Bones i santes festes de Nadal!

Germans i germanes de Mallorca: sigueu benvinguts a ca vostra!

La Seu de Mallorca vos acull amb alegria en complir-se els 2015 anys del naixement del Bon Jesús, segons l’antic calendari cristià.

La celebració d’avui és fruit d’una tradició molt antiga. Els cristians de tots els temps s’han reunit en el cor de la nit per expressar la tensió de la fe: en la nit, l’esperança de l’albada; en la foscor, el desig de la llum; en la tenebra, la certesa de la claredat d’un dia sense posta. Nosaltres ho feim ara amb el desig d’aprofundir l’experiència de l’Amor de Déu, que s’acosta a nosaltres en Jesús per encoratjar la nostra fidelitat.

La celebració és un temps diferent. Més pausat. Sense presses. Per recuperar, la seva autèntica dimensió: la vida no és un espai per fer moltes coses; la vida és per viure-la. La litúrgia ens vol introduir en aquest univers on l’essencial es manifesta amb tot el seu encís i ens convida a fer-lo nostre. Per això, en el curs de la celebració hi haurà parau-les, gestos i símbols que compartirem per tal d’obrir-nos, plegats, al misteri de la vida i que nosaltres anomenam Déu.

•Lespetitesprocessonsdels qui participen més activament són el signe que la vida és moviment, pelegrinatge, canvi i procés, que sols fent camí arribam a la plenitud de la nostra humanitat.

•L’encenssimbolitza des de l’antigor l’atmosfera sempre nova que brolla de la irrup-ció del Déu-Amor en la vida humana: com un perfum, que no trastoca res del que besa, però que tot ho fa més agradós, així la fe aporta qualitat a l’existència. I a poc a poc ens converteix en déus: homes i dones capaços d’estimar sense mesura.

•Laparaulaés allò que ens fa humans. Ens comunica’m parlant. Ens feim parlant. Déu ha volgut aprendre la nostra llengua per dir-nos les seves il·lusions, el seu desig d’amistat amb nosaltres, la seva voluntat de fer-nos feliços. L’escoltarem amb delit i amb atenció. 

•Lapregàriadel cosés lapostura.Per això, cada moment demana una especial posició de les mans, del cos, de la persona sencera: asseguts, assumim l’actitud dels qui escolten; drets, ens sentim pelegrins amb tots els germans; el celebrant i els pre-veres en estendre les seves mans, fan memòria del Crist ressuscitat, que mostrava les nafres de la creu convertides en llum resplendent i per això les hi mantenen durant les oracions solemnes i la pregària eucarística.

•Lamúsicaielcantsón una forma de comunicació molt escaient a l’hora de com-partir les senyes que ens identifiquen i que ens fan sentir una gran família encara que no tots ens coneixem. Interpreta la música de la celebració i ens acompanya en la nostra pregària la Capella Mallorquina, dirigida pel Mestre José Maria Moreno.

•Amb els estris, doncs, que la tradició posa al nostre abast, ens disposam a construir la celebració d’aquesta nit de Nadal.

CANT DE LA SIBIL·LA

Una joia de la nostra tradició mallorquina, el càntic de la Sibil·la, ens recorda que som un poble de gent somniadora, antiga d’arrels, ple de la llum mediterrània i dels colors de la nostre mar. Que el seu cant des-vetlli en nosaltres sentiments d’acció de gràcies a Déu per la fe rebuda dels avantpassats i ens mogui a una major satisfacció de ser amics i amigues del Senyor que avui neix a Betlem.

Natán respondió al rey: “Ve y haz cuanto piensas,pues el Señor está contigo”.

Pero aquella noche recibió Natán la siguiente palabradel Señor: Ve y dile a mi siervo David: “¿Eres tú quienme va a construir una casa para que yo habite en ella? Yote qué de los apriscos, de andar tras las ovejas, para quefueras jefe de mi pueblo Israel. CANTO DE LA SIBILAUna tradición medieval hace resonar en la nochebue-

na mallorquina el canto de la Sibila: es el anuncio de queeste niño, que hoy nace para nuestra salvación, volverácomo juez al �n de los tiempos para premiar a cuantos lohayan servido con fe.

Representa y canta la Sibila Margalida Rodríguez, al-ternando con interludios polifónicos del Cantoral de “LaConcepció” y de “El jorn de judici” del maestro BartomeuCárceres, s. XVI (Cançoner del Duc de Calabria) i d’AlfonsX “El Savi” (Entre Ave et Eva, Cantigues).

So Jo-seph set out from the town of Nazareth in Galilee andtravelled up to Judea, to the town of David called Bet-hlehem, since he was of David’s House and line, in or-der to be registered together with Mary, his betrothed,who was with child. FroheWeihnachten!Der Friede desHerrn seimitEuchallen,Schwestern und Brüder, die Ihr in unsere Kathedrale gekommen seid, um die Christ-messe mit uns zu feiern.

Seid herzlich willkommen in diesem, auch Eurem, Gotteshaus!

Die Kathedrale von Mallorca nimmt Euch mit Freuden auf in der Nacht, als vor 2015 Jahren laut frühem christlichen Kalender der Gottessohn in Beth-lehem geboren wurde.

Die heutige Feier ist Frucht einer sehr alten Tra-dition. Christen aller Zeiten haben sich in der Mitte der Nacht versammelt, um ihrer Glaubensspannung Ausdruck zu verleihen: In der Dunkelheit - die Hoff-nung auf das Licht; in der Finsternis - die Gewißheit eines hellen Tages ohne Ende. Wir tun es nunmehr mit dem Wunsch, noch tiefer zu erfahren, wie der Gott der Liebe in Jesus zu uns kommt, um uns immer mutiger zu machen für ein Leben in Treue.

Feiern bedeutet, in eine andere Zeit einzutau-chen. Ruhig und ohne Eile. Wir wollen, sei es auch nur für einige Momente, die authentische Dimension der Zeit wiedergewinnen: Im Leben geht es nicht da- rum, besonders viel zu machen; es gilt das Leben zu leben. Die Liturgie möchte uns hineinführen in dieses Universum, wo das Wesentliche sich mit all seinem

Zauber auftut und uns zur Teilhabe einlädt. Im Ver-lauf der Feier treffen wir deshalb auf Worte, Gesten und Zeichen, die gemeinsam ausgeführt uns für das Geheimnis öffnen, das dem Leben Leben verleiht: Für uns ist das Gott.

•Die kleinen Prozesionender Hauptakteure im Altarrraum machen sinnfällig, wie das Leben sich in Bewegung äußert, Pilgerschaft und stän-diger Wechsel ist, der Weg sich nur dem Wande-rer zeigt und allein dieser unser Menschsein voll verwirklicht.

•Der Weihrauch symbolisiert seit der Antike die stets neue Atmosphäre, die entsteht, wenn der Gott der Liebe sich im menschlichen Leben offenbart: Wie ein Parfum, das nichts von dem verändert, was es berührt, aber doch alles an- genehmer werden läßt, so trägt der Glaube der menschlichen Existenz Qualität bei. Nach und nach werden wir sogar zu Göttern, schrieb der hl. Ambrosius.

•Das Wortist das, was uns zu Menschen macht. Sprechend tauschen wir uns miteinander aus. Gott hat eigens unsere Sprache erlernt, um uns von seinen Träumen zu erzählen, von seinem

•Die Körperhaltung ist das Gebet des Körpers, sagen uns die geistlichen Lehrmeister. Daher kommt jedem Moment eine besondere Position der Hände, des Körpers, ja der ganzen Person zu: Sitzend machen wir uns die Haltung des auf-merksamen Zuhörers zu eigen; aufrecht stehend fühlen wir uns auf brüderlicher Wanderschaft zusammen mit allen anderen; die ausgebreiteten Arme des Zeleberanten und der übrigen Pries-ter erinnern uns an den auferstandenen Herrn, der seine leuchtenden Wundmale zeigte; deshalb bleiben sie während der feierlichen Gebete und vor allem beim Hochgebet die ganze Zeit aus-gestreckt.

•MusikundGesang sind Ausdrucksformen, die sich sehr dazu eignen, Identität und Zusammen-gehörigkeit enstehen zu lassen, das Bewußtsein, einer großen Familie anzugehören: Der Familie Gottes.

Mit diesen uns durch die Tradition überlieferten Seinsweisen machen wir uns nunmehr daran, die Feier der Heiligen Nacht zu gestalten.

Diese Mitternachtsmesse am Heiligen Abend in unserer Kathedrale wird in der Landesprache, also auf Mallorquin, gehalten; wir haben dieses He…für Euch vorbereitet, damit Ihr dem Verlauf der Meßfeier folgen könnt und vor allen Dingen die Lesungen und Lieder in Eurer Sprache vor Euch habt. In diesem Jahr zelebriert Msgr. Javier Salinas Viñals, Bi-schof von Mallorca, die Messe. Zunächst begrüßt er alle Anwesenden und wünscht Ihnen Frieden und Freude, die immer mit der Geburt Jesu Christi verbunden sind.

DIE PREDIGT VON “LA CALENDA”

Anschließend verliest nach alter mallorquinischer Tradition ein Kind die Predigt von «la Calenda». Die Geburt des Jesuskindes wird den Gläubigen so auf eine sehr zarte Weise verkündet. Dieser Text stammt von dem Domherrn, Voklskundler und Philologen Anto-ni-Maria Alcover.

Das Volk, das im Dunkel lebt, schaut ein großes Licht; über denen, die im Land der Finsternis wohnen, erstrahlt ein Licht. Du machst laut den Jubel, groß die Freude. Man freut sich vor dir, wie man sich freut in der Ernte, wie man jubelt beim Verteilen der Beute. Denn sein lastendes Joch, den Stock auf seiner Schulter, den Stab des Treibers zerbrichst du wie am Tag von Mídian. Die Soldatenstiefel, deren dröhnenden Marschtritt sie noch im Ohr haben, und die blutbeflekten Soldatenmän-tel werden ins Feuer geworfen und verbrannt. Denn ein Kind ist uns geboren, ein Sohn uns geschenkt. Die Herr-schaft ruht auf seiner Schulter. Man gibt ihm die Namen: “Wunderrat, Gottheld, Ewigvater, Friedensfürst.”

Dann ist der große und schreckliche Tag nahe, an dem ich Gericht halte. Man wird seine Vorzeichen sehen am Himmel und auf der Erde: Menschen liegen erschla-gen in ihrem Blut, Flammen und Rauchwolken steigen auf; die Sonne verfinstert sich, und der Mond wird blut-rot. Aber jeder, der sich zu mir bekennt, wird gerettet.

In jener Zeit, wenn ich das Geschick Judas und Jerusa-lems wende, werde ich alle Völker zusammenrufen und sie in das Tal führen, das den Namen trägt Der Herr richtet.

So sollen die Völker aufgeboten werden und in das Tal mit dem Namen Der Herr richtet ziehen. Dort werde ich auf dem Richterstuhl sitzen und sie zur Rechenschaft ziehen, alle die Völker ringsum.

Sonne und Mond verfinstern sich, und die Sterne verlöschen.

Himmel und Erde erzittern. Doch für sein Volk ist der Herr eine sichere Zuflucht und schützende Burg.

Gemäß einer mittelalterlichen Tradition erklingt in der Heiligen Nacht auf Mallorca der Gesang der Sibil·la:

er verkündet, daß dieses Kind, das heute zu unserer Er-lösung geboren wurde, am Ende der Zeiten als Richter wiederkehren wird, um diejenigen zu belohnen, die an ihn glaubten und ihm dienten.

In jenen Tagen erließ Kaiser Augustus den Befehl, die gesamte Bevölkerung des Reiches in Steuerlisten einzu-tragen. Diese Eintragung war die erste und geschah, als Quirinius Statthalter von Syrien war. Da begab sich jeder in seine Stadt, um sich eintragen zu lassen. So ging auch Josef von der Stadt Nazaret in Galiläa hinauf nach Ju-däa in die Stadt Davids, die Bethlehem heißt, weil er aus dem Haus und Geschlecht Davids war, um sich mit Ma-ria, seiner Vermählten, die schwanger war, eintragen zu lassen. Als sie dort waren, kam für sie die Zeit der Nie-derkunft, und sie gebar ihren Sohn, den Erstgeborenen, wickelte ihn in Windeln und legte ihn in eine Krippe, weil in der Herberge kein Platz für sie war.

In dieser Gegend lagerten Hirten auf freiem Feld und hielten Nachtwache bei ihrer Herde.

Da trat der Engel des Herrn zu ihnen, und der Glanz des Herrn umstrahlte sie; und es befiel sie große Furcht. Der Engel aber sprach zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht, denn ich verkünde euch große Freude, die dem ganzen Volk zuteil werden soll: Heute ist euch der Retter geboren in der Stadt Davids; er ist der Christus, der Herr. Und dies soll euch als Zeichen dienen: Ihr werdet ein Kind finden, das in Windeln gewickelt in einer Krippe liegt.

Und plötzlich war bei dem Engel eine große himm-lische Schar; sie lobte Gott und sprach: Verherrlicht ist Gott in der Höhe, und Friede ist auf der Erde bei den Menschen seiner Huld.

Jede Eucharistiefeier läßt uns lebhaft Anteil nehmen am Heilsgeschehen, das der Vater in Menschwerdung, Geburt, Tod und Auferstehung seines Sohnes für uns bereitet hat, und das in der Weihnacht seinen Ausgang nimmt.

Dann stimmt im Namen aller der Zelebrant das Hochgebet, das Gebet der Danksagung an: es wird an das Heil erinnert, das Jesus Christus uns durch sein Kommen gebracht hat; es findet die Anrufung der Macht Gottes (des Heiligen Geistes) über die Opfergaben statt, auf daß sie sich in Leib und Blut Christi wandeln, aber auch über uns alle, die wir am Mahl teilnehmen, damit wir zum Leib des Herrn werden: zu lebendigen Gliedern des Leibes, deren Haupt er ist, vereint im Glauben und in der Liebe zu seinem einzigen Opfer, um unser gan-zes Leben, alles, was wir sind, darzugeben zum Lob und Ruhm des Vaters.
