MY BRAND STORYI became interested in advertising when I discovered the unbelievable depth of the industry, and the ability it gives me to express both my analytical and creative tendencies (and a little bit of humor here and there as well). My love of literature has inspired in me a particular drive to write, as well as a deep appreciation for the written word. I hope to pursue this interest through the crafting of inventive and effective ad copy.

I am a collaborative person, and enjoy working with others to fulfill projects in which we each have specific and essential roles. It is my belief that this type of unselfish collaboration fosters both professional and personal growth in participants.

From a young age I have been what some may consider to be an obsessive perfectionist. I am driven to work until the final product meets the standards that myself and those I am working both for and with have previously set. I go into a project with certain expectations, and until these expectations are met, the project is not completed. This passion for achievement is accompanied by a certain flexibility, or the understanding that with true success comes a few failures the first (…or second, third, etc.) time around.

I use my compassion, approachability, and willingness to provide help to better the experiences of those I work alongside. My cynicism (and occasional sarcasm) aids me in staying grounded and realistic when dealing with clients and those who may otherwise benefit from my creative skills. I am dedicated and goal-oriented, and will perform the job to the best of my abilities time and time again, no matter the effort this work may require.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SAMANTHA

8:00 A.M.

Reluctantly crawl out of bed and brush the cat hair off my PJs

8:30 A.M.

Grab a breakfast bar (then leave it on the coffee table); say goodbye to my pets before heading to work

9:00 A.M.

Arrive (surprisingly on time) at BOHAN, after jamming + road rage on the way

9:30 A.M.

Make myself a bagel (while trying not to break the toaster) after doing some preliminary work on a project

Work on project, socialize, become distracted by social media for 30 minutes 12:00

P.M.– 1:00 P.M.

Spend too much money on lunch

Jam out to some tunes, continue working on project, field constant emails from my mom 3:00

P.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Come to a stopping point on project, eat some chocolate

Make it home from work, feed the pets, make myself some dinner and hang out
