When playing a game that alternatesbetween holding a Wii Remote andholding the Wii U GamePad, make sure tokeep the GamePad nearby.

When you place the GamePad on thefloor, put it on a flat surface. Make surethere is enough room around theGamePad to play safely. Stepping on orkicking the GamePad can lead to injury ordamage to the GamePad.

Some games are played by turning theGamePad around and showing the screento other players. If the GamePad becomesdifficult to hold in this position, pleaseput the GamePad on a stable surface, likea table or your lap.

When playing with the GamePad on thefloor or when playing a GamePad Partygame, make sure the GamePad is notbeing charged at the same time. If yourhands or feet get caught in the Wii UGamePad AC adapter cord, it could leadto injury or damage to the GamePad.

When playing Water Runners in HouseParty mode, make sure there is plenty ofspace around you and do not make anyvigorous movements. This could lead toinjuries or damage to the GamePad andother nearby things.
