<b>Please note:</b> When the package is first installed, the product will be un-licensed. You must license the product before deploying the package. To do this, please navigate to the products root folder, in this case, 'Crocodile Chemistry 605' and launch the product by clicking on 'CrocodileChemistry.exe', then enter your license details.

<h2>About Crocodile Chemistry 605 Windows Installer (MSI)</h2>

<p> Crocodile Chemistry 605 Windows Installer is the latest addition to the release of Crocodile Chemistry. It is a full client Windows Installer (MSI) installation package (built with Windows Installer v2.0). This readme assumes that the user has some working knowledge of Windows Installer, in particular, the deployment of MSI files. </p>

<h2>System Requirements</h2>

<p> This package may be applied to any Windows operating system that supports Windows Installer v2.0. </p>

You must license the product before deploying the package. <p> To allocate the package, go to the RM Resource Manager, right-click on the main site and choose the 'update package list' option. When this has finished, you should see the package available for allocation if you select a machine and edit its properties. <h2>Known Issues</h2>

<p> - On older Windows platforms (Win NT v4 and Win98) that do not have a Unicode Arial font installed some symbols (for instance, those in the Properties pane) will not be displayed correctly. To fix this problem you must install a Unicode Arial font on your system. </p>

<p> - If you experience any display issues using our software on Windows NT it may help to install service pack 6 and update your graphics drivers'. Updated drivers can be found on your graphic card manufacturer's website. <br><br> To identify your graphics card, open the Windows Control Panel, and choose the 'Display Properties' item. In the dialog box that appears, click the 'Settings' tab (normally the right-most tab). At the bottom right corner of the Settings pane is a button labelled 'Advanced...'; click this to open another dialog box. <br><br> In the Advanced box is a tab called 'Adapter', click this and information about your graphics card will be displayed. The important pieces of information are the Manufacturer and the Chipset. Common manufacturers are Intel, ATI, Matrox and nVidia. The chipset number or name will be useful for finding drivers on the manufacturer's website. (The model name is sometimes also displayed as the first line in the Adapter tab). <br><br> The safest way to find drivers is to search for the manufacturer's website (some are listed below), and then look for a 'downloads', 'drivers' or 'support' section of the site. Depending on the site you can then search based on your graphics card's model number and download the driver files. <p> Damit Crocodile Chemistry unter Windows NT/2000 korrekt läuft, wird empfohlen, die

Einstellung 256 Farben NICHT zu verwenden. Für diese Betriebssysteme wird High Color (16 Bit) oder höher empfohlen.Wenn Sie einen Cursor verwenden, der nicht zum Standard gehört und wie dies in den Desktop-Motiven verwendet wird, kann es sein, dass der Cursor flimmert. Wenn Sie dieses Flimmern stört, stellen Sie den Windows-Standardcursor wieder her. </p>

<h2>Hinweise für Netzwerkverwalter</h2>

<p><i> Crocodile Chemistry DLL-Installationsprogramm </p></i><br><br>

<p> Das Installationsprogramm installiert die DLL auf einem Workstation, die erforderlich sind, damit Crocodile Chemistry auf einem Workstation laufen kann. Um das Installationsprogramm auszuführen, müssen Sie die Datei 'ChemDlls.exe' im Ordner 'D:\Network Installer\' ausführen, wobei D der Buchstabe des CD-ROM-Laufwerks ist. Dies ist auf jedem Workstation auszuführen, auf dem Crocodile Chemistry laufen soll. </p>

<p> Dies ist erforderlich, da es möglich ist, dass eine Reihe von Workstation Crocodile Chemistry über einen Server ausführen, aber dass die notwendigen DLL nicht auf ihnen installiert sind.
