pulse MENU en la pantalla inicial, seleccione con +/– la entrada “Lista rellamada” y vuelva a pulsar MENU.
Seleccione la entrada deseada (nombre o número) con +/– y vuelva a pulsar MENU.
Opciones para la rellamada Cuando la lista de rellamada está abierta tiene Usted las siguientes posibilidades de selección:
Llamar a número: Pulse MENU y a continuación la tecla de llamada .
El cursor de texto parpadea detrás de la última cifra. Aún puede modificar el número antes de realizar la llamada. Con las teclas +/– se puede mover el curso de texto hacia delante o hacía atrás. Si desea borrar las cifras pulse BACK. Si desea, introduzca cifras nuevas.
Borrar: Confirme Borrar dos veces con MENU para borrar la entrada de la lista de rellamada.
Borrar todos: Confirme Borrar todos dos veces con MENU para borrar toda la lista de rellamada.
La siguiente opción solamente aparece si la entrada seleccionada es un número (ningún nombre):

Guardar número (guardar el número en el listín telefónico):
Pulse MENU. Introduzca un nombre para el número. (Para la introducción de texto véase también Introducción de texto/caracteres.)
Pulse MENU. Aparecerá el número. El cursor de texto parpadea al final del número para que se pueda editar el número otra vez (véase arriba, “Llamar a número”).
Pulse MENU. Seleccione con +/– un grupo o “Sin Grupo” si no desea asignar el número a ningún grupo. Al mismo tiempo sonará el tono de llamada para este grupo.
Pulse MENU. Se guardará el número con el nombre en el listín telefónico.
Hablar por teléfono con varios interlocutores ADVERTENCIA: Las siguientes funciones solamente están disponibles si por lo menos un terminal móvil adicional, compatible con GAP, está registrado en la estación base.
Desviar llamadas Se puede aceptar una llamada y a continuación desviarla a un terminal móvil adicional, compatible con GAP, de la misma estación base.
Pulse la tecla Int durante la conversación.
Si además está solamente un terminal móvil, este sonará ahora.
Si están registrado otros terminales móviles, se los puede seleccionar con las teclas +/– y a continuación pulsar MENU para llamarlo.
Si alguien contesta en este terminal portátil, pulse en su propio terminal portátil la tecla de auricular (cuelgue) para transmitir la llamada.

Efectuar conmutación y conferencia telefónica Si un segundo terminal móvil acepta la llamada como se indica arriba, se puede conmutar entre tres participantes o efectuar una conferencia telefónica.
Conmutación Si un segundo terminal móvil ha aceptado la llamada, pulse MENU.
Con ello se conmuta entre la conexión con el abonado que llama y la persona del otro terminal móvil.
Conferencia telefónica Una conferencia telefónica es posible entre un participante externo y dos internos.
Si un segundo terminal móvil ha aceptado la llamada, el abonado debe pulsar MENU en este segundo terminal móvil. Ahora participan todos los interlocutores en la conferencia.
Durante la conferencia se puede cambiar entre la conferencia y una conferencia individual con el participante del otro terminal móvil.
Pulse MENU y seleccione con +/– la entrada “Conferencia individual”.
Vuelva a pulsar MENU para hablar con el participante del otro terminal móvil.
De la misma manera se puede volver a la conferencia a través de la entrada “Conferencia”.
Cada participante puede desconectarse de la conferencia telefónica, pulsando la tecla de auricular (colgar). Los otros interlocutores pueden seguir entonces con la conferencia telefónica.

El menú de teléfono En el menú se puede ver y modificar los ajustes del teléfono.
Navegación por el menú Así se desplaza en el menú:
En el menú se desplaza principalmente con las teclas MENU y +/- situadas en el lado del aparato.
Desde la pantalla inicial se abre con MENU el menú y los subpuntos del menú.
Se debe confirmar cada opción seleccionada o el ajuste realizado con la tecla MENU (Función “OK”). El teléfono confirma un nuevo ajuste con el aviso “Guardado”.
El menú de teléfono dispone de varios planos (véase también la tabla abajo). Si se ha desplazado con la tecla MENU desde el menú principal (nivel 1) a un submenú (nivel 2) y desde ahí a un nivel inferior (nivel 3), con la tecla BACK podrá volver a un nivel superior, es decir, un paso hacia atrás.
Con +/- se puede modificar los ajustes. Utilice +/- siempre cuando en la pantalla aparezcan los símbolos de flecha.
Con la tecla de auricular se abandona el menú en cualquier punto y se vuelve a la pantalla inicial (indicación del nombre y de la hora).

El contestador automático Con el contestador automático puede grabar las llamadas entrantes o transmitir un mensaje a quien llama durante su ausencia.
El teléfono puede grabar hasta 99 mensajes de una duración total de 15 minutos.
El contestador automático añade automáticamente a todos los mensajes la fecha y la hora. Para ello debe usted ajustar la fecha y la hora para poder aprovechar correctamente el contestador automático. Si no ha ajustado la fecha y la hora en la pantalla de la estación base aparece “– –:– –“. Las indicaciones de fecha y hora incluidas en los mensajes serán en este caso erróneas. Ajuste la fecha y la hora en el terminal móvil.
Conectar y desconectar
En la estación base Para activar el contestador automático pulse la tecla de
activar/desactivar de la estación base.
Si el contestador automático está desactivado, en la pantalla aparece: “– –” eventualmente alternándose con la cantidad de mensajes nuevos.
Si el contestador automático está activado, en la pantalla aparece la cantidad de los mensajes guardados; en estado de suministro: „0“.

En el terminal móvil Para desactivar el contestador automático con el terminal móvil proceda del modo siguiente:
Seleccione el menú “Contestador aut”.
Seleccione el submenú “ContAut act/des”.
Para desactivar el contestador automático, seleccione la opción “Desactivar” y pulse MENU.
Para volver a activar el contestador automático, seleccione la opción “Activar” y pulse MENU.
Escuchar mensajes El contestador automático distingue entre los mensajes ya escuchados (“antiguos”) y los que aún no se han escuchado (“Mensajes nuevos”).
Si se han grabado nuevos mensajes en el contestador automático, en la pantalla aparece el aviso “Nuevo mj”. En la pantalla de la estación base parpadea el número de los mensajes grabados.
Al escuchar los mensajes siempre se reproducen primero los nuevos.
“Nuevos” (no se pueden borrar los mensajes aún no escuchados).
Escuchar mensajes en la estación base Para escuchar los mensajes pulse la tecla de reproducción de la
estación base.
Se reproducirán los mensajes grabados.

Se finaliza la reproducción.
Para saltar un mensaje pulse la tecla de salto .
Para volver a escuchar un mensaje, pulse la tecla de salto una vez hacia atrás.
Para escuchar el mensaje anterior pulse la tecla de salto dos veces hacia atrás.
Para borrar el mensaje actual pulse .
Si después de haber escuchado todos los mensajes se pulsa en el plazo de ocho segundos, se borrarán todos los mensajes.
Para modificar el volumen durante la reproducción pulse las teclas + o – de la estación base.
Escuchar mensajes desde el terminal móvil Seleccione en el menú “Contestador Aut” la entrada “Reprod
Mensajes” y pulse MENU.
Se indicará la cantidad de mensajes.
Además aparecerán los datos de grabación de los mensajes nuevos y antiguos: Fecha y hora como el nombre (si el abonado está registrado en el listín telefónico) o el número (si Usted mismo ha solicitado a su compañía telefónica la función CLIP y si el abonado que llama también dispone de una conexión telefónica con la función CLIP y no ha bloqueado la identificación de su número).
Los mensajes “nuevos” (aún no escuchados) están marcados con un asterisco *.
Seleccione un mensaje y pulse MENU para reproducir el mensaje.

Anuncios Se suministran dos textos de mensaje saliente:
un mensaje saliente para el caso que se desea grabar un mensaje entrante;
un mensaje saliente para el caso que no se desea grabar un mensaje entrante.
Escuchar el mensaje saliente Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Ajustes”.
Seleccione la opción “Mensaj saliente”.
Seleccione la opción “Reproducir mens”.
A continuación, seleccione la opción “Respond&grabar” o la opción “Sólo responder”. Se reproducirá el mensaje correspondiente.
Texto preajustado con la grabación: “En este momento no le podemos atender. Se desea deje un mensaje después de oír la señal.”
Texto sin grabación: “En este momento no le podemos atender. Rogamos vuelva a llamar más adelante.”
Grabar mensaje saliente Para cada modo de contestación (véase arriba) se puede grabar un mensaje saliente. Estos mensajes salientes pueden tener hasta un minuto de duración.
Su propio mensaje saliente borra los textos salientes anteriormente ajustados. Para restablecer el texto del mensaje saliente preajustado después de una grabación nueva, se deberá realizar un Reset del sistema (véase pagina 66).

Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Ajustes”. Seleccione la opción “Mensaje saliente”.
Seleccione la opción "Nuevo".
A continuación, seleccione la opción “Respond&grabar” o “Sólo responder”.
Ahora se le pedirá que grabe su mensaje saliente después de la señal acústica.
Hable con el volumen de voz normal al micrófono del terminal móvil. Puede tener un máximo de un minuto de duración.
Si se desea borrar la grabación, pulse BACK.
Pulse MENU.
Para su control, después de la grabación se repite su mensaje saliente.
Ajustes en el menú “Contestador automático”
Modo de respuesta (con o sin grabación) Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Ajustes”.
Seleccione la opción “Modo respuesta”.
“Respond&grabar”: el contestador automático contesta la llamada y graba el mensaje;
“Sólo responder”: el contestador automático contesta la llamada sin grabar un mensaje.
Seleccione el ajuste deseado y confirme con MENU.
Retardo Puede determinar el número de señales de llamada tras el cual se conecta el contestador. Puede elegir entre 2, 4, 6 y 8 señales de llamada y el “Ahorro remoto”.

Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Ajustes” y ahí la opción “Retardo respues”.
Seleccione el número deseado de las señales de llamada o el modo de ahorro y confirme con MENU.
Modo de ahorro En el modo de ahorro se puede evitar gastos de conexión si se escucha el contestador automático desde el exterior. En caso de una consulta a distancia, el contestador automático se conecta en el modo de ahorro después de 10 segundos, siempre y cuando se haya grabado un mensaje nuevo. Si no existe un mensaje nuevo, se conectará después de 20 segundos. Si el contestador automático no se ha desconectado después de 10 segundos, Usted sabrá que no hay mensajes nuevos y puede colgar.
Para consulta a distancia, véase pagina 55.
Duración de la grabación Usted puede ajustar la duración del mensaje que se graba en el contestador automático. Se han preajustado 60 segundos. La duración de grabación total es de 15 minutos.
Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Ajustes” y ahí la opción “Tiempo grabac”.
Seleccione “30s”, “60s”, “120s” o “180s” y confirme con MENU.
Escuchar también Con la función “Escuchar también” puede escuchar una llamada sin interrumpir la grabación del mensaje en el contestador. Esta función es útil p. ej. si desea oír primero quién llama.
Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Ajustes” y ahí la opción “Filtro llamadas”.

Seleccione “Activar” o “Desactivar” y confirme con MENU.
Cuando la función “Escuchar también” está activada, aparece durante una llamada entrante, si el contestador automático se activa, el mensaje “¿Filtro llamadas?” en la pantalla del terminal móvil.
Pulse la tecla MENU para oír la persona que llama.
Para aceptar la llamada pulse la tecla de llamada del terminal móvil.
Aviso acústico Si el aviso acústico está activado, la estación base emite cada 60 segundos un tono cuando hayan entrado nuevos mensajes.
Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Ajustes” y ahí la opción “Tono de aviso”.
Seleccione “Activar” o “Desactivar” y confirme con MENU.
Consulta a distancia Se puede consultar el contestador automático desde cualquier teléfono de marcación por tonos. Para ello se necesita un número PIN de cuatro dígitos.
El PIN está fijado de fábrica en “0000”. Este PIN no es igual al PIN del sistema (véase pagina 65).
Encendido Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Acceso remoto” y
ahí la opción “Activar”.
Ahora se puede realizar la consulta a distancia desde otro teléfono.

Cambiar el PIN de consulta a distancia Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Acceso remoto” y
ahí la opción “Ajustar PIN”.
Introduzca con el teclado numérico el PIN antiguo.
Pulse MENU e introduzca un nuevo PIN de cuatro dígitos.
Pulse MENU y vuelva a introducir este PIN. Se memoriza el nuevo PIN.
Apagar Abra en el menú “Contestador Aut” el submenú “Acceso remoto” y
ahí la opción “Desactivar” y confirme con MENU.
Ahora, no es posible una consulta a distancia.
Escuchar los mensajes desde otra conexión telefónica Para consultar el contestador automático desde otro teléfono, proceda como sigue:
Marque el número de teléfono de su conexión.
Al conectarse su contestador automático pulse la tecla del asterisco * en el teléfono. Escuchará el mensaje “Por favor, introduzca su código de consulta a distancia”.
Ahora introduzca su PIN de consulta a distancia con las teclas numéricas.
Si se ha equivocado, puede corregirlo una vez. A continuación se interrumpirá la conexión.
Si tiene nuevos mensajes oirá el mensaje “Tiene X nuevos mensajes” (“X” sustituye aquí a la cantidad de mensajes). Si no tiene ningún mensaje nuevo, oirá el mensaje “No tiene mensajes nuevos”.

Si no realiza ninguna entrada en ocho segundos se interrumpe automáticamente la conexión.
Si no han entrado nuevas llamadas se puede evitar el coste por la consulta si se conmuta el contestador al modo de ahorro (véase capítulo „Retardo“).
Activar el contestador automático desde una conexión externa También puede conectar el contestador automático desde una conexión telefónica externa.
Marque su número de teléfono.
Espere hasta la vigésima señal de llamada. Se oirá el mensaje: “Por favor, introduzca su código de consulta a distancia.”

Sonido de llamada Puede definir la melodía de llamada para el terminal móvil que va a sonar con las llamadas externas o internas. Así puede ya con la señal de llamada reconocer si quien llama lo hace desde el exterior o si está registrado en la misma estación base.
Abra en el menú “Ajustes TM” la opción “Tono del timbre”.

“Sonido teclas“: Señal acústica cuando se pulse cualquier tecla.
“Aj tono confirm”: Señal acústica al guardar.
“Batería baja“: Señal acústica cuando la batería está casi descargada.

“Sin cobertura“: Señal acústica si el terminal móvil abandona la cobertura de la estación base.
Llamada directa En caso de la llamada directa, al pulsar cualquier tecla (con excepción de la tecla MENU) se selecciona un número determinado, anteriormente guardado.
Abra en el menú “Ajustes TM” la opción “Llam directa”.
Introduzca con las teclas numéricas el PIN del sistema de cuatro dígitos y confirme con “OK”.
En el estado de suministro el PIN del sistema es: „0000“. Para modificar el PIN.
Seleccione “Llam direct act”.
Introduzca con las teclas numéricas aquél número de teléfono que se desea seleccionar a cada pulsación de tecla.
Después de la confirmación con “OK” aparece en la pantalla la entrada “Llam directa”.
Para desactivar la llamada directa, abra primero el menú. Deberá introducir nuevamente el PIN.
Seleccione la opción “Llam direct des” y confirme con MENU.

Seleccionar la base Para aumentar la zona de cobertura del terminal móvil puede registrarlo en hasta dos estaciones base.

Registrar el terminal portátil Abra en el menú “Ajustes TM” la opción “Registrar”.
Se ofrecen cuatro estaciones base. En el estado de entrega está ocupada la primera base con el terminal móvil 1. Se pueden registrar hasta cinco terminales móviles en una base.
Seleccione una estación base y confirme con MENU. En la pantalla aparece: “Registrando”.
Introduzca con las teclas numéricas el PIN del sistema y confirme con MENU.
En el estado de suministro el PIN del sistema es: „0000“. Para modificar el PIN: véase pagina 65.
A continuación, pulse la tecla “Buscando TM” en la base y manténgala pulsada durante aprox. 10 segundos. Al oír la señal acústica, suéltela.
Si el registro ha tenido éxito, en la pantalla aparece el número interno del terminal móvil.
Si la estación base se encuentra demasiado lejos del terminal móvil, aparecerá el aviso “Ninguna base”.
También existe la posibilidad de registrar otros teléfonos DECT-GAP en la estación base. Consulte el manual de instrucciones del fabricante correspondiente.
Eliminar terminal móvil Abra en el menú “Ajustes TM” la opción “Des-registrar”.
Introduzca con las teclas numéricas el PIN del sistema y confirme con MENU.
Seleccione el terminal móvil que desea eliminar.
Pulse MENU para eliminar el terminal móvil.

Al entrar una llamada todos los móviles suenan al mismo tiempo.

Determine en el próximo paso el retardo después del que el terminal móvil debe sonar: 2, 4, 6 ó 8 señales de llamada.
Confirme con MENU y determine eventualmente también un retardo de llamada para otros terminales móviles.
Tipo de marcación Aquí se puede ajustar su teléfono al tipo de marcación de su operador de red.
De fábrica está establecida “Tonos”. Esta es hoy en día el tipo de marcación más empleado y por ello está preajustado. En caso de algunos equipos telefónicos más antiguos se necesitará la marcación por pulsos.
Consulte a su operador de red qué tipo de marcación es necesario en su conexión.
Abra en el menú “Ajustes de base” el submenú “Modo marcación”.
Seleccione aquí “Tonos” o “Pulsos”.
Tiempo de flash Con esta función puede adaptar su teléfono a las definiciones previas de su operador de red o su centralita privada. Puede ajustar el tiempo de Flash en los siguientes niveles: 80ms, 100ms, 120ms, 180ms, 250ms, 300ms, 600ms, 800ms.

Seleccione aquí uno de los siguientes valores: 80 ms, 100 ms, 120 ms, 180 ms, 250 ms, 300 ms, 600 ms, 800 ms. Se han preajustado 250 ms.
Los equipos telefónicos más antiguos necesitan típicamente 80ms.
Cambiar el PIN del sistema Determinados ajustes se pueden modificar únicamente después de haber introducido el PIN (número de identificación personal). De fábrica esta preajustado el PIN “0000”. Con este submenú puede introducir usted mismo cualquier PIN de cuatro cifras que desee.
Rogamos que observe que el PIN del sistema se necesita también para restablecer (Reset). El PIN del sistema no se restablece a como estaba originalmente. Así que apúntese bien el nuevo PIN del sistema y guárdelo en un lugar seguro. No obstante, si ha olvidado el nuevo PIN del sistema, diríjase a nuestra servicio post-venta.
Abra en el menú “Ajustes de base” el submenú “PIN de sistema”.
Introduzca en la entrada “¿Ant PIN?” el PIN antiguo con las teclas numéricas y confirme con MENU.
Introduzca en la entrada “¿Nue PIN?” con las teclas numéricas un PIN que Usted ha elegido, de cuatro dígitos y confirme con MENU.
Vuelva a introducir en la entrada “Repetir” el nuevo PIN y confirme con MENU. Ahora se ha modificado el PIN del sistema.

Prefijo para obtener línea Se necesita el prefijo para obtener línea si el teléfono funciona a través de una centralita. Para llamadas internas se deberá marcar normalmente un prefijo para obtener línea.
Averigüe qué prefijo necesita su equipo telefónico.
Abra en el menú “Ajustes de base” el submenú “Acceso CENT”.
Introduzca con las teclas numéricas el prefijo de su equipo telefónico y confirme con MENU.
Si su teléfono reconoce el prefijo para obtener línea al principio del número de teléfono, al marcar introduce automáticamente una pausa después del prefijo para obtener línea.
Modo ECO El modo ECO facilita un funcionamiento de baja radiación durante una conversación. La reducción de radiación depende de la distancia del terminal portátil hasta la estación base.
Abra en el menú “Ajustes de base” el submenú “Modo ECO”.
Seleccione “Activar” o “Desactivar”. Cuando el modo ECO está desactivado, la cobertura aumenta un poco.
Reset del sistema Con esta función se restablecen todos los ajustes realizados individualmente de la estación base – con excepción del PIN del sistema – al estado de suministro.
Abra en el menú “Ajustes de base” el submenú “Reinic sistema”.
Introduzca con las teclas numéricas el PIN y confirme con MENU.
Confirme la pregunta de seguridad “¿Rest. fábrica?” con MENU.

Ajustar fecha y hora Deben volver a introducirse la hora y la fecha cuando se separa la estación base de la corriente.

Alarma En este punto de menú se puede ajustar una alarma para una hora determinada.
Abra en el menú “Ajustes” el submenú “Alarma”.
Ajustar la alarma Seleccione la opción "Introducir hora".

Pulse MENU para activar la hora.

Desactivar alarma A la hora ajustada sonará la melodía de alarma seleccionada y en la pantalla del terminal móvil aparecerá la indicación “<Alarma>”.
Para desactivar la alarma pulse la tecla MENU.
Agenda En la agenda se pueden guardar hasta 40 números de teléfono. Los números de teléfono pueden tener hasta 24 dígitos, los nombres hasta 15 caracteres. Se puede asignar la entrada a un grupo de llamada. Para ocho entradas se puede asignar una tecla numérica como marcación abreviada.
Abra el listín telefónico con la tecla .
Se selecciona entre las entradas del listín telefónico, pulsando repetidas veces +/– o la tecla del listín telefónico .
Pulse la tecla de llamada para llamar al abonado desde el listín telefónico.
Con MENU se abre el menú del listín telefónico.
Nueva entrada Las indicaciones para la introducción de texto y una tabla de los caracteres disponibles por tecla numérica se encuentra en Introducción de texto/caracteres disponibles.
Se puede asignar los abonados del listín telefónico a grupos de llamadas que disponen de diferentes timbres, por lo cual Usted ya reconocerá por el tono de llamada de qué grupo de llamada le llama un abonado.
Abra el menú del listín telefónico (tecla y MENU).
Confirme la operación “Nueva entrada”.

Si no desea ninguna asignación de grupos confirme “Sin Grupo“ con MENU. Para esta asignación es válido el tono de llamada que ha sido ajustado para llamadas externas (véase pagina 69).
Modificar entrada Abra el listín telefónico .
Seleccione la entrada deseada y pulse MENU.
Seleccione la opción “Editar entrada” y pulse MENU.
Modifique la entrada como al crear una nueva entrada (véase el capítulo anterior).

Indicaciones para la introducción de texto Si se necesitan realizar entradas de cifras o letras, antes del carácter a introducir aparecerá un cursor de texto parpadeante. Por ejemplo en el listín telefónico:

Safety information About these instructions
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Note the warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions Always keep the operating instructions close to hand. If you sell
the appliance or give it away, make sure you also hand over these instructions and the guarantee slip.
Keeping electrical equipment out of reach of children Children are not aware of the dangers associated with using electrical equipment. Children should therefore always be supervised when using electrical equipment. Rechargeable batteries can be fatal if swallowed. For this reason, keep the handset, the batteries or the rechargeable battery block out of reach of small children. If a rechargeable battery is swallowed, please obtain immediate medical assistance. Keep plastic packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation.
Potentially explosive areas Never use the handset in a potentially hazardous environment, e.g. in a paint shop or in the vicinity of a gas leak.

Setting up the appliance safely Place the base station on a stable, level surface. Make sure to set up the base station and charging unit so that it is protected from falling down. Do not place the base station and handset near heat sources (e.g. radiators) that could affect the base station and handset. Do not expose the appliances to direct sunlight. Contact with moisture, water and splashes must be avoided. The appliance is not suitable for use in rooms that are very humid (e.g. bathroom). Do not place the base station close to other electrical equipment (e.g. television or microwave oven). Do not place the base station close to open sources of fire (e.g. burning candles). Do not connect the device immediately to the power supply if the unit has been moved from a cold to a warm room. The ensuing condensation could damage the device. The device can be operated as soon as it reaches room temperature.
Mains adapter Only use the power pack supplied for the base station. The power pack must only be used in dry rooms.
Mains connection Only connect the base station to a well accessible socket (230 V ~ 50 Hz) located close to the setup location. Leave the socket easily accessible, so that the power pack can be pulled out without obstruction. Always remove the power pack from the socket at the plug; do not pull on the cable. Do not bend or squash the power pack cable. Never place the handset into the base station without the battery compartment cover.

Non-use/thunderstorm Pull the mains adapter from the socket and the telephone cable from the base station in the case of longer absence or during a thunderstorm. Also remove the batteries from the handset, in order to avoid leakage, in the case of longer non-use under all circumstances. A leaking battery can damage the handset.
Handling the rechargeable batteries safely You will need two batteries for the handset. Pay attention to the following information for this:
Keep the batteries away from children. Inform your doctor immediately, if batteries have been swallowed by mistake.
Do not throw the batteries into a fire or short-circuit them and do not take them to pieces.
Never reverse the polarity (+/-) when inserting the batteries, in order to avoid short-circuits.
Do not mix new and old batteries or those of different types. This could lead to malfunctions of your device. The weaker battery would discharge too quickly apart from this.
Always replace both batteries at the same time.
Remove exhausted rechargeable batteries from the appliance immediately! There is an increased risk of leakage.

Never subject the batteries to excessive heat, such as solar radiation, fire or similar sources of heat. For example, do not place the device on a radiator. There will be an increased risk of leaking!
Avoid heavy impacts and vibrations.
Remove an exhausted battery from the device immediately. Clean the contacts before inserting a new battery. There will be the danger of burning by battery acid.
Do not dismantle or reshape the batteries. Your hands or fingers could be injured.
If battery acid has leaked out, it is essential to avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes! Leaked battery fluid can cause skin rash. If the acid does come into contact with skin, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of clear water and consult a doctor immediately.
Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for long periods.
Insulate the contacts of the batteries with an adhesive strip if you wish to store or dispose of them.

Correct repair procedure If the mains adapter, cable or base station is damaged, detach the plug from the power supply immediately.
Never try to open and/or repair the device yourself. There is a risk of electric shock. In the event of a fault please contact the Medion Service Centre or an approved repair specialist. The mains adapter must be destroyed and replaced by one of
the same type, in order to avoid damage, if the connection cable of this device has been damaged. Contact the Medion Service Center in this case.
What is DECT? DECT (Digital European Cordless Telecommunication) is the standard for cordless digital telephones and cordless telecommunication systems that was defined by the European Standardisation Organization ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute). Nowadays, DECT is mainly used for cordless telephones in the private sector, even though DECT can do much more.

History In 1988, the newly established European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) was faced with the task of defining a European standard for digital cordless telephones. A British standard (CT2) and a Swedish standard (CT3) already existed, but ETSI decided to create a completely new standard that went much further. This was the hour that DECT was born In June 1991, the most important parts of the standard entered the public comment phase and the first DECT units were commercially available as early as 1992. DECT received further momentum in 1994 through the definition of the Generic Access Profile (GAP) which made it possible to combine units from different manufacturers with each other. Today, all DECT units are mostly GAP-compatible. Work on DECT still continues. New extensions are continuously being defined at ETSI. DECT describes a mobile communications system, the fixed part of which consists of one or several base stations. The counterpart to this is the handset. It is possible to use several handsets, such as several cordless telephones within one home or office. It is also possible to use several base stations in a fixed mobile communications system to supply a larger area (building complex), or to enable several calls simultaneously. The base stations are then controlled by an internal control module (Fixed Part Controller).

Distribution DECT was defined as the European standard for cordless telephones. The world has changed in the meantime: files are increasingly transmitted as well as speech, both in the office and at home. DECT has, however, made triumphant progress around the world at the same time: it has been accepted on other continents because of its universality, not only in Europe. The regulating authorities of Australia, Hong Kong, China and the USA (under the name of PWT) have standardised DECT for their regions, in different frequency ranges to some extent. Variants of DECT are used in over 100 countries in the meantime.

Getting started
Setting up
Place the base station on a level, firm surface.
Some aggressive furniture paints can weaken the appliance's rubber feet. If necessary, place the base station on a pad.
Set up the base station at a practical working height and secure it from falling down.
Set up the base station close to a power outlet and a telephone socket.
Prevent the appliances from coming into contact with moisture or liquids.
Do not place the base station in the immediate vicinity of other electrical devices (e.g. televisions).
Inserting rechargeable batteries in the handset Two AAA 600 mAh nickel-metal hydride batteries are supplied for the handset.

ATTENTION! Only use nickel-metal hydride batteries of the type supplied (NiMH; 1.2 V; 600mAH) in the handset. The guarantee of the device will lapse if you insert different batteries. The handset could be damaged.
Slide down the battery cover on the back of the handset.
Place both batteries in the battery compartment, paying attention to the polarity (+/–); each minus terminal will lie at the spring.
Push the battery compartment cover back onto the battery compartment.

Connecting the power supply to the base station
Only use the mains adapter supplied, Model No.: S005CV0600060, to connect the base station. A type plate with the relevant information will be found on the power pack.
Connect the jack of the mains adapter cable to the right connection on the base station.
Secure the plug from falling out by routing the cable behind the cable clamp.
Plug the mains plug of the mains adapter into an easily accessible mains socket.
The answerphone will switch on.

Charging the battery
Important information about charging a battery/ first operation Do not connect the base station to the telephone network until the
handset has charged completely. The battery will not reach its complete capacity otherwise. The charging time for the first operation is approx. 20 hours. Do not interrupt the charging process because the capacity of the battery can be reduced with enduring effect otherwise. You will not yet be able to telephone with the handset while the battery is being charged. The batteries will reach the best capacity if they have been exhausted and recharged completely several times at the start (for approx one week). Leave the handset off the base to discharge it. Further charging processes will then last approx. 6 to 8 hours. Never put the handset into the base or the charging station without the battery compartment cover.
You can leave the handset in the base station/charging unit. This ensures a maximum charging condition. The capacity of the rechargeable battery will last for 10 hours of calls, or 100 standby hours. The rechargeable battery will then have to be recharged after that time.

Charging the rechargeable batteries in the base station
Place the handset in the charging cradle of the base station and charge the rechargeable battery.
A beep indicates that the handset has been correctly placed in the cradle.

Connecting the base station to the telephone network
ATTENTION!
Do not connect the base station to the telephone network until the handset has been charged completely. The battery will not reach its full capacity otherwise.
Insert the Western jack of the supplied telephone cable in the left jack at the back of the base station.
Insert the other plug on the telephone cable to the telephone wall socket.

The display
Display language The display language is German at the status at delivery. You can also set the display language to English or Turkish; see Language.
Rechargeable battery indicator The symbol for the battery is divided into four fields. They show the respective charging status of the batteries (full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 and empty). The battery display will flash, if the battery is empty or almost empty, and the handset will have to be placed in the base station, so that the battery can be charged.
A signal sound will also be emitted every 60 seconds when the battery charge has finished. This signal sound can be switched off (Advisory tones).
Range display The ‘Search…’ message will appear on the display if the handset is outside the range or is not registered.

Initial settings
Language Please gather from Language if you wish to set a different language (presetting: German).
Date and time The date and the time are necessary so that the answerphone can store messages correctly. You will set the date and the time as follows: ► Press MENU.
► Go to the ‘Settings’ menu by pressing the key (on the side of the device repeatedly and press MENU.
► The ‘H/Set Settings’ entry will appear. Go to the ‘Time/Date’ menu point by pressing the key repeatedly and press MENU.
► The ‘Time format’ entry will appear. Press MENU.
► Select either the 24-hour or the 12-hour format 2 with +/–.
► Press MENU. The format will be stored.
► Press –. The ‘Date format’ entry will appear.
► Press MENU. Select either the DD/MM format (day before month) or MM/DD (month before day) with +/–.
► Press MENU. The format will be stored.
► Press –. The ‘Enter Time’ will appear.
2 a.m. for the hours before noon or p.m. for the hours after noon will
appear behind the time, if you have selected the 12-hour time format.

► Press –. The ‘Enter Date’ will appear.
► Press MENU. The fields for the date will appear.
► Enter the current date with the number keys. – Use the BACK key to go back to Step 14 (’Enter Date’), if you have pressed the wrong number.
► Press MENU. The date will be stored.
► Press the Receiver key or wait for 30 seconds to receive the basic display with the time.

General functions
Switching the handset on and off
You will have to remove the handset from the base station to switch it off.
Hold the Receiver key pressed down for some seconds. ‘Switch off?’ [Handset off?] will appear on the display.
Confirm with MENU. The display will go out.
To switch the handset back on, briefly press the call key. After a short moment, the standard display appears on the display again.
You can also switch the handset back on by replacing it in the base station.
Key lock To prevent accidental dialling when you are carrying the handset with you, you can activate the keypad lock. This is not possible during a call.
Hold the Rhombus key # pressed down, until the ‘Keypad locked’ entry appears on the display.
When the keypad lock is activated, you can continue to use the emergency services. You can also continue receiving calls.
Hold the Rhombus key # pressed down again, until ‘Keypad unlocked’ appears on the display, to switch off the key block again.

Paging the handset
If you page the handset from the base station, or if you are looking for the handset, then press the paging key at the base station.
This triggers a ringing signal from the handset, and "Paging" appears on the display.
Stop the ringing signal with the call key.

Telephone Calls
Answering the telephone You will hear the call tone if a call is received. Either ‘Extern Call’, the telephone number of the caller or the name, if the name is stored in the List of Contacts with this number, will appear on the display. The telephone LED on the base station will also flash.
INFORMATION: This display of the call number can differ or be unavailable according to the network provider and the type of the
telephone connection. To accept a call when the handset is in the charge cradle, proceed as follows:
Lift the handset from the charging cradle or press the Talk key, to switch the telephone to the hands-free mode.
To accept a call when the handset is not in the charge cradle, press the talk key.
INFORMATION: You can set the handset so that you will always have to press the Talk key to receive a call (see

Automatic [Automatic reception]).
Changing the earpiece volume
Press the + or the – key during a conversation. The Volume.’ visual representation will appear on the display. You will be able to set it at five levels.
Sound off function
Press the BACK key during a conversation, to switch off the microphone during the conversation, do that your conversational partner cannot hear you. The ‘Mute on’ entry will appear.
Press the BACK key again, to switch the microphone on again.
Ending a call
Press the Receiver key or place the handset in the charge cradle, to end a call.
After you have hung up, the duration of the last call is displayed. After a brief moment, the display will switch to the normal display.
Calling
Take the handset out of the cradle.
Enter the relevant telephone number with the alphanumeric keypad.
Press the talk key. The number will be dialled. You can also press the Talk key first and then enter the telephone number.

Selecting from the directory See Directory for setting up the List of Contacts.
Open the List of Contacts with the key.
Select the required subscriber with +/– and press the Talk key.
Quick dial The 2 to 9 keys of the telephones can be assigned with numbers from the List of Contacts.
Then hold the key pressed down rather longer to select the corresponding number.
Direct dialling Direct dialling must be activated in the Telephone menu [Direct dialling]. You will need the PIN for this. You will be able to select any previously stored telephone number by pressing any key if direct dialling has been activated ( ‘Dir. Call ON.’ will appear on the display).
The MENU key is not used for direct dialling. It contains the Menu function.
Pressing a key for a short or a long time
The BACK, Talk, Receiver, List of Contacts and Int keys must be pressed for a short time to select the respective telephone number.
The Number keys, the Star, the Rhombus and the R key must be pressed for rather longer to select the respective telephone number.

‘Keypad locked’ will appear if these keys have been pressed for a short time, because the keyboard will have been locked against pressing for a short time.
Calling in-house You will be able to call all the other handsets on the same base station without paying charges if several handsets are registered on a base station (see Registering handsets).
Press the Int. key. All the other handsets that are registered on the base station will appear on the display (Handsets 1 - 5).
Select the required handset with the left or the right key and press the Talk key.
The required handset will now be called.

Additional functions
Handsfree mode In the hands-free mode you can make calls without having to hold the handset.
Press the Talk key during a conversation. ‘Spk On’ will appear on the display.
Now you will be able to call the respective handset by means of the loudspeaker on the back.
Press the + or the – key during a conversation, to adjust the volume. The visual representation ‘Volume.’ will appear on the display. You will be able to set it at five levels.
Press the Talk key again to change back to the normal Telephone mode. The loudspeaker will be switched off.
Recall key The R key only has one function when your telephone is connected to a telephone system. The R key interrupts the line connection for a few milliseconds. The duration of the interruption is set using the Flash Time function (see 61" 5>). This interruption signals the exchange that the following sounds in multi-frequency selection procedures are commands to the exchange. Typical applications for the R key are, e.g. call waiting, recall, brokering and three-way conference with at least two external subscribers.

Please note, however, that this function is implemented by your telephone provider (not by the telephone itself). Enquire of your network provider which functions you may execute with the R key. Also ask for the exact key combinations for the various R key functions (e.g.: "Accept call waiting", "Reject call waiting", "Switch back and forth between two connections", etc.).
Switching off the ring
Hold the Star key * pressed down longer to switch off the ring. The ‘Ringer off’ entry will appear.
No sound will now arise in the case of a call, but only the telephone LED on the base station will flash and ‘External Call’ will appear on the display of the handset.
Hold the Star key * pressed down for longer to switch the ring on again. The ‘Ring On’ [Ring on] entry will appear.
Caller identity function You will be able to see the telephone number of a caller on the display if you have applied to your network provider for the CLIP function and the caller also has a telephone connection with the CLIP function and has not suppressed the telephone number. Depending on your network provider, you can also suppress your telephone number. If that is what you want, then please enquire of your network provider on how to proceed.

Call list Calls will then only be stored in the Call List, – If the answerphone has not recorded them; – If the phone of the caller has the CLIP service feature (the number of the caller is seen on the display).
A maximum of 20 entries each with up to 15 symbols will be recorded in the List of Calls. The 21st call will delete the first call, and so on. The ‘New Call’ message will appear on the display.
Press the – key in the non-operating state. If there are no calls stored in memory, "List Empty" will appear on the display. You will be able to make a selection with the +/– keys if calls have been stored. The name will appear, instead of the number, if the callers are stored in the List of Contacts.
Showing details You will see either all the calls or only those unanswered under Details. This will be preset with ‘Category’.
Select an entry from the List of Calls and press the MENU key. The ‘Details’ entry will appear.
Press MENU to display the Details (Date and Time).

Redialling options You will have the following possible selections if the Redialling List is open:
Call a number: Press MENU and then the Talk key. The text cursor will flash behind the last digit of the number. You will still be able to change the number before calling it. You will be able to move the text cursor forwards or back with the +/– keys.
Press BACK if you wish to delete digits. Enter new digits, if necessary.
Delete: Confirm the deletion twice with MENU, to delete the entry from the Redialling List.
Delete all: Confirm Delete all with MENU, to delete the whole Redialling List.

Store Number (store the number in the List of Contacts):
Press MENU. Enter a name for the number.
Press MENU. The number will appear. The text cursor will flash at the end of the number, so that you will be able to process the number again (see also under ‘Call number’).
Press MENU. Select a group or ‘No group’ with +/–, if you do not wish to allocate the number to a group. The call sound for this group will ring at the same time.
Press MENU. The number will be stored, with the name, in the List of Contacts.

Making calls to several callers INFORMATION: The following functions will only be available if at least one additional GAP-capable handset is registered at the base station.
Transferring calls You can accept a call and then transfer it to an additional GAP-enabled handset on the same base station.
Press the Int. key during a conversation.
The only additionally connected handset will now ring, if only one is registered.
You will be able to select a handset with the +/– keys, then press MENU to call it, if several are registered.
Press the Receiver key on your own handset to transfer the call (replace the receiver), if someone has answered on the called handset.
Brokering and holding a conference call If a second handset accepts the call as described above, you can broker between the three subscribers or hold a conference call.
Brokering
Press MENU, if someone has answered on the second handset. You will change between the connection with the caller and the individual on the other handset with this.

Conference call A conference call between one external and two internal subscribers is possible.
The subscriber will have to press MENU on the second handset if someone has answered on it. Now, all subscribers will be included in the conference call.
You will be able to change between the conference call and the individual conversation with the subscriber on the other handset during the conference call.
Press MENU and then select ‘Single call’ [Individual conversation] with +/– .
Press MENU again, to speak only with the subscriber on the other handset.
You will be able to return to the conference call through the ‘Conf.’ [Conference] entry in the same way.
Each party can leave the conference call by simply pressing the call key (hanging up). The other callers can continue to hold the conference call.

The Telephone Menu You will be able to see the settings of the phone and to change them in the menu.
Navigating in the menu You will move in the menu in the following way: You will mainly navigate in the menu with the MENU and the +/- keys on the side of the device. You will open the menu and the sub-points of the menu from the basic
display with MENU. Each option selected or setting made will have to be confirmed with
the MENU key (‘OK’ function). The telephone will acknowledge a new setting with the ‘Gespeichert’ [Stored] message. The Telephone menu has several levels (see also the Table below). You
will navigate to one level higher or a step back with the BACK key, if you have navigated from the Main Menu (Level 1) to a sub-menu (Level 2) and
from there another level deeper (Level 3) with the MENU key.
You will change settings with +/-. Always use +/-if the arrow symbols appear on the display. The answerphone Use the answerphone to record incoming messages during your absence or to leave a message for a caller. The telephone can receive up to 99 messages with a total length of 15 minutes. The answerphone will automatically add the date and time to every message. You must therefore set the date and time in order to use the answerphone properly. If you do not set the date and time, " – – " will appear on the display of the base station. The date and time for the messages will all be incorrect in this case. Set the date and time at the handset.
Switching on/off
At the base station
Press the on/off key on the base station, to switch the answerphone on or off.
When the answerphone is switched off, the display will show: "– –", possibly alternating with the number of new messages.
When the answerphone is switched on, the display will show the number of stored messages; in the factory settings:

Listening to messages The answerphone differentiates between (‘old’) messages already listened to and messages that have not yet been listened to (‘new messages’). The ‘New Msge’ message will appear on the display if new massages have been recorded on the answerphone. The number of messages stored will flash on the display of the base station. If you play back the messages, the new messages will always be played back first.

Press the Replay key on the base station to listen to messages. The recorded messages will now be played back.
Options during the replay on the base station
Press the Stop key to end the replay. Playback is now ended.

Recording an announcement You can record an announcement for every answering mode (see above). These announcements can be up to one minute long.
Your own announcement will delete the pre-set announcement texts. You will have to carry out a system reset (see System reset) to recreate the pre-set announcement text after a new recording.
Open the ‘Settings’ sub-menu and the ‘Outgoin msg’ option there, in the ‘Answer Machine’ menu.
Select the ‘New message’ option.

‘Anser only.’: The answerphone will answer the call without recording a message.
Select the required setting and confirm with MENU.
Delay: You can set the number of rings after which the answering machine will be activated. You can choose between 2, 4, 6 and 8 rings and the "Economy Mode".
Open the ‘Settings’ sub-menu and the ‘Delay’ option there, in the ‘Answer Machine’ menu.
Select the required number of rings or the Economy mode and confirm with MENU.
Economy mode You can avoid connection costs when listening to the answerphone from outside in the Economy mode. The answerphone will switch on after 10 seconds in Economy mode if you have new messages in the case of a remote enquiry. It will only switch on after 20 seconds in Economy mode if

you have no new messages. Therefore, you will know that there are no new messages and that you can replace the receiver, if the answerphone has not switched on after 10 seconds. See also Remote enquiry for remote enquiries.
Recording time You can set how long the message on the answering machine may be. The default value is 60 seconds. The total recording time is 15 minutes.
Open the ‘Settings’ sub-menu and the ‘Record time’ option there, in the ‘Answer Machine’ menu.
Select ‘30 s.’, ‘60 s.’, ‘120 s’ or ‘180 s’ and confirm with MENU.
Monitoring With the "Monitoring" function you can listen to a call without interrupting the message being recorded on the answering machine. This function is helpful, e.g. when you first want to hear who the caller is.
Open the ‘Settings’ sub-menu and the ‘Call screen’ option there, in the ‘Answer Machine’ menu.
Select ‘On’ or ‘Off’ and confirm with MENU. The ‘Screen?’ message will appear on the display of the handset when the answerphone switches on, in the case of a call, provided that the monitoring function has been activated.
Then press the MENU key to listen to the caller.
To accept the call press the Talk key on the handset.

Beep The base station will emit a sound every 60 seconds, if new messages have been received, if the beep has been activated.

Remote enquiry You can listen to the answerphone from any telephone with touch-tone dialling. You will need a four-digit PIN for this.

Playing back messages from a different telephone extension Proceed as follows to listen to the answerphone from a different telephone:
Dial the telephone number of your extension.
Press the Star key * on the telephone when your answerphone has switched on. You will hear the ‘Please enter your remote enquiry code’ announcement.
Enter your remote enquiry PIN now with the keypad.
You will be able to make one correction if you have made a typing error. The connection will be terminated after that.
If you have new messages, you will hear the announcement "You have X new messages" ("X" stands for the number). If you do not have any new messages, you will hear the announcement "You have no new messages". The additional options that you will be able to activate with the number keys will also be specified:

Direct dialling Pressing any key (with the exception of the MENU key) will lead to the selection of a certain number previously stored in the case of direct dialling.

Automatic acceptance

‘On’ option: You will be able to accept a call by lifting the handset from the base station, without pressing the Talk key.

Registering handsets
Open the die Option ‘Register’ option in the ‘H/Set Settings’ menu.
Four base stations will be offered. The first base station is occupied with handset 1 in the status at delivery. You can register up to five handsets on one base station.
Select a base station and confirm with MENU. ‘Regist`g ...’ [Registration is running..] will appear in the display.
Enter the system PIN with the number keys and confirm with MENU. The system PIN is ‘0000’ in the status at delivery. To change the system PIN:

Confirm with MENU and also establish a call delay for additional handsets, if necessary.
Dialling mode Here you can adapt your telephone to the dialling mode of your network provider.
The factory setting is ‘Ringer’. That is the current usual dialling behaviour and is therefore preset. Pulse dialling can be necessary in the case of some older telephone systems. Enquire of your network provider which dialling mode is required for
your connection.

Flash time You can adjust your telephone to the guidelines of your network operator or your private branch exchange here. You can set the flash time at the following stages: 80 ms, 100 ms, 120 ms, 180 ms, 250 ms, 300 ms, 600 ms or 800 ms. Enquire of your network provider which settings are required for your connection or read the operating instructions of your telephone system.

Changing the System-PIN Certain settings can only be changed after you have entered the PIN (personal password). The factory configuration PIN is set to "0000". With this sub-menu you can specify any four-digit PIN yourself. Please note that the system PIN is also needed for the reset. The system PIN itself is not reset to the default setting. Therefore, write down a new system PIN and save it in a safe location. If you should
forget your system PIN after all, please consult our customer service.
Open the ‘System-PIN’ sub-menu in the ‘Base Settings.’ menu.

Exchange identification code The exchange identification code is only necessary if you operate the telephone in a PABX. For external calls, you usually have to dial an exchange identification code first. Find out which exchange identification code is required for your telephone system.

Enter exchange identification code of your telephone system and confirm with MENU.
If your telephone recognises the exchange identification code at the beginning of the telephone number, it will automatically insert a pause after the exchange identification code during dialling.

System reset This function resets all of the individually performed settings at the base station back to the factory settings – with the exception of the system PIN.
Open the ‘System reset` sub-menu in the ‘Base Settings’ menu.
Enter the PIN with the number keys and confirm with MENU.
Confirm the ‘Reset?’ security question with MENU. .

Setting the date and time The date and time must be entered again after the base station has been cut off from the mains.
The setting of the date and the time is described in detail in Date and time.
Alarm In this menu option you can set an alarm for a particular time.
Open the ‘Alarm’ sub-menu in the ‘Settings’ menu.

Directory You will be able to store up to 40 phone numbers in the List of Contacts. The phone numbers can include up to 24 symbols and the names can include up to 15 symbols. You can allocate an entry to a call group. You will be able to allocate a number key as a quick dial for eight entries.
Open the List of Contacts with the key.
You will choose between the entries in the List of Contacts by
repeatedly pressing +/– or the List of Contacts key.
Press the Talk key to call a subscriber from the List of Contacts.
You will open the List of Contacts menu with MENU.

New entry You will find information about entering text and a table of the available symbols per number key at page .
You will be able to allocate the subscribers in the List of Contacts to call groups with different ring signs, so that you will already be able to recognize the group from which a subscriber is calling by the ring tone.
Open the List of Contents menu( key and MENU).
Confirm the ‘Neuer Eintrag’ [New entry] option.
Enter the name with the number keys(a maximum of 15 symbols).
Press MENU.
Enter the telephone number with the number keys (a maximum of 24 symbols).
Press MENU. The first selection of the call group will appear(‘Keine’ [None]); the ring tone associated with this group will resound at the same time.
Select a call group to which you wish to allocate the entry: ‘None’, ‘Other’, ‘VIP’, ‘Services`, „Friends“, „Work“, ‘Family’ or ‘Acquaintances’. You will be able to set up different ring tones for these groups (Changing the call group).
Confirm ‘None’ with MENU if you do not want any allocation to groups. The ring tone that has been set for external calls will be used for this non-allocation (compare Ring tone).

Copying directory entries If several handsets are registered with the same base station, you can copy all or some directory entries from one handset to another. You will need all the handsets affected for this. An entry in the List of Contacts will not be overwritten, but stored twice, if an entry in the List of Contacts already exists in the receiving handset.

Quick dialling You can assign an entry from the List of Contacts to the 2 to 9 number keys. The telephone number will be selected automatically if you then press the associated number key for longer.
Open the List of Contacts menu ( and MENU).
Select the ‘Kurzwahl’ [Quick dialling] option und press MENU.
Select the quick dial key that is intended to be occupied (keys 2 – 9)and press MENU.
The ‘No Number’ message will appear if the key is not yet assigned. Then you will be able to select an entry in the List of Contacts with +/– and to store it on the selected key with MENU.
The name of the entry from the List of Contacts will appear if the key is already assigned.
Press MENU and then select ‘Edit entry’, to select a different List of Contacts entry for the respective key, or ‘Delete’, to delete the assignment.

Joint List of Contacts Your telephone contains a second directory whose entries automatically appear on all handsets that are connected to the same base station. You can store the names and a telephone number of ten subscribers here.

Troubleshooting For appliance errors, please check first if you can eliminate the error yourself with the help of the following overview. Never try to repair the appliances yourself. If a repair is necessary, please contact our Service Centre or other qualified personnel.

Check the telephone at a different telephone socket first. Check that the battery is charged with the battery display and that the handset is correctly registered (see Registering handsets). Lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme die Anleitung aufmerksam durch. Beachten Sie die Warnungen auf dem Gerät und in der Bedienungsanleitung.
Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung immer in Reichweite auf. Wenn Sie das Gerät verkaufen oder weitergeben, händigen Sie unbedingt auch diese Anleitung und den Garantieschein aus.
Elektrische Geräte nicht in Kinderhände Kinder erkennen nicht die Gefahren, die beim Umgang mit Elektrogeräten entstehen können. Lassen Sie Kinder deshalb niemals unbeaufsichtigt elektrische Geräte benutzen. Akkus können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Bewahren Sie deshalb das Mobilteil und die Akkus für Kleinkinder unerreichbar auf. Wurde ein Akku verschluckt, muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden. Halten Sie auch die Verpackungs- und Displayschutzfolien von Kindern fern. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
Explosionsgefährdete Bereiche Verwenden Sie das Mobilteil niemals in explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung, z. B. in einer Lackiererei, oder wenn in der Umgebung Gas austritt.

Das Gerät sicher aufstellen Stellen Sie die Basisstation auf eine feste, ebene Oberfläche. Stellen Sie die Basisstation gegen Herunterfallen geschützt auf. Es dürfen keine direkten Wärmequellen (z. B. Heizungen) auf Basisstation und Mobilteil wirken. Es darf kein direktes Sonnenlicht auf die Geräte treffen. Der Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit, Wasser oder Spritzwasser muss vermieden werden. Das Gerät ist nicht für die Benutzung in Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit geeignet (z. B. Badezimmer). Stellen Sie die Basisstation nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von anderen Elektrogeräten (z. B. Fernseher oder Mikrowellengerät) auf. Stellen Sie die Basisstation nicht in unmittelbare Nähe von offenen Brandquellen (z. B. brennende Kerzen). Warten Sie mit dem Anschluss des Netzteils, wenn das Gerät von einem kalten in einen warmen Raum gebracht wird. Das dabei entstehende Kondenswasser kann das Gerät unter Umständen zerstören. Wenn das Gerät Zimmertemperatur erreicht hat, kann es gefahrlos in Betrieb genommen werden.
Netzteil Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil für die Basisstation. Das Netzteil darf nur in trockenen Räumen verwendet werden.
Netzanschluss Schließen Sie die Basisstation nur an eine gut erreichbare Steckdose (230 V ~ 50 Hz) an, die sich in der Nähe des Aufstellortes befindet.

Lassen Sie die Steckdose freizugänglich, damit das Netzteil ungehindert abgezogen werden kann. Ziehen Sie das Netzteil stets am Stecker aus der Steckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel. Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzteilkabel nicht. Stellen Sie das Mobilteil nie ohne Batteriefachdeckel in die Basisstation.
Nichtgebrauch/Gewitter Bei längerer Abwesenheit oder bei Gewitter ziehen Sie den Netzadapter aus der Steckdose und das Telefonkabel von der Basisstation ab.
Nehmen Sie bei längerem Nichtgebrauch auch unbedingt die Akkus aus dem Mobilteil, um ein Auslaufen zu vermeiden. Ein ausgelaufener Akku kann das Mobilteil beschädigen.
Sicher mit Akkus umgehen Für das Mobilteil benötigen Sie zwei Akkus. Beachten Sie hierzu folgende Hinweise:
Halten Sie Akkus von Kindern fern. sollten versehentlich Akkus verschluckt worden sein, melden Sie dies sofort Ihrem Arzt.
Werfen Sie Akkus nicht ins Feuer, schließen Sie sie nicht kurz und nehmen Sie sie nicht auseinander.
Vertauschen Sie beim Einlegen der Akkus niemals die Polarität (+/–), um Kurzschlüsse zu vermeiden.

Vermischen Sie keine neuen und alten Akkus oder Akkus unterschiedlichen Typs. Dies könnte bei Ihrem Gerät zu Fehlfunktionen führen. Darüber hinaus würde sich der schwächere Akku zu stark entladen.
Ersetzen Sie beide Akkus immer zusammen. Entfernen Sie erschöpfte Akkus umgehend aus dem Gerät! Es
besteht erhöhte Auslaufgefahr! Setzen Sie Akkus niemals übermäßiger Wärme, wie direkter
Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuer oder dergleichen aus. Legen Sie das Gerät z. B. nicht auf Heizkörpern ab! Es besteht erhöhte Auslaufgefahr!
Vermeiden Sie starke Stöße und Erschütterungen. Nehmen Sie einen ausgelaufenen Akku sofort aus dem Gerät.
Reinigen Sie die Kontakte, bevor Sie einen neuen Akku einlegen. Es besteht Verätzungsgefahr durch Batteriesäure!
Zerlegen oder verformen Sie die Akkus nicht. Ihre Hände oder Finger könnten verletzt werden.
Sollte Batteriesäure ausgelaufen sein, vermeiden Sie unbedingt den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten! Ausgelaufene Batterieflüssigkeit kann Hautausschlag verursachen. Falls die Säure doch mit Haut in Kontakt gekommen ist, spülen Sie die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit reichlich klarem Wasser und suchen Sie umgehend einen Arzt auf.
Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden, nehmen Sie die Akkus heraus.
Isolieren Sie die Kontakte der Akkus mit einem Klebestreifen, wenn Sie die Akkus lagern oder entsorgern wollen.

Niemals selbst reparieren Ziehen Sie bei Beschädigungen der Netzadapter, der Anschlussleitungen oder der Basisstation sofort den Netzadapter aus der Steckdose.
Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, das Gerät selber zu öffnen und/oder zu reparieren. Es besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags. Wenden Sie sich im Störungsfall an das Medion Service Center oder eine andere geeignete Fachwerkstatt.
Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Geräts beschädigt wird, muss der Netzadapter verschrottet und durch einen Netzadapter des gleichen Typs ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Wenden Sie sich in diesem Fall an das Medion Service Center.
Was ist DECT? DECT (Digital European Cordless Telecommunication) ist der Standard für schnurlose digitale Telefone und schnurlose Telekommunikationsanlagen, der von der europäischen Standardisierungsbehörde ETSI (Europäisches Institut für Telekommunikationsnormen) definiert wurde. Heutzutage ist DECT hauptsächlich für Schnurlostelefone im Privatbereich in Gebrauch, obwohl DECT sehr viel mehr kann.

Geschichte Im Jahre 1988 stand das neugegründete European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) vor der Aufgabe, einen europäischen Standard für digitale Schnurlostelefone zu definieren. Es gab bereits einen britischen (CT2) und einen schwedischen Standard (CT3), doch die ETSI entschied sich zur Schaffung eines komplett neuen Standards, der viel weiter gehen sollte. Dies war die Geburtsstunde von DECT.
Im Juni 1991 gingen die wichtigsten Teile des Standards in die Phase der öffentlichen Kommentierung und bereits 1992 gab es die ersten DECT-Geräte im Handel.
Einen weiteren Schub bekam DECT 1994 durch die Definition des Generic Access Profil (GAP), das es ermöglichte, dass Geräte verschiedener Hersteller miteinander kombiniert werden konnten. Heutzutage sind alle DECT-Geräte überwiegend GAP-kompatibel.
Die Arbeit an DECT geht dabei immer weiter. Ständig werden neue Erweiterungen bei der ETSI definiert.
DECT beschreibt ein Mobilfunksystem, dessen fester Teil aus einer oder mehreren Basisstationen besteht. Das Gegenüber hierzu ist die Mobilstation. Es ist möglich, mehrere Mobilstationen zu verwenden, also z. B. mehrere Schnurlostelefone innerhalb einer Wohnung oder eines Büros.
Es ist auch möglich, mehrere Basisstationen in einem festen Mobilfunksystem zu verwenden, so dass eine größere Fläche (Gebäudekomplex) versorgt werden kann, oder mehrere Gespräche

gleichzeitig geführt werden können. Die Basisstationen werden dann durch ein internes Steuermodul (Fixed Part Controller) gesteuert.
Verbreitung DECT wurde als europäischer Standard für Schnurlostelefone definiert.
Inzwischen hat sich die Welt geändert: Neben Sprache werden heutzutage auch zunehmend Daten übertragen, sowohl im Bürobereich als auch zu Hause.
Gleichzeitig trat DECT aber auch seinen Siegeszug rund um die Welt an: Nicht nur in Europa, sondern auch auf anderen Kontinenten wurde DECT aufgrund seiner Universalität akzeptiert. Die Regulierungsbehörden von Australien, Hongkong, China und den USA (unter dem Namen PWT) standardisierten DECT für ihre Gebiete, teilweise in anderen Frequenzbereichen. Inzwischen sind DECT-Varianten in über 100 Ländern im Einsatz.

Vorbereitung
Aufstellen
Stellen Sie die Basisstation auf eine ebene, feste Oberfläche.
Einige aggressive Möbellacke können die Gummifüße der Basisstation angreifen. Stellen Sie die Basisstation ggfs. auf eine Unterlage.
Stellen Sie die Basisstation in einer praktischen Arbeitshöhe und gegen Herunterfallen gesichert auf.
Stellen Sie die Basisstation in der Nähe einer Steckdose und einer Telefonanschluss-Dose auf.
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt der Geräte mit Feuchtigkeit oder Flüssigkeiten.
Stellen Sie die Basisstation nicht in unmittelbare Nähe anderer Elektrogeräte (z. B. Fernsehern).

Akkus in das Mobilteil einlegen Für das Mobilteil werden zwei Nickel-Metallhydrid-Akkus „AAA“ 600 mAh mitgeliefert.
ACHTUNG! Benutzen Sie im Mobilteil nur Nickel-Metallhybrid-Akkus des mitgelieferten Typs (NiMH; 1.2 V; 600 mAh). Die Garantie des Gerätes erlischt, wenn Sie andere Akkus einlegen. Das Mobilteil könnte beschädigt werden.
Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel auf der Rückseite des Mobilteils nach unten ab.
Legen Sie die beiden Akkus unter Beachtung der Polarität (+/–) in das Batteriefach (der Minus-Pol liegt jeweils an der Feder an).
Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder auf das Batteriefach.

Netzteil an die Basisstation anschließen Verwenden Sie zum Anschluss des Basisteils nur den mitgelieferten Netzadapter, Modell Nr.: S005CV0600060. Auf dem Netzteil befindet sich ein Typenschild mit den entsprechenden Angaben.
Verbinden Sie den Stecker des Netzadapterkabels mit dem rechten Anschluss an der Basisstation.
Sichern Sie den Stecker gegen Herausfallen, indem Sie das Kabel hinter der Kabelhalterung herführen.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Netzadapters in eine leicht zugängliche Netzsteckdose.

Akku laden
Wichtige Ginweise zur Akkuladung / Erstbetrieb!
Schließen Sie die Basisstation erst ans Telefonnetz an, wenn das Mobilteil vollständig aufgeladen ist. Ansonsten erreicht der Akku nicht seine volle Leistung.
Die Ladezeit im Erstbetrieb beträgt ca. 20 Stunden. Unterbrechen Sie den Ladevorgang nichtm da sonst die Leistung des Akkus dauerhaft verringert werden kann. Während der Akku aufgeladen wird, können Sie mit dem Mobilteil noch nicht telefonieren. Die Akkus erreichen die beste Leistung, wenn sie am Anfang (für ca. eine Woche) mehrmals ganz entleert und wieder vollständig geladen werden. Lassen Sie das Mobilteil zum Entladen außerhalb der Basis. Die weiteren Ladevorgänge dauern dann ca. 6 bis 8 Stunden. Stellen Sie das Mobilteil nie ohne Batteriefachdeckel in die Basis- bzw. Ladestation.
Sie können das Mobilteil ständig in der Basis- bzw. Ladestation belassen. So sichern Sie den maximalen Ladezustand.
Die Leistung des Akkus reicht für 10 Stunden Gespräch oder 100 Stunden Bereitschaftsbetrieb aus. Anschließend muss der Akku neu aufgeladen werden.

Akku in der Basisstation laden
Setzen Sie das Mobilteil in die Ladeschale der Basisstation und laden Sie den Akku.
Ein Piepton signalisiert, dass das Mobilteil richtig in der Schale sitzt.

Das Display
Displaysprache Im Auslieferungszustand ist die Displaysprache deutsch. Sie können die Displaysprache auch auf Englisch und Türkisch einstellen

Sprache.
Akkuanzeige Das Symbol für den Akku ist in vier Felder aufgeteilt. Sie zeigen den jeweiligen Füllungszustand der Akkus an (voll, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 und leer).
Wenn der Akku leer oder fast leer ist, blinkt die Akkuanzeige und das Mobilteil muss in die Basisstation gestellt werden, damit der Akku geladen werden kann.
Wenn die Akkuladung zu Ende geht, erklingt außerdem alle 60 Sekunden ein Signalton. Dieser Signalton ist abschaltbar (Hinweistöne).
Reichweitenanzeige Wenn sich das Mobilteil außerhalb der Reichweite oder nicht angemeldet ist, erscheint im Display die Meldung „Suche ...“.

Datum und Uhrzeit Datum und Uhrzeit sind notwendig, damit der Anrufbeantworter Nachrichten richtig speichern kann.
So stellen Sie Datum und Uhrzeit ein:
1. Drücken Sie MENÜ.
2. Gehen Sie durch wiederholtes Drücken der Taste – (an der Geräteseite) zum Menü „Einstellungen“ und drücken Sie MENÜ.
3. Es erscheint der Eintrag „Mobilt. einstellen“. Gehen Sie durch wiederholtes Drücken der Taste – zum Menüpunkt „Zeit/Datum“ und drükken Sie MENÜ.
4. Es erscheint der Eintrag „Zeitformat“. Drücken Sie MENÜ.

6. Drücken Sie MENÜ. Das Format wird gespeichert.

Allgemeine Funktionen
Mobilteil ein- und ausschalten
Um das Mobilteil auszuschalten, müssen Sie es aus der Basisstation nehmen.
Halten Sie die Hörertaste für einige Sekunden gedrückt. Im Display erscheint „MT aus?“.
Bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ. Das Display geht aus.
Um das Mobilteil wieder einzuschalten, drücken Sie die Hörertaste kurz. Nach kurzer Zeit ist die Standardanzeige wieder im Display zu sehen.
Sie können das Mobilteil auch einschalten, indem Sie es zurück in die Basisstation stellen.
Tastensperre Um ein versehentliches Wählen zu verhindern, wenn Sie das Mobilteil bei sich tragen, können Sie die Tastensperre einschalten. Dies ist nicht während eines Gesprächs möglich.
Halten Sie die Raute-Taste # gedrückt, bis der Eintrag „Tastatur aus“ im Display erscheint.
Wenn die Tastensperre eingeschaltet ist, können Sie die Notrufnummern 110 und 112 weiterhin nutzen.
Auch können Sie weiterhin Anrufe entgegennehmen.

Um die Tastensperre wieder auszuschalten, halten Sie wiederum die Raute-Taste # gedrückt, bis „Tastensperre ein“ im Display erscheint.
Mobilteil rufen
Wenn Sie das Mobilteil von der Basisstation rufen oder es suchen wollen, drücken Sie die Ruftaste an der Basisstation.
An den Mobilteilen wird ein Rufsignal ausgelöst und es erscheint die Anzeige „Paging“.
Stoppen Sie das Rufsignal mit der Hörertaste .

Telefonieren
Anruf entgegennehmen Wenn ein Anruf eingeht, hören Sie den Rufton. Im Display erscheint entweder „Externanruf“ oder die Rufnummer des Anrufers oder der Name, falls der Name mit dieser Nummer im Telefonbuch gespeichert ist.
Außerdem blinkt die Telefon-LED an der Basisstation.
HINWEIS: Diese Rufnummernanzeige kann nach Netzanbieter und Art des Telefonanschlusses abweichen oder nicht verfügbar sein.
Um einen Anruf entgegen zu nehmen, wenn das Mobilteil in der Ladeschale steht, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Heben Sie das Mobilteil aus der Ladeschale oder drücken Sie die Gesprächstaste , um das Telefon in den Freisprech-Modus zu schalten.
Um den Anruf entgegen zu nehmen, wenn das Mobilteil nicht in der Ladeschale steht, drücken Sie die Gesprächstaste .
HINWEIS: Sie können das Mobilteil so einstellen, dass Sie zum Entgegennehmen eines Anrufs immer die Gesprächstaste drücken müssen (siehe Automatische Annahme).

Hörerlautstärke ändern
Drücken Sie während eines Gesprächs die Tasten + oder – . Im Display erscheint die Anzeige „Lautst.“. Sie können Sie in fünf Stufen einstellen.
Stummschaltung
Um das Mikrofon während des Gesprächs auszuschalten, so dass Ihr Gesprächspartner Sie nicht hören kann, drücken Sie während des Gesprächs die Taste ZURüCK. Es erscheint der Eintrag „Stumm“.
Drücken Sie die Taste ZURüCK noch einmal, um das Mikrofon wieder einzuschalten.
Gespräch beenden
Um einen Anruf zu beenden, drücken Sie die Hörer- Taste oder stellen das Mobilteil in die Ladeschale.
Nachdem Sie aufgelegt haben, wird die Dauer des letzten Gesprächs angezeigt. Nach kurzer Zeit wechselt das Display zur Normalanzeige.

Kurzwahl Die Tasten 2 bis 9 des Telefons können mit Nummern aus dem Telefonbuch belegt werden.
Halten Sie die Taste dann etwas länger gedrückt, um die entsprechende Nummer zu wählen.

Direktwahl Die Direktwahl muss im Telefonmenü aktiviert werden (Direktwahl ) . Sie benötigen dazu die PIN.
Wenn der Direktruf aktiviert ist (im Display erscheint „Direkt-w.“), können Sie durch Drücken einer beliebigen Taste eine vorher gespeicherte Telefonnummer wählen.
Die Taste MENÜ wird nicht für die Direktwahl benutzt. Sie behält die Menüfunktion.
Kurz/lang drücken
Die Tasten ZURÜCK, Gespräch ., Hörer , Telefonbuch und Int müssen kurz gedrückt werden, um die Rufnummer zu wählen.
Die Zifferntasten sowie die Stern- und Rautetaste und die Taste R müssen etwas länger gedrückt werden, um die Rufnummer zu wählen.
Wenn diese Tasten kurz gedrückt werden, erscheint „Tastatur aus“, weil die Tastatur für den kurzen Tastendruck gesperrt ist.

Intern anrufen Falls an der Basisstation mehrere Mobilteile angemeldet sind (siehe Mobilteil anmelden) , können Sie von Ihrem Mobilteil alle anderen Mobilteile derselben Basisstation anrufen, ohne Gebühren zu bezahlen.
Drücken Sie die Taste Int. Im Display werden alle anderen Mobilteile, die an der Basisstation registriert sind, angezeigt (MT1 - 5).
Wählen Sie das gewünschte Mobilteil mit den Tasten links oder rechts aus und drücken Sie die Gesprächstaste .
Das gewünschte Mobilteil wird jetzt gerufen.

Weitere Funktionen
Freisprechmodus (frei sprechen) Im Freisprechmodus können Sie telefonieren, ohne das Mobilteil in der Hand halten zu müssen.
Drücken Sie während des Gesprächs die Gesprächstaste . Im Display erscheint „Lautsprecher ein“.
Sie können jetzt über den Lautsprecher an der Rückseite des Mobilteils telefonieren.
Um die Lautstärke anzupassen, drücken Sie während eines Gesprächs die Tasten + oder – . Im Display erscheint die Anzeige „Lautst.“. Sie können Sie in fünf Stufen einstellen
Um wieder in den normalen Telefonmodus zu wechseln, drücken Sie erneut die Gesprächstaste . Der Lautsprecher wird ausgeschaltet.
Rückfragetaste Die R-Taste hat nur eine Funktion, wenn Ihr Telefon an eine Telefonanlage angeschlossen ist.
Die R-Taste unterbricht die Leitungsverbindung für einige Millisekunden. Die Länge der Unterbrechung wird mit der Funktion Flash-Zeit (siehe

Flash-Zeit) eingestellt. Durch diese Unterbrechung wird der Vermittlungsstelle signalisiert, dass es sich bei den folgenden Tönen im Mehrfrequenzwahl-Verfahren um Kommandos an die Vermittlungsstelle handelt.
Typische Anwendungen für die R-Taste sind z. B. Anklopfen, Rückfragen, Makeln, Dreierkonferenz mit mindestens zwei externen Teilnehmern.
Bitte beachten Sie jedoch, dass diese Funktionen von Ihrem Telefonanbieter (nicht vom Telefon) realisiert werden. Erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrem Netzbetreiber, welche Funktionen Sie mit der R-Taste ausführen können. Fragen Sie auch nach den genauen Tastenkombinationen für die verschiedenen R-Tasten-Funktionen (z. B.: „Anklopfenden annehmen“, „Anklopfenden abweisen“, „Zwischen zwei Verbindungen hin- und herschalten“ etc).
Tonruf ausschalten
Halten Sie die Stern-Taste * länger gedrückt, um den Rufton auszuschalten. Es erscheint der Eintrag „Tonruf aus“.
Bei einem Anruf erklingt jetzt kein Ton, sondern es blinkt nur die Telefon-LED an der Basis und im Display des Mobilteils erscheint „Externanruf“.
Halten Sie die Stern-Taste * länger gedrückt, um den Rufton wieder einzuschalten. Es erscheint der Eintrag „Tonruf ein“.

Rufnummernanzeige Sie können im Display die Rufnummer eines Anrufers sehen, wenn Sie selbst bei Ihrem Telefonanbieter die CLIP-Funktion beauftragt haben und der Anrufer ebenfalls über einen Telefonanschluss mit CLIP-Funktion verfügt und er seine Rufnummer nicht unterdrückt.
Abhängig von Ihrem Netzbetreiber können Sie ebenfalls Ihre Telefonnummer unterdrücken. Falls Sie dies wünschen, erkundigen Sie sich bitte bei Ihrem Netzbetreiber, wie Sie dazu verfahren müssen.
Anrufliste Anrufe werden nur dann in die Anrufliste gespeichert, – wenn der Anrufbeantworter nicht aufnimmt; – wenn das Telefon des Anrufers über das Leistungsmerkmal CLIP verfügt (die Nummer des Anrufers im Display zu sehen ist).
Es werden maximal 20 Einträge mit je bis zu 15 Zeichen in die Anrufliste aufgenommen. Der 21. Anruf löscht den ersten Anruf usw. Im Display erscheint die Meldung „Neuer Anruf“.
Drücken Sie im Ruhezustand die Taste –. Wenn keine Anrufe gespeichert sind, wird „Liste leer“ angezeigt.
Wenn Anrufe gespeichert sind, können Sie sie mit den Tasten +/– auswählen. Falls die Anrufer im Telefonbuch gespeichert sind, erscheint statt der Nummer der Name.

Details anzeigen Unter den Details sehen Sie entweder alle oder nur die unbeantworteten Anrufe. Die Voreinstellung hierfür wird „Anrufart“, siehe Anrufart, getroffen.

Mit mehreren Gesprächspartnern telefonieren HINWEIS: Die folgenden Funktionen sind nur verfügbar, wenn mindestens ein zusätzliches, GAP-fähiges Mobilteil an der Basisstation angemeldet ist.
Anrufe weiter vermitteln Sie können ein Gespräch entgegennehmen und danach an ein zusätzliches, GAP-fähiges Mobilteil derselben Basisstation weiter vermitteln.
Drücken Sie während des Gesprächs die Taste Int.
Wenn nur ein weiteres Mobilteil angemeldet ist, klingelt dieses jetzt.
Wenn mehrere weitere Mobilteile angemeldet sind, können Sie sie mit den Tasten +/– auswählen und dann MENÜ drücken, um es anzurufen.
Wenn jemand am angerufenen Mobilteil antwortet, drücken Sie am eigenen Mobilteil die Hörertaste (legen Sie auf), um das Gespräch weiterzuleiten.

Makeln und Telefonkonferenz führen Wenn ein zweites Mobilteil das Gespräch wie oben beschrieben entgegennimmt, können Sie zwischen den drei Teilnehmern makeln oder eine Telefonkonferenz führen.
Makeln
Wenn am zweiten Mobilteil jemand geantwortet hat, drücken Sie MENÜ. Sie wechseln damit zwischen der Verbindung mit dem Anrufer und der Person am anderen Mobilteil.
Telefonkonferenz Eine Telefonkonferenz ist zwischen einem externen und zwei internen Teilnehmern möglich.
Wenn am zweiten Mobilteil jemand geantwortet hat, muss der Teilnehmer an diesem zweiten Mobilteil MENÜ drücken. Jetzt sind alle Teilnehmer in das Gespräch einbezogen.
Während der Konferenz können Sie zwischen der Konferenz und dem Einzelgespräch mit dem Teilnehmer am anderen Mobilteil wechseln.
Drücken Sie MENÜ und wählen Sie dann mit +/– den Eintrag „Einzelgespräch“.
Drücken Sie wieder MENÜ, um nur mit dem Teilnehmer am anderen Mobilteil zu sprechen.
Auf die gleiche Weise können Sie über den Eintrag „Konf.“ zur Konferenz zurückkehren.

Jeder einzelne Teilnehmer kann sich von der Telefonkonferenz trennen, indem er die Hörertaste drückt (auflegt). Die anderen Gesprächsteilnehmer können dann die Telefonkonferenz weiter führen.

Im Menü bewegen Sie sich vor allem mit den Tasten MENÜ und +/- an der Geräteseite.
Vom Grunddisplay aus öffnen Sie mit MENÜ das Menü und die Unterpunkte des Menüs.
Jede gewählte Option oder getroffene Einstellung muss mit
der Taste MENÜ bestätigt werden (Funktion „OK“). Das Telefon quitiert eine neue Einstellung mit der Meldung „Gespeichert“. Das Telefonmenü hat mehrere Ebenen (s.a. Tabelle unten). Wenn Sie mit
der Taste MENÜ vom Hauptmenü (Ebene 1) zu einem Untermenü (Ebene 2) gegangen sind und von dort wiederum eine Ebene tiefer (Ebene 3),

Der Anrufbeantworter Mit dem Anrufbeantworter können Sie in Ihrer Abwesenheit eingehende Anrufe aufzeichnen oder dem Anrufer eine Nachricht übermitteln.
Das Telefon kann bis zu 99 Nachrichten mit einer Gesamtlänge von 15 Minuten aufnehmen.
Der Anrufbeantworter fügt jeder Nachricht automatisch das Datum und die Uhrzeit hinzu. Daher müssen Sie Datum und Uhrzeit einstellen, um den Anrufbeantworter richtig nutzen zu können. Wenn Sie Datum und Uhrzeit
nicht eingestellt haben, erscheint im Display der Basisstation „– –:– –“ . Die Angaben von Datum und Uhrzeit bei den Nachrichten sind in diesem Fall falsch. Stellen Sie Datum und Uhrzeit am Mobilteil ein.

Ein- und ausschalten
An der Basisstation
Um den Anrufbeantworter ein- oder auszuschalten, drücken Sie die
Ein-/Aus-Taste an der Basisstation. Bei ausgeschaltetem Anrufbeantworter zeigt das Display: „– –“, ggf.
abwechselnd mit der Anzahl neuer Nachrichten.
Bei eingeschaltetem Anrufbeantworter zeigt das Display die Anzahl der gespeicherten Nachrichten; im Auslieferungszustand: „0“.
Am Mobilteil Um den Anrufbeantworter mit dem Mobilteil auszuschalten, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Wählen Sie das Menü „Anrufbeantworter“.
Wählen Sie das Untermenü „Anrufb. ein/aus“.
Um den Anrufbeantworter auszuschalten, wählen Sie die Option „Aus“ und drücken Sie MENÜ.
Um den Anrufbeantworter wieder einzuschalten, wählen Sie die Option „Ein“ und drücken Sie MENÜ.

Nachrichten hören Der Anrufbeantworter unterscheidet zwischen bereits abgehörten („alten“) Nachrichten und Nachrichten, die noch nicht abgehört wurden („neue Nachrichten“).
Wenn auf dem Anrufbeantworter neue Nachrichten aufgezeichnet sind, erscheint im Display die Meldung „AB neu“. Im Display der Basisstation blinkt die Anzahl der gespeicherten Nachrichten.
Wenn Sie Nachrichten abhören, werden immer zuerst die neuen Nachrichten wiedergegeben.
„Neue“ (noch nicht abgehörte Nachrichten können nicht gelöscht werden.

Um Nachrichten abzuhören, drücken Sie die Wiedergabetaste an der Basisstation.
Die aufgezeichneten Nachrichten werden jetzt wiedergegeben.

Um die Wiedergabe zu beenden, drücken Sie wiederum die Stopp-Taste .
Die Wiedergabe wird beendet.
Um eine Nachricht zu überspringen, drücken Sie die Sprungtaste nach vorne .
Um eine Nachricht erneut abzuhören, drücken Sie die Sprungtaste rückwärts einmal.
Um die vorherigen Nachricht zu hören, drücken Sie die Sprungtaste rückwärts zweimal.
Um die aktuelle Nachricht zu löschen, drücken Sie .
Wenn Sie nach dem Anhören aller Nachrichten innerhalb von acht Sekunden drücken, löschen Sie alle Nachrichten.
Um die Lautstärke während der Wiedergabe zu ändern, drücken Sie die Tasten + oder – an der Basisstation.

Nachrichten vom Mobilteil abhören
Wählen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ den Eintrag „Nachr. hören“ an und drücken Sie MENÜ.
Die Zahl der Nachrichten wird angesagt.
Außerdem erscheinen die Aufnahmedaten der neuen und alten Nachrichten: Datum und Zeit sowie Name (wenn der Teilnehmer im Telefonbuch gespeichert ist) oder Nummer (wenn Sie selbst bei Ihrem Telefonanbieter die CLIP-Funktion beauftragt haben und der Anrufer ebenfalls über einen Telefonanschluss mit CLIP-Funktion verfügt und er seine Rufnummer nicht unterdrückt).
„Neue“ (noch nicht abgehörte) Nachrichten sind mit einem Sternchen * gekennzeichnet.
Wählen Sie eine Nachricht an und drücken Sie MENÜ, um die Nachricht wiederzugeben.
Optionen während der Wiedergabe am Mobilteil
Während der Wiedergabe können Sie mit +/– die Lautstärke einstellen.
Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe die Gesprächstaste , um die Nachrichten über den Lautsprecher auszugeben.

Ansage aufnehmen Sie können für jeden Beantwortungs-Modus (s. o.) eine Ansage aufzeichnen. Diese Ansagen können bis zu eine Minute lang sein.
Ihre eigene Ansage löscht die voreingestellten Ansagetexte. Um nach einer neuen Aufnahme die voreingestellten Ansagetext wiederherzustellen, müssen Sie ein System-Reset durchführen (siehe System-Reset).
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Einstellungen“ und da die Option „Ansagen“.
Wählen Sie die Option „Neue Ansage“.
Wählen Sie die Option „Mit Aufz.“ oder „Ohne Aufz.“. Sie werden nun aufgefordert, nach dem Signalton Ihre Ansage aufzusprechen.
Sprechen Sie den Text in normaler Lautstärke in das Mikrofon des Mobilteils. Er kann maximale eine Minute lang sein.
Wenn Sie die Aufzeichnung löschen wollen, drücken Sie ZURÜCK.
Drücken Sie MENÜ. Zur Kontrolle wird Ihre Ansage nach dem Ende der Aufnahme wiederholt.

Einstellungen im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“
Antwortmodus (mit oder ohne Aufzeichnung)
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Einstellungen“.
Wählen Sie hier die Option „Antwortmodus“. „Mit Aufnahme.“: der Anrufbeantworter beantwortet den Anruf und
zeichnet Nachrichten auf;
„Ohne Aufnahme.“: der Anrufbeantworter beantwortet den Anruf, ohne eine Nachricht aufzuzeichnen.
Wählen Sie die gewünschte Einstellung und bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ.
Verzögerung Sie können die Anzahl der Rufsignale einstellen, nach denen der Anrufbeantworter eingeschaltet wird. Sie können zwischen 2, 4, 6 und 8 Rufsignalen und dem „Sparmodus“ wählen.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Einstellungen“ und da die Option „Verzögerung“.
Wählen Sie die gewünschte Anzahl der Rufsignale oder den Sparmodus und bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ.

Sparmodus Im Sparmodus können Sie beim Abhören des Anrufbeantworters von außen Verbindungskosten vermeiden. Bei der Fernabfrage schaltet sich der Anrufbeantworter im Sparmodus nach 10 Sekunden an, wenn Sie neue Nachrichten haben. Wenn Sie keine neuen Nachrichten haben, schaltet er erst nach 20 Sekunden an. Wenn der Anrufbeantworter also nach 10 Sekunden nicht eingeschaltet hat, wissen Sie, dass keine neuen Nachrichten da sind und Sie können auflegen.
Aufnahme-Zeit Sie können einstellen, wie lang die Nachricht auf dem Anrufbeantworter sein darf. Voreingestellt sind 60 Sekunden. Die Gesamtaufnahmezeit beträgt 15 Minuten.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Einstellungen“ und da die Option „Aufnahmezeit“.
Wählen Sie „30s.“, „60s.“, „120 s“ oder „180 s“ und bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ.

Mithören Mit der Funktion „Mithören“ können Sie einen Anruf mithören, ohne die Aufzeichnung der Nachricht auf dem Anrufbeantworter zu unterbrechen. Diese Funktion ist z. B. hilfreich, wenn Sie zuerst hören wollen, wer der Anrufer ist.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Einstellungen“ und da die Option „Mithören“.
Wählen Sie „Ein“ oder „Aus“ und bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ. Bei aktivierter Mithören-Funktion erscheint bei einem Anruf, wenn sich der Anrufbeantworter einschaltet, die Meldung „Mithören?“ im Display des Mobilteils.
Drücken Sie dann die Taste MENÜ, um den Anrufer zu hören.
Um den Anruf entgegenzunehmen, drücken Sie die Gesprächstaste am Mobilteil.
Signalton Bei aktiviertem Signalton sendet die Basisstation alle 60 Sekunden einen Ton aus, wenn neue Nachrichten eingegangen sind.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Einstellungen“ und da die Option „Signalton“.
Wählen Sie „Ein“ oder „Aus“ und bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ.

Fernabfrage Sie können den Anrufbeantworter von jedem Telefon mit Tonwahl abhören. Dazu benötigen Sie eine vierstellige PIN-Nummer.
Werkseitig ist die PIN auf „0000“ eingestellt. Diese PIN ist nicht mit der System-PIN (siehe Sys) identisch.
Einschalten
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Fernabfrage“ und da die Option „Einschalten“.
Sie können die Fernabfrage jetzt von einem anderen Telefon aus vornehmen.
Fernabfrage-PIN ändern
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Fernabfrage“ und da die Option „PIN eingeben“.
Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten die alte PIN ein.
Drücken Sie MENÜ und geben Sie eine neue vierstellige PIN ein.
Drücken Sie MENÜ und geben Sie diese PIN noch einmal ein. Die neue PIN wird gespeichert.
Ausschalten
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Anrufbeantworter“ das Untermenü „Fernabfrage“ und da die Option „Ausschalten“ und bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ.

Nachrichten von einem anderen Telefonanschluss aus abhören Um den Anrufbeantworter von einem anderen Telefon abzuhören, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Wählen Sie die Rufnummer Ihres Anschlusses.

Mobilteil einstellen
Tonruf Sie können die Rufmelodie für das Mobilteil festlegen, die bei externen Anrufen oder internen Anrufen ertönt. So können Sie bereits am Rufsignal erkennen, ob der Anrufer von außerhalb anruft oder an derselben Basisstation registriert ist.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Mobilteil einstellen“ die Option „Tonruf“. Extern

Direktwahl Bei der Direktwahl führt das Drücken einer beliebigen Taste (mit Ausnahme der Taste MENÜ) zur Wahl einer bestimmten, vorher gespeicherten Nummer.

Automatische Annahme

Mobilteil anmelden
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Mobilteil einstellen“ die Option „Mobilteil anmelden“.
Es werden vier Basisstationen angeboten. Im Auslieferungzustand ist die erste Basis mit Mobilteil 1 belegt. Sie können bis zu fünf Mobilteile an einer Basis anmelden.
Wählen Sie eine Basisstation und bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ. Im Display erscheint: „Anmeldung läuft ...“.

Mobilteil auswählen
Bestätigen Sie den Eintrag „Mobilteil wählen“.
Wählen Sie ein Mobilteil aus.
Legen Sie im nächsten Schritt die Verzögerung fest, nach der das Mobilteil klingeln soll: 2, 4, 6 oder 8 Rufsignale.
Bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ und legen Sie gegebenenfalls auch für weitere Mobilteile eine Ruf-Verzögerung fest.
Wahlverfahren Hier können Sie Ihr Telefon an das Wahlverfahren Ihres Netzbetreibers anpassen.
Die Werkseinstellung ist „Tonwahl“. Das ist das heutzutage gebräuchliche Wahlverfahren und deshalb voreingestellt. Die Impulswahl kann bei einigen älteren Telefonanlagen notwendig sein.
Erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrem Netzbetreiber, welches Wahlverfahren an Ihrem Anschluss erforderlich ist.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Basis einst.“ das Untermenü „Wahlverfahr.“.
Wählen Sie hier „Tonwahl“ oder „Impulswahl“.

Flash-Zeit Hier können Sie Ihr Telefon an die Vorgaben Ihres Netzbetreibers oder Ihrer Nebenstellenanlage anpassen. Sie können die Flash-Zeit in folgenden Stufen einstellen: 80 ms,100 ms,120 ms,180 ms, 250 ms, 300 ms, 600 ms, 800 ms.
Fragen Sie Ihren Netzbetreiber oder lesen Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihrer Telefonanlage, welche Einstellung an Ihrem Anschluss erforderlich ist.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Basis einst.“ das Untermenü „Flash-Zeit“.
Wählen Sie hier einen der folgenden Werte: 80 ms, 100 ms, 120 ms, 180 ms, 250 ms, 300 ms, 600 ms, 800 ms. Voreingestellt sind 250 ms.
Ältere Telefonanlagen benötigen typischerweise 80 ms.
System-PIN ändern Bestimmte Einstellungen können nur verändert werden, nachdem Sie die PIN (persönliches Kennwort) eingegeben haben. Werkseitig ist die PIN „0000“ voreingestellt. In diesem Untermenü können Sie selbst eine beliebige vierstellige PIN vorgeben.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die System-PIN auch für das Rücksetzen (Reset) benötigt wird. Die System-PIN selbst wird nicht in den Lieferzustand zurückgesetzt. Notieren Sie sich also eine neue System-PIN und heben Sie sie an einem sicheren Ort auf. Wenn Sie die neue System-PIN dennoch vergessen haben sollten,

Amtskennziffer Die Amtskennziffer wird nur benötigt, wenn Sie das Telefon an einer Telefonanlage betreiben. Für externe Gespräche muss dann in der Regel eine Amtskennziffer vorweg gewählt werden.
Stellen Sie fest, welche Amtskennziffer für Ihre Telefonanlage benötigt wird.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Basis einst.“ das Untermenü „Amtskennz.“.
Geben Sie die Amtskennziffer Ihrer Telefonanlage ein und bestätigen Sie mit MENÜ.
Wenn Ihr Telefon die Amtskennziffer am Anfang der Telefonnummer erkennt, fügt es nach der Amtskennziffer beim Wählen automatisch eine Pause ein.

ECO-Mode Der ECO-Mode ermöglicht einen strahlungsarmen Betrieb während eines Gesprächs. Die Strahlungsreduzierung hängt von der Entfernung des Mobilteils zur Basis ab.
Öffnen Sie im Menü „Basis einst.“ das Untermenü „ECO Mode“.
Wählen Sie „Ein“ oder „Aus“. Bei ausgeschaltetem ECO-Mode wird die Reichweite geringfügig erhöht.
System-Reset Mit dieser Funktion setzen Sie sämtliche individuell vorgenommenen Einstellungen an der Basisstation – mit Ausnahme der System-PIN – wieder in den Auslieferungszustand zurück.

Datum und Zeit einstellen Datum und Uhrzeit müssen neu eingegeben werden, wenn die Basisstation vom Stromnetz getrennt war.

Bestätigen Sie die Option „Neuer Eintrag“.
Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten den Namen ein (maximal 15 Zeichen).

Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten die Rufnummer ein (maximal 24 Zeichen).
Drücken Sie MENÜ. Es erscheint die erste Auswahl zur Anrufgruppe („Keine“); gleichzeitig erklingt der zu dieser Gruppe gehörende Rufton.
Wählen Sie eine Anrufgruppe aus, der Sie den Eintrag zuordnen möchten: „Keine“, „Andere“, „VIP“, „Dienste“, „Freunde“ „Firma“, „Familie“ oder „Bekannte“. Für diese Gruppen können Sie verschiedene Ruftöne einrichten (Anrufgruppe ändern).
Wenn Sie keine Gruppenzuordnung möchten, bestätigen Sie „Keine“ mit MENÜ. Für diese Zuordnung gilt der Rufton, der für externe Anrufe eingestellt wurde (vgl. Tonruf).

Kurzwahl Sie können die Zifferntasten 2 bis 9 mit einem Eintrag aus dem Telefonbuch belegen. Wenn Sie dann die entsprechende Zifferntaste länger drücken, wird die Telefonnummer automatisch gewählt.

„Details“: Lassen Sie sich auch die Rufnummer zu dem Eintrag anzeigen.
„Eintrag löschen“: Löschen Sie den Eintrag.
„Ändern“: Sie können nacheinander Namen und Rufnummer ändern.
„Alle löschen“: Löschen Sie alle Einträge. Der Eintrag „Leer“ bleibt erhalten.

Texteingabe/verfügbare Zeichen
Hinweise zur Texteingabe Wenn Ziffern- oder Buchstabeneingaben erforderlich sind, erscheint vor dem einzugebenden Zeichen ein blinkender Textcursor. Z. B. im Telefonbuch:
Bei Texteingaben drücken Sie die Zifferntaste für eine Buchstabengruppe so oft, bis das gewünschte Zeichen erscheint.
Tippen Sie die Zeichen zügig, aber nicht zu schnell, damit der Textcursor eine Stelle weiter gehen kann.
Beispiel: Sie wollen den Eintrag „Müller“ schreiben. M: Taste 6 / MNO einmal drücken Ü: Taste 8 / TUV fünfmal drücken L: Taste 5 / JKL dreimal drücken L: Taste 5 / JKL dreimal drücken E: Taste 3 / DEF zweimal drücken R: Taste 7 / PQRS dreimal drücken

Wenn Störungen auftreten Bei einer Störung des Geräts prüfen Sie bitte zunächst, ob Sie das Problem mit Hilfe der folgenden übersicht selbst beheben können.
Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, die Geräte selbst zu reparieren. Wenn eine Reparatur notwendig ist, wenden Sie sich bitte an unser Service Center oder eine andere geeignete Fachwerkstatt.
Bei allen Problemen überprüfen Sie, ob Netzteil und Telefonkabel richtig eingesteckt sind (siehe Netzteil an die Basisstation anschließen und Basisstation an das Telefonnetz anschließen). überprüfen Sie das Telefon zunächst an einer anderen Telefonsteckdose.
überprüfen Sie mit der Batterieanzeige, ob der Akku geladen ist.
überprüfen Sie, ob das Mobilteil richtig registriert ist (siehe Mobilteil anmelden).
überprüfen Sie, ob sich das Mobilteil in Reichweite der Basisstation befindet.

Verpackung Ihr DECT-Telefon befindet sich zum Schutz vor Transportschäden in einer Verpackung. Verpackungen sind Rohmaterialien und können wiederverwertet oder dem Recycling-Kreislauf zugeführt werden.
Gerät Werfen Sie das DECT-Telefon am Ende seiner Lebenszeit keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Erkundigen Sie sich nach Möglichkeiten einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung.
