Estas son las lecturas que debe revisar para presentar la lección  evaluativa de presaberes del curso, que revisará los conocimientos que usted tenga  de inglés.

El material está compuesto por 3 lecturas sencillas sobre algunas temáticas básicas del nivel.  Es necesario que usted lea y comprenda muy bien estos textos, antes de ingresar a presentar la lección de presaberes.

Personal pronouns

Personal pronouns refer to the person who is doing the action or to whom the action affects. In that way we distinguish two types of personal pronouns: Personal "Subject Pronouns" and Personal "Object Pronouns".

Personal Subject Pronouns: We use the Personal Subject Pronouns to refer to the person or thing who is doing the action of the verb or the verb speaks about.

I am Colombian

Amanda is from Bogota.She lives in Cedritos.

Hugo and Fabio are good friends.They play soccer every weekend.

Personal Object Pronouns: We use the Personal Object Pronouns to refer to the person or thing whom the action of the verbs affects.

I really like Marilyn. I like her.

Ronaldo plays football. He likes it.

They talk to Marlon everyday. They talk to him.

Verb to Be

The verb "To be" is used to communicate ideas about personal information (name, nationality, profession, feelings) and qualities about people or things (color, size, shape, etc). This ideas show that something is permanent.

examples:

I am Colombian. (nationality)Brad Pitt is an actor. (profession)My car is red and big. (qualities)

It is also used as an "auxiliar verb" (to be + action):

I am studying medicin.They are playing football.

Simple Present Tense

 

The Simple Present is used to express a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something that often happens. It can also be something a person often forgets or usually does not do.

Examples:

I play tennis. She does not play tennis. Does he play tennis?

The Simple Present can also indicate that a fact is true now, and in the future. It is also used to make generalizations about people or things.

Cats like milk. Birds do not like milk. Do pigs like milk? California is in America. California is not in the United Kingdom.

Los pronombres personales

Los pronombres personales se refieren a la persona que está haciendo la acción o al que afecta la acción. De este

modo podemos distinguir dos tipos de pronombres personales: Personal "Pronombres personales sujeto" y "Pronombres de objeto".

Pronombres personales objeto: Nosotros usamos los pronombres sujeto personal para referirse a la persona o cosa que está haciendo la acción del verbo o el verbo habla.

Yo soy colombiana

Amanda es de Bogotá. Ella vive en Cedritos.

Hugo y Fabio son buenos amigos, ellos juegan futbol cada fin de semana.

Pronombres personales de objeto: Nosotros usamos los pronombres personales de objeto para hacer referencia a la persona o cosa a quien la acción de los verbos afecta.

A mi me gusta Marilyn. A mí me gusta.

Ronaldo juega al fútbol. A él le gusta.

Hablan con Marlon todos los días. Hablan con él.

Verbo to be

El verbo "ser" se utiliza para comunicar ideas sobre la información personal (nombre, nacionalidad, profesión, sentimientos) y las cualidades sobre las personas o cosas (color, tamaño, forma, etc.) Estas ideas demostrar que algo es permanente.

Ejemplos:

También se utiliza como un "verbo auxiliar" (ser la acción +):

Presente simple

El presente simple se usa para expresar un hábito, una afición, un hecho cotidiano, un evento programado o algo que sucede a menudo. También puede ser algo que una persona a menudo se olvida, o por lo general no lo hacen.

Ejemplos:

El presente simple también puede indicar que un hecho es cierto ahora, y en el futuro. También se utiliza para hacer generalizaciones sobre personas o cosas.
