El calendario de pruebas deporti-vas ha consolidado al Municipio de Al-cúdia como un destino referente para el turismo deportivo. Entre ellas, en-contramos pruebas con más de quince años de historia así como otras más novedosas en las que se mezcla la tra-dición y el deporte.

Am 4., 5. und 6. Mai findet das III. CIRCAIRE Zirkusfestival in Alcú-dia statt. Circaire ist gegenwärtig das einzige Zirkusfestival auf Mallorca und wurde 2016 ins Leben gerufen, um eine historische Lücke in der Zir-kuswelt der Balearen zu füllen und ein öffentliches Bewusstsein für die Zir-kuskünste zu schaffen.Die Gemeindeverwaltung von Alcúdia möchte diese Zirkusspiele, ein klares Modell für den Kulturtourismus, fort-setzen, das in der Lage ist, ein Pro-gramm zu gestalten, das durch Origi-nalität, Vielfältigkeit und Innovation glänzt, und das sich in nur zwei Jahren unter den bedeutendsten Ereignissen der Bühnenkünste bereits einen Na-men gemacht hat.Mehr als 10.000 Zuschauer erfreuen sich an den Aufführungen und Works-hops des Zirkusfestivals, die an den ein-drucksvollsten Plätzen in der Ortschaft Alcúdia (Vila-Roja-Brücke, Plaça de la Vicaria, Gassen rund um die Kirche, Au-ditorium von Alcúdia usw.) und außer-dem in Port d’Alcúdia geboten werden, um auch ein überwiegend ausländisches Publikum, das eher am Hafen seinen Ur-laub verbringt, zu erreichen.

Los días 4, 5 y 6 de mayo tendrá lugar en Alcúdia la III edición de CIR-CAIRE, la Muestra de Circo de Alcúdia. Circaire es, actualmente, el único fes-tival de circo existente en Mallorca y nació en el 2016 para cubrir un vacío histórico que sufre el mundo del circo en las Islas Baleares y dar difusión a las artes del circo.El Ayuntamiento de Alcúdia quiere dar continuidad a esta Muestra de Circo, un modelo claro de turismo cultural ca-paz de moldear una programación que brilla por la originalidad, diversidad y la innovación, y que en sólo dos años ya se ha convertido en un referente dentro de los acontecimientos más im-portantes de las Artes Escénicas.Más de 10.000 personas disfrutan de los espectáculos y talleres del festival, que transcurren en los lugares más emblemáticos del pueblo de Alcúdia (Pont de la Villa-Roja, Plaza de la Vi-caría, bajantes de la Iglesia, Auditorio de Alcúdia...), así como en el Puerto de Alcúdia, para dar también cobertura a un público mayoritariamente extran-jero que tiene el puerto como base de operaciones.

On 4th, 5th and 6th May, the 3rd edition of CIRCAIRE, Alcúdia’s Circus Festival, will take place in Alcúdia. Cir-caire is currently the only circus festival that exists in Majorca and was started in 2016 to fill the historical void that the circus world on the Balearic Islands was suffering, and also to show off circus arts.Alcúdia Town Council has wanted to con-tinue this Circus Festival, a clear model of cultural tourism that is able to devise a programme that is outstanding for its originality, diversity and innovation, and which in only two years has already be-come a point of reference within the most important Performing Arts’ events.More than 10,000 people enjoy the festi-val shows and workshops that take place in the most iconic locations in the town of Alcúdia (Villa-Roja Bridge, La Vicaría Square, the Church steps, Alcúdia Audi-torium, etc.), and also in the Port of Alcú-dia, providing access to a mainly foreign audience who generally stay within the port area.

El Museo Sa Bassa Blanca ofre-ce una experiencia total de arte al aire libre, entre el mar y la montaña, inte-grando naturaleza, arquitectura, land-art, y jardines de esculturas. Este viaje al pasado de muchas culturas recibe miles de visitantes de todo el mundo, muchos de ellos niños y jóvenes.

El museo presenta de manera atracti-va un compendio del arte mundial, con obras de artistas como el misterioso Domenico Gnoli, instalaciones de Re-becca Horn, el enigmático Juke Blue de James Turrell o el árbol de los de-seos de Yoko Ono; la Colección Nins, de retratos de niños del s. Das Museum Sa Bassa Blanca – eingebettet zwischen Bergen und Meer – bietet Kunst, Natur, Archite-ktur, Design und einen faszinierenden Skulpturenpark unter freiem Himmel. Mehrere tausend Besucher jährlich tauchen in dieses Erlebnis ein, darun-ter 5.000 Kinder und Jugendliche. Die Werke reichen von Kinderporträts des 16. bis 19. Jahrhunderts bis hin zu experimenteller Kunst. Sie finden bei uns Künstler wie Doménico Gnoli, Re-beca Horn, Takis, Meret Oppenheim, Miralda und Yoko Ono, marrokkanis-che Kunst von Mohamed Tabal, Tahar Benjelloun oder Leila Allaoui, ausges-tellt im einzigartigen Gebäude des sogenannten Architekten der Armen, Hassan Fathy. Der Raum Sokrates zeigt u.a. Werke von James Turrell, Miquel Barceló, José María Sicilia, Wi-lliam Kentridge, Gerhard Merz. Der Rosengarten mit über 100 Sorten alter englischer Rosen, die sich an der Steinmauer des im Stil eines mittelal-terlichen Hortus Conclusus angeleg-ten Gartens ranken, zieht Rosenlie-bhaber weltweit an. Und als Highlight laden wir Sie zu un-serer Cámara Oscura der Fotografin Nilu Izadi ein, hoch oben auf dem Berg mit Blick auf die Bucht. The Museum Sa Bassa Blanca offers you a total experience of art in na-ture, set between mountain and sea, with amazing architecture, art and a sculpture park. This visit to different world cultures welcomes thousands of visitors a year, and is very apt for families with children and teens who will really love this visit.

You will see diverse different art ranging from fascinating paintings of the 16th-19th centuries to experimental modern art. Feel the mysterious atmosphere in the amazing paintings of Italian artist Domenico Gnoli, hear the chime of Re-becca Horn´s work and be mesmerized by the secretive James Turrell installation, “Juke Blue”, 1968, in the Sokrates Space.

Feel free to participate on Yoko Ono´s Wish Tree, dive into the exceptional pain-tings of the old master portraits Gallery Nins, learning a lot about childhood in times gone by. Or simply enjoy the strong and colourful paintings of contemporary Moroccan artists in the romantic Moori-sh ribat designed by the famous Egyp-tian architect Hassan Fathy. Es recomendable realizar la excur-sión en bicicleta. El punto de partida se sitúa en la Porta de Mallorca, siguien-do la calle de Sant Sebastià. Al final de la misma, tomaremos el camí del Corral d’en Bennàssar. Este sendero se aden-tra en algunos terrenos de cultivo.Transcurridos aprox. unos 700 metros, desde el camino, podremos divisar ar-tilugios tan peculiares como una anti-gua noria que antaño se utilizaba para abastecer de agua las tierras cultiva-das, o el molino d’en Cabitla, a cuya altura abandonaremos el camino para llegar hasta el mar, que desde ese pun-to se encuentra a una distancia de 300 metros. El breve trayecto transcurre inmerso en un relieve costero que nos mostrará agradables panorámicas y en el que se entremezclan los espacios naturales con algunas edificaciones. Continuaremos durante aprox. un kiló-metro por el paseo de Voramar hasta la plaza dels Mestres d’Aixa.Siguiendo en dirección hacia el cap del

We recommend going by bike on this excursion and cycling along the very at-tractive north coast of Alcúdia. We depart from the Porta de Mallorca and take Ca-rrer de Sant Sebastià. At the end of that street, there is a path, the Camí del Corral d´en Bennàssar. This path passes through cultivated land and 700 metres ahead, near the path, there is an old water wheel used to draw water from the well to irriga-te; nearby to the right there is the Cabit-la windmill. Just next to the windmill we must leave the path and head for the sea (300 metres). It is a very pleasant coastli-ne where nature blends with buildings and with wooden moorings scattered all along that part of the shore. Continue along the coast road beside the sea for 1 Km (parts of it have been asphalted and others not), arriving at Plaça de Mestres d´Aixa, from where there is an extensive view of the coast up to Cap del Pinar. Continue along the street, Carrer de les Veles, and arri-ve at Barcarès harbour, then follow the coast along Avinguda del Camp de Mar, until reaching Morer Vermell. Go across until you arrive at the sea again at Pas-seig de Tirant lo Blanc and this will lead you to Manresa (1,5 Km). Cross Manresa in the direction of Mal Pas and 800 me-tres ahead we come to Sant Joan beach. Afterwards we pass Mal Pas, and return to Alcúdia by the Camí de Mal Pas (2,5 Km). It is possible to arrive at the Porta del Moll using the Carrer del Molinot. Porta de Ma-llorca-North Coast-Porta Roja A shorter version of the above excursion from Bar-carès harbour is to continue to Alcúdia by the Camí del Barcarès (1 Km) and arrive at plaça de la Porta Roja where in olden times there was the third city portal.

Una vez allí, cruzaremos hasta el paseo de Tirant lo Blanc que nos conducirá, después de 1’5 km, hasta Manresa. Proseguiremos en dirección hacia el Mal Pas y, al cabo de unos 800 metros, encontraremos la playa de Sant Joan.El trayecto de vuelta puede realizarse a través del camí del Mal Pas. Desde ese punto, Alcúdia se encuentra a unadistancia de 2’5 km. También se puede llegar hasta la Porta del Moll, girando hacia el carrer del Molinot.Porta de Mallorca – Costa Nord – Por-ta Roja. Una variante al itinerario an-terior desde el muelle del Barcarès, consiste en continuar hacia Alcúdia por el camí del Barcarès hasta llegar a la plaza de la Porta Roja donde, en otra época, se encontrada la tercera puerta de acceso a la ciudad.

Dort angekommen, überqueren wir ihn, bis man erneut auf dem Pas-seig de Tirant lo Blanc ans Meer gelan-gt, der nach Manresa (1,5 km) führt. Wir gehen in Richtung Mal Pas weiter und kommen nach 800 Metern zum Strand von Sant Joan. Um von Mal Pas wieder zurückzuge-hen, kann man dengleichnamigen Weg nehmen. Von hier aus liegt Alcúdia 2,5 km entfernt. Por-ta del Moll kann man auch erreichen, wenn man in die Carrer del Molinot einbiegt.Porta de Mallorca - Nordküste - Porta Roja. Eine mögliche Variante des vor-herigen Ausfluges verläuft vom Anle-gesteg del Barcarès aus in Richtung Alcúdia auf dem Camí del Barcarès (1 km) zur Plaça de la Porta Roja, wo sichfrüher das dritte Stadttor befand.

You can recognise these establishments as they have the seal of Alcúdia for ever-yone on their outside wall.We have also published a guide in 6 lan-guages with accessibility information, where you can find different routes pas-sing through the municipality of Alcúdia. The app is adapted for the deaf and blind or visually impaired people.

Alcúdia para todos es un proyecto del Ayuntamiento de Alcúdia implicado en acoger en nuestro municipio a todas aquellas personas interesadas en visitar-nos y conocer todo lo que Alcúdia puede ofrecer, independientemente de las capa-cidades físicas y sensoriales de cada uno.En Alcúdia más de 100 personas del ayuntamiento, empresas de restaura-ción, alojamiento, ocio y oferta de activi-dades, nos hemos formado en excelencia en el trato a personas con discapacidad y/o necesidades especiales. Reconocerás estos establecimientos ya que en su fa-chada figura el sello Alcúdia para todos. Del mismo modo hemos editado una guía, en 6 idiomas, con información so-bre accesibilidad, en la que puedes ob-servar diferentes rutas por el municipio de Alcúdia. La aplicación está adaptada para personas sordas y ciegas o con visi-bilidad reducida.

· Celebración de la festividad de Sant Antoni Abat, patrón de los animales. El 16 de enero, los “Dimonis” salen del Ayuntamiento y recorren las calles. Durante la semana, la gente enciende los “foguerons” (hogueras) con comida y cánticos típicos. El 17, tiene lugar la bendecida de los animales.

· Festivity of Sant Antoni Abat, patron saint of animals. On January 16th the “Dimonis” (De-vils) leave the Town Hall and run through the streets. Over the course of the week, bonfires (foguerons) are lit where people enjoy tradi-tional food and songs. On January 17th the blessing of the animals takes place.

· Festveranstaltung zu Ehren von Sant An-toni Abat, Schutzpatron der Tiere. Am 16. Januar verlassen die »dimonis« (Teufel) das Rathaus und ziehen durch die Straßen. Im Laufe der Woche werden große Feuer, die »foguerons«, begleitet von typischen Spei-sen und Liedern, entzündet. Am 17. Januar findet die Segnung der Tiere statt.

· This route starts at Formentor beach and goes to the beach of Sant Pere, crossing the bay of Pollensa. It is a medium difficulty cha-llenge with a distance of about 7 Km.

· Die Schwimmstrecke in offenen Gewäs-sern durchquert die gesamte Pollença-Bu-cht vom Strand Formentor bis zum Strand Sant Pere. Bei dem mittelschweren Ren-nen ist ein Weg von rund 7 km zurückzu-legen.
