Work Experience
Engineers in Action Intern-La Paz, Bolivia (06/15-08-15)
Oversaw the construction and implementation of a water collection system which fed to a tank
that distributed clean water to 30 homes in a rural community. First time running water was made
available in their homes, reducing family’s 2 mile journey for drinkable water. Made life and
daily operations of showering and meal prep more sustainable.
Undergraduate Researcher-Illinois Institute of Technology (01/16-present)
Developed phase diagrams for Bio-composites of Algae and Cyanobacteria through varying
concentrations for Biofuel application Undergraduate Researcher-Lewis University (01/14-12/14)
Synthesized and characterized quantum dot-doped scintillators through spectroscopic techniques
involving IR Spectrometers, Fluorometers, Red-Tide spectrometers and laser diffraction particle
size analyzers.
Optimized the performance of dye-sensitized solar cells. Presented for Lewis College
Undergraduate Research symposium.
