Dimatik….2005ean jaio zenetik Climbing Masteraren (Dimarock)helburua, munduko eskalatzailerik onenak bilduz, kiroleskalada bultzatzea izan da. Ekitaldi hau lau urtez Dimanantolatu da eta, bide honetan, kirol henen erreferentebihurtu da, bai estatu zein nazioarteko mailan.Climbing Master honen burututako lau edizio hauetan,milaka pertsona izan dira parte hartu dutenak, proposatudiren eskalada inguruko ekitaldietan. Plazan eraiki denrokodromo ikusgarrian burutu diren zailtasun eskaladatxapelketa ezberdinekin batera, beste konpetizio motaberriak ere proposatu ditugu, horra hor blokeko mundukoizarrek egindako desafioak, edota publiko guztiarizabaldutako gonbidapena, Herri Block txapelketaherrikoia.

….Durangora2009an Climbing Masterrak kokagunea aldatzen du,Durangoko Landako feria gunea eta inguruko parkeaizango dira nazioarteko txapelketa honen lekuko. Izenberria ere estreinatuko dugu, Dur&go, izen orokorhonetatik datoz burutuko diren txapelketen izen berriak:Clim&go (Nazioarteko Master); Block&go(Bloke Master);Herri Blok (Bloke herritarra).Txapelketa proposamen berri hauek dira, Dur&go ClimbingMasterrari nortasuna emango diotenak, ikuskizun berria,publikoa unkitzeko beste era bat, parte hartzeko eraezberdinak,…..Nazioarteko maila duten eskalatzaile guztiak,gizonezkoak zein emakumezkoak, Dura&gon ikustekoaukera izango dugu. Eta honela dio IFSCk (NazioartekoEskalada Federazioa) 2009ko edizioari ere bere zildaiaeman bait dio.Guzti honek, munduko kirol eskaladan, nortasun bereziaeman dio txapelketa ulertzeko era berri honi, ClimbingMasterraren zigilua hain zuzen ere: berrikuntzak txapelketaformatoetan, eskalatzaile guztiak parte hartzeko moduenproposamenak, espektakulua, eta emozioa. De Dima…Desde su nacimiento en 2005 el objetivo del ClimbingMaster —denominado Dimarock—, que ha reunido a losmejores especialistas del mundo ha sido la difusión dela escalada deportiva; un evento que se ha venidorealizando durante cuatro ediciones en Dima y que seha convertido en referente estatal y mundial de estedeporte.En las cuatro ediciones celebradas del Climbing Masterhan sido miles las personas que han disfrutado de unprograma con múltiples actividades que giran alrededorde la escalada. Junto a las competiciones de escaladade dificultad en el espectacular rocódromo al aire libreque alberga el Master, en este evento se han puestoen marcha propuestas competitivas muy innovadoras,como los desafíos en boulder de las mayores figurasmundiales de bloque o la increíble fiesta de escaladapara todos los públicos que supone el Herri Block.

Orografia. Durangok Ibaizabal errekaren ezker ertzeanzabalgune bat osatzen du. Hegoaldean, geruza ia bertikalakdituen antiklinal estu eta puskatu txiki batek mendikateaosatzen du: ekialdetik mendebalderantz Udala, Anbotoeta Alluitz mendiak aurkitzen ditugu. Udalerri barruanaipatzekoak dira Pagasarri (838 m.) eta Neberondo mendiak(453 m.). Bata zein bestea, karstiko erako karezkomendisail baten barruan aurkitzen dira.Biztanleria. 1940. urtetik hona Durangok etengabekohazkuntza demografikoa ezagutu izan du, batez ere,inguruan ezarri ziren industria ugarien eraginez. 80.hamarkadan, joera honek nolabaiteko geldialdia izan zuenkrisi ekonomikoaren ondorioz. Mende erditik honaemandako biztanleria gorakadaren arrazoirik nagusienaDurangaldeko nekazal munduko eta itsas herrietakoinmigrazioan aurkitu behar da eta, batez ere, bastelurraldeetako biztanleriaren etorreran. Atxarten Untzilaitz edotaAitz-Txikiko espoloiak toki oso aproposak dira eskaladaegiteko. Hor dago baita ere Alluitzen mendebaldekohorma eta Anbotoko ekialdekoa, azken honetan bideluzeenak aurkitu ahal ditugu. Toki guzti hauetaneskalatzaile asko biltzen dira.

Orografía: Durango ocupa un espacio abierto en la orillaizquierda del río Ibaizábal. Hacia el Sur, un pequeñoanticlinal, comprimido y fracturado, con las capas casiverticales, ha dado origen a una crestería que continúahacia el Este por las cimas del Alluitz, Anboto,... Dentrodel Municipio destacan el monte Pagasarri (838 mts.) yel monte Neberondo (453 mts.), situados en un macizocalizo con numerosas formaciones de tipo karstico.Población: Durango ha experimentado un crecimientodemográfico contínuo, a partir de 1940 al amparo de lasnumerosas industrias instaladas en sus cercanías. Estatendencia experimentó un estancamiento en la décadade los 80 como consecuencia de la crisis económica.Este aumento, en gran medida, ha sido consecuencia dela llegada de inmigrantes de las zonas rurales delduranguesado y comarcas litorales de Bizkaia, y sobretodo de otras regiones. Hecho que explica la juventudde su pirámide de edades. La población de Durango es,según censo de octubre de 2004, de 26.516 habitantes,de los cuales 12.989 son varones y 13.527 mujeres.Actividad Económica: Durango es una ciudad mediade servicios, estratégicamente colocada en la geografíade la comunidad autónoma. Tiene un importante sectorindustrial dedicado principalmente a la fundición yfabricación de herramientas. Es cabeza de una comarcaque ocupa el valle medio y alto del río Ibaizábal, dondeel sector servicios se encuentra muy desarrollado en lasáreas de comercio, servicios públicos, transportes, bancosy seguros.Comunicaciones. Durango se encuentra a 30 kms. deBilbao. Dispone de buenas comunicaciones por carretera.Cuenta con un rápido acceso a la autopista Bilbao-Behobiay a la carretera N-634 Bilbao-Eibar-San Sebastián.Carreteras comarcales le unen con Vitoria, B1-623 víaIzurtza, y Elorrio, B1-632. Además cuenta con carreteraslocales a Orozketa y Matiena.Las compañías de autobuses Bizkaibus, Pesa y ContinentalAuto mantienen líneas regulares con el municipio, asícomo Eusko Tren (línea Bilbao-Hendaia).Naturaleza: Durango se encuentra a tan solo 8 km delParque Natural de Urkiola. Declarado como tal en 1989,conforma una zona de gran belleza e interés geográficoy paisajístico. En el alto de Urkiola y rodeado de unbosque de hayas, fresnos y abedules, descubriremos elSantuario de San Antonio Abad (patrono de los animales,con fiesta el 17 de enero) y San Antonio de Padua(celebrado el 13 de junio).Escalada: Las crestas del Duranguesado constituyenuno de los más interesantes conjuntos del País Vasco.Elmonte Untzillaitz o los espolones de Ait-Txiki, en eldesfiladero de Atxarte, son puntos ideales para la prácticade escalada en roca. También la cara oeste de Alluitz yla este de Anboto, donde se encuentra la ascensión máslarga y dificultosa de la sierra, son puntos muyfrecuentados por los escaladores.

In the south, an anticlinal and faultedarea, having almost vertical sheets, has led to a crestingwhich continues to the East through the summits ofAlluitz, Anboto… The most outstanding mountains arePagasarri (838 metres) and Neberondo (453 metres) insolid limestone land having new karts formations.

Population: Durango has undergone a continuousdemographic growth since 1940 due to the new industriesaround the city. This trend suffered from stagnation inthe decade of the 80s as consequence of the economicalcrisis. Mainly, this growth has been the consequence ofthe arrival of immigrants from rural areas and other villagesin Biscay. The population in Durango, according to 2004census, is 26,516 inhabitants, being 12,989 men and13,527 women.

Economical Activities: Durango is a service city,strategically located in the geography of the BasqueCountry. It has an important industrial sector mainly basedon the smelting and manufacturing of tools. Durango isthe main city in the valley of the Idiázabal river, wherethe services sector is very well developed in the areasof commerce, public services, means of transport, banksand insurances.

Communications: Durango is 30 km. away from Bilbao.It has useful communications by road. It has a quickaccess to the motorway Bilbao-Behobia and the road N-634 Bilbao-Eibar-San Sebastián. Secondary roads link toVitoria, B1-623 via Izurtza, and Elorrio, B1-632. Furthermore,Durango has local roads to Orozketa and Matiena.

Nature: Durango is only 8 km. away from Urkiola NaturalPark which makes up the beautiful area and geographicallyinteresting. In the top part of Urkiola and surrounded bybeech trees, ash trees and birches, we will discover SanAntonio Abad Sanctuary (patron saint of the animals,holiday: January 17) and San Antonio de Padua (holiday:June 13).

Climbing: The crests in Durango area comprise one ofthe most interesting sets in the Basque Country.Untzillaitz or the spurs of Ait-Txiki, in the Atxarte ravine,are ideal locations to practice rock climbing. The westside of Alluitz and the east side of Anboto are alsosuitable sites where the longest and most difficultascents in the mountain rage.

Ekitaldia Landako Gunea pabiloian eta ingurukoparkean burutuko da. Pabi loi barruan Bouldertxapelketak(Block&go eta Herri Block) eta zailtasuntxapelketak parkean eraik iko den rokodromoerraldoian.

Rokodromoa Waltopia empresak altxatuko du, etainstalazioak, IFSCek zailtasun txapelketak burutu ahalizateko eskatzen dituen baldintza guztiak beteko ditu.Esan behar baita ere, egitura honen maila teknikoaeta ikusgarritasuna ez duela parekorik estatu mailan.

Dur&goko rokodromoaren ezaugarriak hauexek dira:

Txapelketak

Proposamena 7 egunetako egitarauan 6 txapelketaburutzea da. Txapelketak egiteaz gain, egun hautan,haurrentzako ekitaldiak izango ditugu, txikiek ereeskalatzeko aukera izan dezaten.

Bi egitura bi eskalada mota garatzeko.

Boulder edo blokea: Muturreko zailtasun eskalada,bide laburrak, mugimendu gutxikoak, eskalada arazoakizenekoa, zailtasuna bere muturreraino eramanda.Sokarik gabe, eskalatzailea, arazoa burututa zeinburutu gabe koltxonetara erori behar du. Egiturarenaltuera inoiz ez da 5 m.tik pasatzen. Mogimendu ezinikusgarriagoak, ikuskizun paregabea.

Zailtasuna: Zailtasun frogak rokodromoan burutukodira, sokarekin, 16 m.ko altuera, eskalatzaileakmugimendu asko kateatu behar ditu, 20-25 metrotakobidea gaindituz.

El evento se desarrollará en el pabellón de LandakoGunea y en el parque anexo. Dentro del pabellón secelebrarán las competiciones de Boulder (Block&Go yHerri Block) y el espectacular rocódromo que albergarálas pruebas de dificultad se instalará en el parqueadyacente.El rocódromo será instalada por la empresa Walltopiay cumple todas los reglamentos de la IFSN para albergarcompeticiones internacionales y es una de las estructurasmás espectaculares y con mayor nivel técnico que sehan instalado nunca en el Estado.Las características del rocódromo del Dur&Go son lassiguientes:Medidas: 16 metros de altura; 12 metros de ancho en labase y 15 metros de anchura máxima.Superficie de escalada: 120 m2

Recorrido de las vías: Entre 15 y 20 metrosaproximadamenteInclinación media: 125-135º, aprox.Número de seguros: 50Número de descuelgues: 2Número de anclajes de presas: 3.000En total, el espacio dedicado a las competiciones deescalada deportiva de Dur&Go será de unos 8.000metros cuadrados aproximadamente.Además, en la mítica escuela de escalada de Atxarte,en Abadiño, se celebrará el maratón de escalada AtxarteFree.

Las competicionesLa propuesta consiste en desarrollar 6 competiciones en7 días de programa. Durante estos días además de lacompeticiones se mantendrá un programa infantil/juvenilcon prácticas de escalada para los más pequeños, conhorario para grupos escolares (horario lectivo) e individualDos estructuras diferentes para dos modalidades deescalada diferentes.Boulder o bloque: Escalada de dificultad extrema, serealizan “problemas”, itinerarios cortos, con pocosmovimientos, pero muy difíciles. No se utiliza cuerda, elescalador cae siempre (resuelva o no el problema) sobrela colchoneta, se escala siempre por debajo de los 5 mde altura. Movimientos explosivos, espectaculares.Dificultad: Se escala en el rocódromo, con cuerda, sellega a los +/- 16m de altura, son itinerarios queencadenan gran número de movimientos ofreciendoun gran espectáculo.

The event will take place Ganako Gunea pavilion andthe annexed park. The Boulder competitions (Block&Goand Herri Block) will take place inside the pavilion andthe spectacular Climbing Wall will be installed in theannexed park.The Climbing Wall will be installed by the companyWalltopia and it fulfils all the regulations establishedby IFSN to be home of international competitions andit is one of the most spectacular structures in Spain.The characteristics of the Dur&Go Climbing Wall areas follows:Measurements: 16 metres high; 12 metres width inthe base and 15 metres maximum width.Surface for climbing: 120 m2.Path of the tracks: Approximately between 15 and 20metres.Average Slope: Approximately 125-135ºNumber of belay stations: 50Number of lowering stations : 2Number of holds : 3,000Altogether, the space for the sports climbing com-petitions of Dur&Go will approximately be 8,000 squaremetres.Furthermore, the climbing marathon Atxarte Free willbe celebrated in the climbing school of Atxarte, inAbadiño.

The competitionsThe proposal consists of developing 6 competitions ina 7-day schedule. Apart from the competitions, achild/young schedule will be held during these days,keeping a timetable for school groups (school timetable)or individual.There are two different structures for two differentclimbing methods.Boulder or Block: Climbing of extreme difficulty,“problems” and very difficult short travels, with fewmovements are made. Rope is not used, the climberalways falls down (whether the problem is solved ornot) on the mat, the climbing is always below 5 metresheight. The movements are explosive and spectacular.Difficulty: The building is in the Building Wall, withrope, the height is up to 16 m. The routes imply a greatnumber of movements offering a big show.

Herri block

Bloke herri txapelketa. Bloke egituretan eskaladaarazoak proposatzen dira nahi duenak ekin diezaien.Izen ematea prezio herrikoian eta saiakeren kopurualibre, hau da, eskalatzaileek saiatu ahal dira nahibeste aldiz. Txapelketa mota honek kriston arrakastaizan zuen 2008an, bai publikoaren aldetik bai partehartu zuten eskalatzaileen aldetik. Txapelketa hauasteazkenetik ostegunera arratsaldez eta ostiraleaneta larunbatean egunez eta gauez izango da.

Txapelketa honetan, 2008ko edizioa kontutan hartuta,500 eskalatzailetik gora espero dugu. Ez dagokategoriarik, ez saririk klazifikazioagatik. Parte hartzaileguztiek saria jasotzen dute eta guztien arteanbabesleek emandako opariak zozkatzen dira(beherapen bereziak erosketetan, eskalada tresnak,sarrerak,…). Txapelketa herritarra da, ezformala,parte hartzaileak eta publikoa bat egiten dute.

Block Master: Block&go

Blokeko masterra zortzi gonbidatuekin, lau mutil etalau neska. Bakoitzak, aurretik, bere arazoa diseinatubehar du, besteek ezagutu gabe. Izen handikoeskalatzaile hauek proposatutako arazoak HerriBlocken egondo dira, mundu guztiak froga ditzan.

Txapelketa honetan datza: gonbidatu bakoitzak 15minutu izango du besteek proposatutako arazoakkateatzeko. Laurak batera saiatuko dira, bakoitzaegitura baten. Kirolari bakoitzak 600€ jokatzen du,eta dirua irabazi edo galdu egiten du arazoak burutuedo burtu gabe gelditzen diren neurrian. Azkentxandan, kirolariak norberak diseinatutako arazoarenaurrean aurkituko dira. Arazoa ezagutzearen abantaila,aurreko ahaleginetan bildutako nekearekin orekatzenda. Norberak egindako arazoa ez kateatzeak zigorradu, erreza eginez gero, besteek ere errez burutuahal izango dute. Publikoaren aurrean, txapelketaberezi honek, kriston arrakasta lortzen du, pasadanurteko edizioan ikusi genuen bezala.

Herri Block

Competición de bloque popular. En las estructuras debloque se plantean un número determinado deproblemas que todo aquel que se inscriba intentaresolver. La inscripción tiene un precio popular y cadaparticipante puede intentarlo las veces que quiera. Esteformato supuso un gran éxito de público y participaciónen la edición del 08. Esta competición comenzaría elmiércoles por la tarde, con el inicio del programa, y sedesarrollaría en sesión de tarde el miércoles, jueves yviernes y durante todo el día el sábado y domingo.

Estimamos que la participación superará los 500inscritos. No hay categorías, ni premios a los primerosclasificados. Cada participante recibe un regalo y todosentran en el sorteo de premios donados porcolaboradores (vales descuento, material, entradas ainstalaciones,…).Se trata de una competición popular,informal, en la que participantes y público se funden.

Block Master: Block&Go

Master en bloque con ocho deportistas de éliteinvitados, cuatro chicos y cuatro chicas. Cada uno delos cuatro invitados previamente diseña un problemasin que los demás lo conozcan. Estos problemasformarán parte del Herri block, de forma que todos losaficionados tendrán la posibilidad de intentar escalarproblemas diseñados por sus ídolos.

La competición consiste en que en un tiempopreestablecido (15 minutos) cada figura invitadaintenta resolver los problemas planteados por losotros tres. Esto se realiza simultáneamente, escalandolos 4 a la vez, cada uno en una estructura. Cadadeportista apuesta una cantidad (600€) de la que vaperdiendo o ganando dinero en función de que losdemás resuelvan o no su problema. En el último turnocada escalador intenta resolver el problema que élmismo ha planteado a los demás. La ventaja deconocer cada uno su diseño se equilibra con elcansancio acumulado en los intentos para resolverlos problemas planteados por los demás. No resolverel problema planteado por uno mismo penaliza,hacerlo fácil para evitar la penalización supone dejarloen bandeja para que lo resuelvan los demáscompetidores. El tirón de este formato de competiciónentre el público es indiscutible, como se comprobóen su estreno en la edición de 2008.

Herri Block

Popular Block competitions. A specific number ofproblems are set out in the block structures. Theregistration has a popular price and each competitorcan try as many times as he/she wants. This formatmeant a great success in the public and many peopletook part in 2008 annual competition. This competitionwill start on Wednesday afternoon, being the startingpoint of the competitions and it will be held everyafternoon on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday andduring the whole day on Saturday and Sunday.

We estimate that more than 500 people will take part.There are no categories or prizes for the winners. Eachcompetitor receives a present and all of them take partin a draw of prizes donated by the collaborators (discountvouchers, material, and tickets to installations…). It isa popular and informal competition where competitorsand audience fade.

Block Master: Block&Go

Block Master: Eight elite sports people, four boys andfour girls will take part. Each of the four guests haspreviously designed a problem without being knownby the rest. These problems will be part of the HerriBlock, so all the amateurs will have the possibility oftrying to overcome the problems designed by theiridols.

The competition: Each guest tries to solve the problemdesigned by the rest in a preestablished period of time(15 min.). This is performed simultaneously, this is,the four climbers climb at the same time in differentstructures. Each climber begs an amount of money(600€), and this money is lost or won depending onthe capacity of the rest to solve the problems. In thelast turn, each climber tries to solve the problem setout by himself/herself for the rest. The advantage ofknowing their designs is balance with the accumulatedtiredness in the attempts to solve the other problems.Non-resolving the problem set out by himself/herselfpenalizes, whereas setting out an easy problem toavoid the penalization makes the remaining competitorssolve the problem easily. The success of thiscompetition format is undeniable, as it was shown inthe premiere in 2008.

Rock Master zailkapen froga:Clim&goDueluak rokodromoan Climbing Mastereko gonbidatueneta estatu mailako eskalatzaileen artean, duelu hauetatikZailtasun Masterrean parte hartuko duten eskalatzaileenzerrenda intergo da.Bi bide paralelo proposatzen dira, bi eskalatzaile, bidebakoitzean bat eta biak batera erlojuaren kontraeskalatzen. Irabazlea bi bideak denpora gutxieneskalatzen dituena da. Txapelketa mota honetanzailtasuna ez da zailtasun oizko frogetan bezain gogorra,beraz, aukera asko dago, eskalatza i le guzt iakproposatutako bideak burutzeko.Publikoaren aurreanoso erakargarria, ikuskizun ezin hobea, eskaladalasterketa erlojuaren kontrakoa, guzti honi gehitu behardiogu, bertako eskalatzaileak ere, lanean ikustekoaukera izango dugula. Duelu bakoitzeko irabazleasailkatzen da eta horrela finalera heldu arte. Banakako froga honetaneskalatzaileek ez dute bidea aurretik ezagutzen etazailtasuna mutur muturrekoa da. Irabazlea altuen heltzendena da, ez dago kronometrorik, bai ordea, gehienezkodenpora lana burutzeko. Berdinketa suertatuko balitz,Super Finala proposatzen da, bidea aldatzen da, etaparra egin dutenak berriz eskalatzera. Final honetanparra eginez gero( ea gerta ezina) saria bien arteanbanatuko litzateke. Espektakulu aparta mundukoeskalatzaile onenekin.

Clasificatoria Rock Master: Clim&Go

Competición entre los deportistas invitados al ClimbingMaster y escaladores y escaladoras estatales de élite enel rocódromo en formato duelos, que servirá para decidirquiénes son los integrantes del Master de Dificultad. Seequipan dos vías paralelas. Dos escaladores, uno encada vía y los dos simultáneamente, escalan bajo lapresión del cronómetro. El vencedor es el que menostiempo invierte en escalar las dos vías. En esta modalidadla dificultad del itinerario no es tan extrema como enuna competición con formato habitual, así que lasposibilidades de encadenar la vía por parte de todos losdeportistas es muy alta. Es un formato que atrapa alpúblico, muy espectacular, con el aliciente de la carreray el cronómetro además de la participación deescaladores locales. De cada duelo se clasifica el vencedory así hasta la final. Las vías son las mismas durantetoda la competición, no hay tiempos muertos paramodificarlas; el cansancio acumulado equilibra la ventajaque supone conocer la vía.

Clasifican para las final del sábado los seis mejoresescaladores y escaladoras. Además, la organizaciónse reserva dos ‘wild cards’ para completar laparticipación de ocho escaladores y escaladoras enel ‘Climb & Go’ del sábado.

Campeonato de Euskadi:

Dur&Go albergará el Campeonato de Euskadi deEscalada Deportiva, organizado por la FederaciónVasca de Montaña. Se disputará en todas susmodalidades, infantil, juvenil y senior tanto en chicoscomo en chicas.

Climbing master: Climb&Go

Prueba estrella de programa con los deportistasclasificados en la prueba del viernes. Es una pruebaindividual en la que los escaladores no conocen la vía yla dificultad es máxima. El vencedor es el que más altollegue; no se cronometra, aunque si se da un tiempomáximo para cada intento. En caso de empate se pasaa una Super Final. Se modifica la vía y los deportistasempatados compiten de nuevo. En caso de empate enesta final (prácticamente imposible) el premio se comparteentre los dos vencedores. Competición y espectáculogarantizado a cargo de los mejores escaladores yescaladoras del mundo.

Rock Master qualifying: Climb&Go

Competition in duels between the guest sportsmenand sportswomen and the Spanish elite climbers inthe Climbing Wall. This competition will decide themembers of the Difficulty Master. Two climbers, inparallel tracks, climb simultaneously under the pressureof the chronometer. The winner is the one who investsless time to climb both tracks. This way of climbing isnot very difficult in terms of the track in comparisonwith the typical way, so the possibilities to achieve theaim by all the sportsmen and sportswomen are veryhigh. It is a very spectacular format and it attracts theaudience. The winner is classified in each duel and itis in such way until the end of the competitions. Thetracks are the same during the whole competition andthere is not any time out to change them. Theaccumulated tiredness balances the advantage ofknowing the track. The best climbers are classified forthe final which will take place on Saturday. Moreover,the Organization will have two “wild cards” to completethe participation of eight climbers in “Climb&Go” onSaturday.

Euskadi Championship.

Dur&Go will house the Sports Climbing Championshipin Euskadi, organized by the Basque MountainFederation. The events will be for children, young andadult people and for boys and girls.

Climbing Master: Climb & Go.

This is the major event in the schedule where theclassified sportsmen and sportswomen of Friday takepart. It is an individual competition where the climbersdo not know the track and the difficulty is extreme.The winner is the one who reaches the highest pointand there is a limit time for each attempt. In case oftie, a Super Final is performed. The track is modifiedand the sportsmen or sportswomen compete again.In case of tie in this final (practically impossible) theprize will be shared by both winners. The competitionand the show are guaranteed with the best climbersin the world.

Eskalada herri maratoia, Atxarteko eskalada eskolanantolatzea oso proposamen animotsua izango da arkaitzeskalatzaile guztientzat, Euskalherriko eskalada tokimitikoa bait da. Atxarteko hormetan hasi ziren eskalatzeneuskal eskalatzaile ospetsuenak. Txapelketa kordadakaegingo da. Kordada bakoitza, proposatutako bideaktxapelketa iraungo duen bi egunetan egiten saiatukoda. Bide bakoitzari puntu kopuru jakin batzuk emangozaizkio, zailtasuna, luzeera, hurbilbidea, eta abar kontutanharturik, irabazlea puntu gehien lortzen duen kordadaizango da.

Atxarte Free

Organizar un maratón popular en la escuela deescalada de Atxarte es una propuesta que animaráa todos lo ‘rokeros’ por realizarse en uno de los lugaresmíticos de la escalada de Euskal Herria y donde handado sus primeros pasos todas las leyendas delmontañismo vasco. La competición consistirábásicamente en realizar las vías propuestas, porcordadas, que los escaladores consideren másoportunas durante las dos jornadas de competición.Cada vía, en función de su dificultad, tiene unapuntuación diferente por lo que gana la pareja quemás puntos acumule.

Arranging a popular marathon in the Climbing Schoolin Atxarte is a proposal which will encourage theclimbers to practise climbing in mythical sites in theBasque Country. This competition has been the firststep of the best Basque climbers. The competition willconsist of doing the proposed tracks with the help ofropes. Each track, depending on the difficulty, has adifferent scoring and the couple with more point willbecome winner.
