Assays • Growth / Proliferation Test Cells were seeded on 6-well plates (2x104/well). The medium was changed after a first incubation period, the cell number was counted and pictures were taken. • UV Exposure Damage Test Cells were seeded on 96-well plates (5x103/well), the medium was changed after a first incubation period and the cells were exposed to UV radiation afterwards. The MTS assay was performed after 48 hours. Results Malus Domestica stem cell extract shows a promoting effect on stem cell growth. It also shows a protective effect against UV damage.
