Speech recognition is the process by which acomputer (or other type of machine) identifiesspoken words. Basically, it means talking to a

computer & having it correctly understand whatyou are saying. Speech recognition is an alternative to

traditional methods of interacting with acomputer,such as textual input through akeyboard. An effective system can replace, orreduce the reliability on, standard keyboard andmouse input.

Signal processing : sound is received throughmicrophone in the fom of analog signals.

Speech recognition: it involves recognition ofwords by using certain algos like DynamicTime Warping algo.

Response Generation: this involves thegeneration of output i.e in the text format.

Isolated word RS. Connected word RS.

Spontaneous speech RS. Voice verification and identification.

Dynamic Time Warping:Helps to recognize the word by comparing it

with the stored word templates.

Two level security lock. To embed this technology in the latest versions

of cars. To implement its security aspect remotely, may

be telephonically. Banks and MNCs can use this type of

applications as security as the authenticity ofspeaker will be governed marvelously.

Telebanking can use actual speakers voiceinstead of his phone number as the the securitymeasure.

Wide range of libriary so that people of different

dialect may not find it difficult to use.
