DESCRIPCIÓN ADULTO

Pequeño (1.5 mm) cuerpo con espinas. Ventosa ventral en la línea media cerca de la cual se abre el poro genital y puede tener ventosa genital. Testículos ovales. Cirro sin bolsa. Vesícula seminal. Ovarios anteriores a testículos. Glándulas vitelógenas laterales y posteriores. Útero enrollado con pocos huevos.

PATOGENIA Heterofiasis: diarrea, miocarditis.

DIAGNÓSTICO Huevos en heces 30 x 15 micras operculado sin protuberancia terminal.
