COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE One of the petitions of the Parishioners, as result of the PAR program questionnaires, was to have a better medium to transmit all of what's happening at Parish level. Therefore, one of the goals of the Administration Commission is to form a Communications Committee. This committee will consist of 6 members; they must be bilingual with basic computer skills. The committee’s task would be: Create a committee to maintain website and keep the it
attractive Explore ideas related to the bulletin Maintain the Parish website active and attractive Produce parish brochures, signs, and bulletin boards Create and maintain a bulletin board in church, parish
hall and meeting places. In other words, the task of this committee would be to investigate different options to keep parishioners informed of all activities taking place. If you are interested in being part of this committee, we invite you to contact Lupe Zamora in the Parish office for more details at (209) 869-2996. Come and make a difference in our Community.
Faithful Citizenship "We need to participate for the common good. Sometimes we hear: a good Catholic is not interested in politics. This is not true: good Catholics
immerse themselves in politics by offering the best of themselves so that the leader can govern." - Pope Francis

—Peter Scagnelli, Copyright © J. JUBILEE YEAR OF MERCY NOVEMBER 6, 2016
THIRTY-SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
Jubilee for Pris- oners One of the most moving images of Pope Francis’ ministry comes from Holy Thursday. Slowly, deliberately, Francis kneels down before prisoners—men, women, young, old, Christian, Muslim—and washes their feet, recalling Jesus admonition to Peter: “If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet” (John 13:14). On today’s Jubilee for Prisoners, whose rights the Church bids us advocate, Jesus declares in the Gospel, “to [God] all are alive” (Luke 20:38). Have we “imprisoned” anyone figuratively, but no less painfully, passing harsh judgment, then refusing our respect, acceptance, even affection? This month of All Saints and All Souls bids us reflect on our eternal destiny and prepare for it. Respect for ourselves and others, souls and bodies, practical care for neighbors and strangers: such witness affirms that we view our present in light of our future, and believe that, even now, in our midst, stands the Lord of life, the living Jesus. —Peter Scagnelli, Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co., Inc.

Ayudar a producir diferentes folletos.

DIOCESES OF GALLUP, NEW MEXICO MISSION APPEAL
Fr. Josh Mayer, from the Diocese of Gal-lup, New Mexico, will be at all the Mass-es, preaching and telling us a little about the mission diocese that he serves in.
