Planteamiento del problema
• Se requiere definir y poner cerámica a una piscina rectangular de área 40m².
• La cerámica a lo largo de los lados horizontales vale 16bsf por metro y por los lados verticales 25bsf por metro.
• ¿Qué dimensiones tendrá la piscina para minimizar el gasto?
Pasos detalladosA= 40m y
x16 bsf /m
25 bsf/m Ley de no negatividad:X > 0Y > 0
Función Objetivo:
C = (2x)16 + (2y) 25C = 32x + 50yF(x , y) = 32x + 50y
Restricciones:A= 40m² x y =40 x y - 40 = 0G(x , y) = xy - 40
∇f= λ·∇g<fx, fy> = λ <gx, gy><fx, fy> = < λgx, λgy>
fx = λgx λ = fx/gxfy= λgy λ = fy/gy
fx/gx = fy/gy
Derivadas parciales:
F(x , y) = 32x + 50y fx = 32 fy = 50
G(x , y) = xy - 40 gx = y gy = x
Sustituimos en:fx/gx = fy/gy32/y = 50/ x32x = 50y16x = 25y
Planteamos sistema de ecuaciones16x = 25yx y = 40
