During the Middle Ages, images depicting demons and the Devil emphasized grotesque, animalistic physical features. These characteristics were also assigned to those believed to be in the employ of Satan and his demons, i.e. Jews. Imagery depicting Jews as monstrous or physically grotesque became more and more commonplace. At present we can see good examples of this kind of demons even in popular movies (e.g. "Watto" from Star Wars):Durante la Edad Media las imgenes que representaban demonios y al diablo destacaban caractersticas fsicas grotescas.
