The6700LiquidLevelIndicator(LLI)isaneconomical,easytoinstall

measurementdeviceutilizingatargetandgaugeboardtoindicate

tank

level.

The

indicator

displays

liquid

level

(product

innage)

to

an

accuracyof1"(25mm).Designedforuseonavarietyofatmospheric

andlowpressurestoragevessels,the6700maybeinstalledonboth

inserviceandoutofservicetanks.

ExampleTankGaugingSystem

Changesintheliquidlevelofthetankraiseorlowerthefloat,which

movestheindicatorcable.Cablemovementdrivestheindicatorup

anddownthegaugeboardonthesideofthetank.Theliquidlevelin

feetandinchesormetersanddecimetersisshownbytheindicator

positiononthegaugeboard.Theusermaythenconverttheliquid

leveltounitsofvolume.Thismaybeaccomplishedmanuallyorby

usinginventorymanagementsoftware,suchasFuelsManager.

applicationsforthe6700LiquidLevelIndicator(LLI).Includedwith

each6700LLIareallcomponentsnecessaryforinstallation,except

Thealuminumgaugeboardisprovidedin7ft(2.1m)sectionsand

boardis0.8"(2mm)thickwithavinylfacingofEnglishorMetric

unitsofmeasure.

TheFloatGroundingKitpositivelygroundsthefloattothetapeor

cable.(Part#1310974).

TeflonTapeWipe

Generallyusedwiththeconduitvent,theTapeWipe(Model2546)

canalsobeusedalone.TheTapeWipemountsintheconduit

betweenthetopofthetankandthefirstelbowandremovesexcess

residuefromthetape.Itminimizesvaporlossfromthetankintothe

conduitandhelpspreventvaporsandliquidsfromcontaminating

thegaugehead(Part#BA13924).
