LAS LENGUASLAS LENGUAS
La competencia lingüística comunicativa que tiene el alumno o usuario de la lengua se pone en funcionamiento con la realización de distintas actividades de la lengua que comprenden la comprensión, la expresión, la interacción o la mediación (en concreto, interpretando o traduciendo). La comunicación y el aprendizaje suponen la realización de tareas que no son sólo de carácter lingüístico, aunque conlleven actividades de lengua y requieran de la competencia comunicativa del individuo que requieren del uso de estrategias en la comunicación y en el aprendizaje.

Seis pasos para diseñar unidades didácticas
Establecer el tema y el contenido
Planificar la tarea final
Determinar los objetivos
Especificar el contenido, tanto del tema a tratar como el lingüístico, necesario para poder completar con éxito la tarea final
Planear el proceso: seleccionar el input,determinar las tareas comunicativas y capacitadoras y secuenciar.
Diseñar el procedimiento y las herramientas de evaluación tanto del proceso como de las producciones para poder determinar el grado de consecución de las competencias del curriculum.

Checklist to go about researching a particular biome:
1. - In your group decide which one of the Earth’s biomes
you are going to investigate, be sure that another group has not chosen it.
2. - Remember the mind map of all the factors contributing to a biome and make a list of the information you need to cover.
3. - Divide up the work in your group and establish dates for each partner to have his or her work done by.
4. - Show your individual work to your teacher for correction.
5. - Proceed with the final version of your individual work.
6. - Prepare a poster where the main aspects and factors of your biome are clearly stated, including maps, diagrams, pictures...
7. - Prepare a presentation to explain your biome to the rest of the class.
