  • What is Computer?

    Computer is an electronic, programmable device that can store, retrieve and process data.

    5 Basic Elements:

    Electronic all computers are powered by electricity.Programmable a computer must be able to follow a set of instructions to operate.Storage a computer must be able to store information to be used at another time.Retrieve - a computer must be able to retrieve the information that it has stored.Process a computer must be able to process information.
  • What is data?

    Data is raw, unprocessed facts. It has the potential to become useful information, but first it has to be manipulated and transformed.

  • What is information?

    Information is processed data. It is data that has already been manipulated and transformed into something useful.

  • 4 Basic Functions:

    Input The procedure of feeding data into a computer.Process is the operation of manipulating and transforming data into something useful.
