Esta novela gráfica de 52 páginas –que posee muchos detalles autobiográficos- cuenta la historia de un joven artista que cumple 30 años y cae enfermo. Estando en cama, comienza a recordar su vida pasada y algunas relaciones amorosas. Al recuperarse, la historia continúa describiendo su cotidianeidad y los pequeños momentos de su vida en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. En medio de la narración surgen reflexiones sobre el cine, el arte, la televisión y la sociedad, aparecen recuerdos de familia, sueños, miedos y fantasías, y todo eso atrapa al protagonista, quien está a la búsqueda de un camino posible para su vida luego de los 30. This 52-page graphic novel –with many autobiographical details- tells the story of a young artist who turns thirty and gets sick. In bed, he begins to remember his past life and his love relationships. Upon his recovery, the story goes on to describe his daily existence and the small moments of his life in the city of Buenos Aires. The tale holds reflections on cinema, art, television and society, as well as family memories, dreams, fears and fantasies, and the main character is trapped by all of them, while he is in search of a possible path for his life in the thirties.

Ezequiel García tomó clases de historietas con Alberto Breccia y también estudió Bellas Artes, cine y fotografía. Fue co-editor de la revista de historietas “El Tripero” entre 1993 y 2001, y ha publicado historietas en revistas como Barbaria (2000), Ramona 36 – Especial Breccia (2003), Camouflage Comics (Holanda, 2004), Ojo de vidrio (Chile, 2006), La cabula (2007), La mano (2008), Carboncito (Perú, 2010-2011), Un Faulduo (2010-2012), Ñ (Suplemento Cultural de Clarín, 2010-2012), Brando (2012) y otras. En el 2000 obtuvo el Premio Historieta en el 27* Salón de Humor de Piracicaba, Brasil. En el 2007 publicó la novela gráfica “Llegar a los 30” (Emecé Editores, Argentina) y acaba de terminar su nuevo libro, “Creciendo en público”, planeado para ser editado en Argentina hacia 2012. Enseña historietas en varias instituciones y promueve la autoedición de publicaciones de sus alumnos, quienes ya han concretado varios ejemplares. Desde 2010 es miembro del colectivo de arte e historietas “Un Faulduo”. Exhibió su trabajo en varias galerías e instituciones en Argentina y otros países, y también realiza ilustraciones, pinturas, murales y otros trabajos, que se pueden ver en www.creciendoenpublico.com.ar Ezequiel García took classes in comics from Alberto Breccia. He also did studies in Fine Arts, cinema and photography. He co-edited the comics magazine “El Tripero” between 1993 and 2001, and has published in other magazines such as Barbaria (2000), Ramona 36 – Breccia Special (2003), Camouflage Comics (The Netherlands, 2004), Ojo de vidrio (Chile, 2006), La cabula (2007), La mano (2008), Carboncito (Peru, 2010-2011), Un Faulduo (2010-2012), Ñ (Clarín Newspaper’s Cultural Pages, 2010-2012), Brando (2012) and others. In 2000 he won out the Comics Section in the 27* Piracicaba (Brazil) Humour Contest. In 2007 he published the graphic novel “Llegar a los 30” (“Reaching the thirties”, Emecé Editores, Argentina) and has just finished his new book, “Growing up in public”, planned to be published in Argentina by 2012. He teaches comics in several institutions, and promotes the self-edition among his students, who have published several magazines. Sine 2010 he is part of the art & comics collective “Un Faulduo”. He showed his work in many galleries and institutions in Argentina and other countries, and also does illustrations, mural paintings and other works, which can be seen on www.creciendoenpublico.com.ar
