“-A- Personal”

We use the “-a- personal” when youhave another person besides thesubject in the sentence. You place an“a” before the person when theperson is a direct object. A directobject is the noun that receives theaction.

Ex: I talk to my mom. (“my mom” is thedirect object, the person being talkedto, so “my mom” receives the action.)

I see the teacher. = action of seeing is being

done to the teacher.

I know my parents = action of knowing is

being done to the parents.
