XX IV Travesía a Nado El Río08.10 Lanzarote - La Graciosa

La travesía se desarrolla, entre las islas de Lanzarote y La Graciosa. Toda la actividad se concentra en el muelle de Caleta de Sebo, en donde tiene lugar el desfile, calentamiento colectivo y el acceso a los barcos de la organización para trasladar conjuntamente a todos los nadadores participantes hasta la línea de salida, situada en la playa “Bajo El Risco” en Lanzarote.La Travesía a nado entre las islas de Lanzarote y La Graciosa tiene lugar anualmente en la Reserva Marina de mayor superficie de España, denominada “El Río”; está considerada como una de las más populares en las Islas Canarias. Año tras año, crece tanto en participación como en expectación. This annual swim across the El Río takes place on the stretch of water separating La Graciosa from Lanzarote. Participants warm up at the dock in Caleta de Sebo where they are transferred to the starting line in Bajo El Risco beach, in Lanzarote. El Río is considered as the biggest Marine Reserve in Spain and one of the most popular in the Canary Islands. Make sure you have your place in the event as is seeing an increase in popularity and attendance year after year.

Atlantic Gate Rally is a sailing boat regatta which goes from Ibiza to Lanzarote with 3 stopovers. The last leg from Sotogrande to Marina Rubicon is the most important stage and runs more than 600 nm. An in-port race will take place in Marina Rubicon.

La travesía comienza desde Playa Blanca, situada en el sur de Lanzarote, hacia Corralejo, en el norte de Fuerteventura. La distancia entre ambas islas es de 15 Km y durante el recorrido los nadadores deben bordear la deshabitada isla de Lobos.

This swimming cross goes from Playa Blanca, situated in the South of Lanzarote, to Corralejo, in the North of Fuerteventura. The distance between both islands is 15 kms. During this competition, that is done by teams, the participants will swim around the uninhabited island of Lobos.

Con una temperatura media de 19ºC el Lanzarote International Marathon transcurre en Diciembre a lo largo de una avenida costera en la isla de Lanzarote, abarcando las localidades de Costa Teguise, Arrecife, San Bartolomé y Puerto del Carmen. Cuenta con cuatro distancias y seis modalidades, premiando cada una de las diferentes categorías por edad y género.La zona de meta cuenta con todo lo necesario para el antes y el después de la carrera. Además, es el punto de encuentro desde el que salen los transportes para los atletas que participan en las modalidades con salida en Puerto del Carmen o Arrecife. With an average temperature of 19ºC the Lanzarote International Marathon takes place in December along a coastal strip on the island of Lanzarote, covering the towns of Costa Teguise, Arrecife, San Bartolomé and Puerto del Carmen.
