t is somewhat di(cult to really tell how serious a problem drinking ison college campuses because studies rely on surveys, which can beinaccurate. &ccording to Christian Science Monitor, surveys suggestthat 4 out of 5 college students drink, and that half of those who drinkregularly engage in binge drinking. )his statistic probably varies fromcampus to campus. *ometimes colleges who are known as 'partyschools' have more problems with 'binge drinking'.

    Drink Proportions

#ther than the dierences between campuses, how college studentsmeasure the proportions of alcoholic drinks makes it hard to tell whatkinds of drinking habits are dominant on campuses. &ccording to astudy published in the &pril 2++5 issue ofAlcoholism: Clinical andE!erimental Research, when researchers asked students to pourdrinks of dierent types, they tended to overpour. t might be helpful ifkids learned the right serving amounts for dierent types of alcohol.6ere is a list of measurements for one serving for the dierent types ofalcoholic beverages
