• En el caso de DCI, no se pasan bucles entre DC

El futuro del DCI
Cómo son las redes de transporte hoy en día?
una red física con túneles por encima MPLS antiguamente: X25, Frame Relay, ATM
PERO, surge un nuevo protocolo llamado VxLAN usado para Overlay en el mundo virtual del DC.
Y porque no….
El DCI overlay sobre VXLAN ya existe con Pluribus. Podemos simular redes punto a punto y redes punto multipunto de L2 sobre túneles VXLAN y sin preocuparnos de STP.
