ACERCA DE TECtv

TECtv es el canal de televisión del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Productiva de la República Argentina. En su programación presenta series de ficción, documentales, entrevistas, biografías y microprogramas que proponen un acercamiento lúdico con formatos novedosos, a temas de la ciencia y la tecnología.

El canal es un espacio de divulgación científica. Brinda la posibilidad de que temáticas específicas como investigaciones, científicos, emprendimientos, instituciones de la ciencia y avances tecnológicos adquieran una visibilidad sin antecedentes en nuestro país. Detrás de cada producción, el canal ofrece una mirada crítica y a la vez entretenida de sus contenidos.

Con estas acciones, TECtv se propone fomentar vocaciones científicas en los jóvenes y, además, despertar el interés y generar curiosidad sobre estos temas en la sociedad en general.

Se transmite a través del canal 22.5 de la Televisión Digital Abierta (TDA), y cuenta con un espacio online como segunda pantalla para que la audiencia tenga libre acceso a los contenidos.

ABOUT US

TECtv is the television channel of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of Argentina. The channel airs fiction shows, documentary series, science journalism shows, life stories/biographies of scientists, etc. All programs share a simple (though rigorous), enjoyable and accurate approach in order to make science and technology accessible to all audiences. The main goal of TECtv is to encourage, mainly in teenagers (but also for a general public), the interest for scientific knowledge. In addition, TECtv aims to show the successful cases of technology incorporation in small and medium companies, in order to present and foster the technological innovations developed in Argentina. TECtv is aired on channel 22.5 Open Digital TV (TDA) as well as in a website that is accesible on 24/7.

Eugenia Simone is a molecular biologist who returns to her country after 10 years of living abroad. Upon her return, she begins to work in a high complexity laboratory, which is able to solve problems in different areas: medicine, molecular biology, genetics and ecology. Her life will experience a complete change as she unexpectedly has to take over the institute. She and her teammates will have to learn how to work together and solve their differences, both personal and scientific.

Eugenia Simone es una bióloga molecular que regresa a su país tras 10 años de vivir en el exterior. A su regreso, se inserta en un laboratorio de alta complejidad, capacitado para resolver problemas en diferentes áreas: medicina, biología molecular, genética y ecología. Su vida se verá revolucionada cuando, inesperadamente, tendrá que hacerse cargo del instituto. Ella y su equipo deberán aprender a trabajar juntos resolviendo sus diferencias y estilos, a nivel personal y científico.

HOW IT’S DONE CÓMO SE HACE

How it’s done shows the world behind products fabrication in industries such as construction, metallurgy and plastic. OBJECTIVE TEC OBJETIVO TEC

In just three weeks, the 12 participants of this reality show will have to write, shoot and edit a short-length film about science and nature, supervised by two expert documentary filmmakers from the BBC and by scientists from the Chascomús Institute of Technology (INTECH). TEC will accompany the participants during the different stages of filming, recording the ways they manage to overcome the difficulties encountered in transposing the scientific content to the audiovisual format. Art critic Adrian Paredes works in a very important newspaper. He has been transferred to the new technology section of the newspaper: Comput-ARG. Adrian will visit companies and universities in Argentina to meet and interview researchers of robotics and technology security in order to make get his work done for his job in the drafting of a digital newspaper and blog being conducted. The emotional aspects will be marked by the relationship with his teenage son Adrián and a new co-worker who will gradually getting into his life.

La serie gira en torno a la vida de Adrián Paredes, crítico de arte, que por una reestructuración en el diario en que trabaja, es reubicado en el nuevo suplemento de Tecnología llamado Comput-ARG. Adrián visitará empresas y universidades de Argentina, a fin de conocer y entrevistar especialistas en seguridad informática, programación y robótica principalmente, para cumplir con las entregas de su trabajo en la redacción del diario y en un blog digital que lleva adelante. Los aspectos emocionales estarán marcados por la relación de Adrián con su hijo adolescente y con una nueva compañera de trabajo que poco a poco irá metiéndose en su vida.
