    Qué son los Anticuerpos (Acs)?

    • Glucoproteínas del plasma o suero, se clasifican

    tradicionalmente por sus características de:

    *Solubilidad

    *Migración de corrimiento

    electroforético.

    Se descubrieron…

    • Una de las primeras

    • Los Acs se unen a

    los Ags de forma

    específica, tantoen la Fase de

    Reconocimiento

    como en las Fase

    Distribución Natural de los Acs

    • Los Acs se

    distribuyen en los

    líquidos biológicos

    por todo el cuerpo

    y se encuentran

    en la superficie

    de un número

    limitado de tipos

    celulares.

    Estructura de los Anticuerpos (Acs)

    • Todas las moléculasde Acs comparten las

    mismas

    característicasestructuralesbásicas, peromuestran una

hipervariabilidad importante en lasregiones que unen a

    los Ags.

    tiene una estructura

    básica simétrica

    compuesta por:

    *2 cadenas ligeras

    *2 cadenas pesadas

    • Tanto las cadenas ligeras como las cadenas

pesadas contienen regiones de a.a variables (v)

que participan en el reconocimiento Antigénico; ylas regiones COO-  constantes ( c ), de las

cadenas pesadas son las que median las

    funciones efectoras.

    • En las cadenas pesadas la

    región v se

compone de un dominio de Ac

    (Ig) y la región

    constante de

    3 o más dominios Ac ó Ig´s.
