Follow the instructions below to create a fun study aid. This aid will help you reviewmany of the expressions listed on page 131 of your textbook.

MATERIALS You will need a sheet of unlined paper,glue or tape, and a pen or pencil.

STEP 1 Fold a 2-inch lengthwise flap in a sheet ofpaper.

STEP 2 Now, fold a 1/2-inch flap on either end of thesheet of the paper. Glue or tape these flaps wherethey meet the original 2-inch fold.

STEP 3 When the flaps are dry, fold the paper inhalf so that the two folded ends meet with the pockets on the inside. On both sides of your pocketfolder, write Chapter 3 Flashcards.

STEP 4 If you haven’t already made them, use 3� � 5�

index cards to create flashcards for Vocabulario 1 andVocabulario 2 (see pp. 7–8 of this book), and placethem in the left pocket, drawing side up.

STEP 5 Review the expressions in Chapter 3 by tak-ing a flashcard from the file pocket, looking at thedrawing, and trying to recall the expression writtenon the other side. If you are correct, place the cardin the right pocket. If not, file the card in last placein the left pocket for further review.
