Preparing thin blood films  Thin films are usual haematological smears. They are used to do differential leukocyte counts and morphological evaluation of blood cells from venous and capillary blood samples.   

To prepare a film you have to proceed as explained in the chart, but you have to order the different actions on the cells by using one of the connectors in the box below:

allow the blood to spread along the edge by capillarity.
