Números ordinalesLos números ordinales se usan para darle orden a situaciones, objetos o personas, generalmente cuando se están haciendo listados de cosas o cuando se están narrando una serie de eventos. Nos dan la idea de qué va de primero, de segundo, etc.Ejemplos:

First (1st): Write your name and address. Second (2nd): Write about your work experience. Third (3rd):Sign the form.

María, first (1st). Gerardo, second(2nd). David, third (3rd).

My baby’s first (1st) word was "car".

My father’s second (2nd) wife is very pretty.

Números cardinales:Los números cardinales se usan para contar cosas. Corresponden al nombre del número exacto que queremos expresar, se refieren a la cantidad:
