{faces of nicaragua} ::: JUNIOR ::: Junior is the youngest of three children, he is probably about three years old. His mother left the family when he was an infant and his father works all the time to try to make money to provide for the family. His oldest sister, who is about 10 years old, takes care of him and his older brother. They live in a little mountain village called San Antonio where there is no access to clean water. Junior’s belly protrudes from his body because it is full of parasites. We could give him medicine, but he would just ingest more parasites the next time he took a drink of water. It is a brutal cycle of illness that wouldn’t exist if there was clean water in Junior’s village. < Project 127 is working with the community and the government with the goal of having clean, running water brought to San Antonio in the next couple of months. It costs over $1,000.00 to bring in pipes to the community that would bring the clean water to these beautiful people. If you would like to have a part in bringing clean water and the resulting
