Lasituaciónsinópticaentrelosdíasmiércoles11ysábado14deseptiembrede2019vinodefinidaporlapresenciadeunavaguadaquesecerróhacialazonadeGranBretaña,produciendolaformacióndeunaDANA(ogotafría)queentróanuestraPenínsula Ibérica por la zona del Cantábrico con dirección hacia Cataluña yposteriormentesiguiódescolgándosehaciaelnortedeÁfrica(zonaentreMarruecosyArgelia)para,enúltimolugar,volverasubirenunmovimientoretrógradohaciaelsuroestedelaPenínsulaIbérica.Lacombinacióndeesteembolsamientodeairefríoenaltura,juntoconlaentradaanuestraComunidaddeunflujobiendefinidodevientoshúmedosdegranrecorridomarítimo(conrachasfuertesdedirecciónE-NE),favoreciólaapariciónenunagranextensióndenuestroterritorio(comarcasdelaValld’Albaida,laCostera,laMarinaAltayBajayelBaixSegura)delluviaspersistentes,localmentefuertesomuyfuertesy de intensidad torrencial.
