BIENVENIDA
El Laboratorio de Dioxinas del IDAEA-CSIC de Barcelona y el grupo de Química Analítica (Análisis de Contaminantes) de la Universidad de Barcelona, tienen el placer de daros una grata y calurosa bienvenida a la V Reunión Nacional de Dioxinas, Furanos y Compuestos Orgánicos Persistentes Relacionados y a la VIII Reunión de la Sociedad Española de Espectrometría de Masas, que se celebran en un evento único del 12 al 16 de Junio de 2017 en Barcelona.
Desde hace tiempo y dado el período de crisis que se sigue atravesando, en la SEEM seguimos apostando por aunar esfuerzos y celebrar reuniones conjuntas con otras sociedades o comunidades científicas con las que tenemos como nexo de unión la Espectrometría de Masas, tanto en su vertiente más teórica y de desarrollo tecnológico como en su aplicación directa a la resolución de problemas analíticos en un gran número de campos. En esta ocasión, hemos querido acercarnos al campo de medio ambiente celebrando la VIII Reunión de la SEEM con la V Reunión Nacional de Dioxinas. Esperamos que esta colaboración resulte fructífera para todos vosotros.
En el programa de mano se incluye la agenda del evento con los títulos y autores de las comunicaciones científicas de ambas reuniones. Se han programado dos días para cada una de las dos reuniones, dejando la tarde del segundo día sesiones conjuntas de ambas reuniones. El programa científico que se presenta consta de un total de 6 conferencias plenarias y 6 comunicaciones invitadas, todas ellas a cargo de ponentes de reconocido prestigio a nivel nacional e internacional. Se han presentado 91 comunicaciones por parte de centros de investigación, universidades, administraciones públicas y empresas privadas de todo el ámbito nacional. De entre las comunicaciones presentadas se han seleccionado 34 como comunicaciones orales y las 57 restantes se presentan en formato póster, de los cuales 8 han sido también elegidos para su presentación en formato de comunicación flash. Por otro lado, previo a las dos reuniones se ha organizado un curso de espectrometría de masas al cual han asistido unos 25 participantes.
La organización de este evento responde tanto al trabajo conjunto del comité organizador formado por miembros del IDAEA-CSIC y de la Universidad de Barcelona, a la labor del comité científico formado por los miembros de la Junta de la SEEM y colegas de reconocido prestigio nacional, quienes nos han asesorado para elaborar un programa suficientemente atractivo para los asistentes.
Es necesario destacar la gran acogida que ha tenido esta reunión conjunta por parte de las empresas, como puede verse en el panel de empresas patrocinadoras tanto del evento como de los premios que se otorgan a las mejores comunicaciones (orales y pósteres) en ambas reuniones. Los patrocinadores disponen de una zona para exhibir sus productos e instrumentos que está integrada con la zona de exhibición de pósteres y eventos sociales. Queremos por ello mostrar nuestra más sincera gratitud por su participación y soporte financiero a este evento.
Queridos amigos y compañeros sólo queda agradeceros vuestra participación a esta reunión conjunta. Los comités científico y organizador han trabajado con ilusión para proporcionaros una estancia científicamente provechosa y socialmente agradable, por lo que esperamos que el evento que hemos organizado responda con creces a vuestras expectativas.
