GEA Cooling Systems uses over 80 years of technology and experience by the GEA group in the design,manufacture and assembly of cooling towers.

The Cooling Towers built in the filed have applications in the most diverse segments of the industry, from the simplest to the most complex.

Cold Water Basin 

In both options, the cold water basin is built of concrete.

Em ambas as opções, a bacia de água fria é construída em concreto.

Estrutura e Fechamento

A GEA disponibiliza duas versões, sendo:

• Estrutura e fechamento em Concreto, podendo serna construção moldada in-loco ou em pré-moldado.

• Estrutura em perfis em PRFV Pultrudado efechamento em PRFV

Framework and Casing 

GEA has two versions available: 

• Framework and casing in Concrete, can be molded on-site or pre-form.

• Structure with PRFV profile, Pultruded and casing in PRFV 

Eixo de Transmissão 

Do tipo tubular flutuante, é construído em fibra de carbono com acoplamentos elásticos dotados de elementos flexíveis. O conjunto é balanceado dinamicamente.

Drive Shaft 

Floating tubular type, built of carbon fiber with elastic couplers with flexible elements. The set is dynamically balanced.

Acionamento Mecânico

O acionamento mecânico é do tipo indireto, com motor instalado do lado externo do

cilindro. O redutor é do tipo angular, selecionado com fator serviço maior ou igual a 2.Todo o conjunto é suportado por um suporte construído em aço carbono revestido emepoxi ou outro acabamento mediante consulta prévia.

Power Transmission 

The power transmission is indirect, with the motor installed outside of the cylinder. The reductor is angular, selected with a service factor greater than or equal to 2. The entire set is supported by a support built of epoxy-coated carbon steel or other finish pending prior consultation.

Hélice

Do tipo axial, é dotada de pás construídas em PRFV com a borda de ataque protegidacom aço inox ou também na opção de fornecimento, com pás de Alumínio Extrudado.

O cubo central é construído em aço carbono revestido em epoxiAxial Fan 

Axial-type, it has blades made from PRFV with the leading edge protected by stainless steel or also in the supplying option, with blades of Extruded Aluminum. The central cube is built of epoxy-coated carbon steel.

Eliminadores de Gotas

Os eliminadores de gotas, componentes imprescindíveis às torres de resfriamento, podem serfornecidos em tipo celular em PVC ou em tipo lâminas em PP injetado.

Drip Eliminators 

The drip eliminators, unprecedented components in cooling towers, can be supplied in a cellular type made from PVC or as injected PP blades.

Canais Verticais / Vertical Channel 

Grade em PP / Grid in PP  Barras de Respingo em PVC / Splash Bar in PVC 

Enchimento de Contato / Fill 

Sistema de Distribuição de Água

O sistema de distribuição de água (do circuito interno à torre) é dotado de tubos ramais eprincipais construídos em PVC. Com projeto exclusivo, baixa pressão e alta performance,os bicos de distribuição distribuem a água uniformemente a todo o enchimento de contato.

Suportes Internos

Os suportes internos nas torres em concreto serão feitos parcialmente do mesmo material daestrutura e em aço ou PRFV. Na opção de torres com estrutura em PRFV Pultrudado, todos ossuportes internos serão fornecidos no mesmo material da estrutura.

Internal Supports The concrete internal supports in the towers will partially made from the same material as the structure, in steel or PRFV. In the Pultruded PRFV tower structure option, the internal supports will be provided in the same material as the structure.

Water Distribution System 

The water distribution system (from the tower’s internal circuit) has main and auxiliary pipes made from PVC. With an exclusive design, low pressure and high performance, the distribution nozzles dispense water uniformly throughout the contact fill.
