    QU ES E-VERIFY?La ley ederal requiere que todos los

    empleadores comprueben la identidad

    y elegibilidad de empleo de todos los

    empleados nuevos (incluso ciudadanos

    estadounidenses) dentro de los tres

    Federal Law requires that all employers veriy

    the identity and employment eligibility o

    all new employees (including U.S. citizens)

    within three days o hire. Employers are required to

    complete a Form I-9, and employees must provide

    employers with documents establishing both

    identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

    Te Department o Homeland Security (DHS)

    and the Social Security Administration (SSA) have

    established an electronic system called E-Veriy to

    assist employers urther in veriying the employment

    Trough E-Veriy, employers send inormation
