Durante este mes de Julio, estaremos enseñando sobre nuestras 16 Doctrinas Fundamentales. Aquí inserto el comentario del panfleto que las explica cada una de ellas (pp. 2 y 3). “El cambio es común en toda vida humana. Hoy no somos lo que fuimos ayer; y no seremos mañana lo que somos hoy. Como nuestro mundo, gran parte de lo que somos, hacemos, y decimos es temporal. Sin embargo, hay pocas cosas en la vida que nunca cambian- ni deberían cambiar. Tal es el caso de Dios. A deferencia de la condición humana, Dios nunca cambia (Malaquías 3:6). Él es el mismo ayer, hoy, y por los siglos. Y como Él, su verdad es también eterna. Ella permanece como la única constante en nuestro dinámico mundo de cambiantes valores culturales. Estas verdades de Dios son su Palabra.

During this month of July, we will be teaching about our 16 Fundamental Doctrines. I have inserted commentary from a pamphlet that explains each one (pg. 2, 3). “Change is common to all human life. We are not today what we were yesterday; we will not be tomorrow what we are today. Like our world, much of what we are, do, and say, is temporal. However, there are a few things in life that never change- nor should they. Such is God. Unlike the human condition, God never changes (Malachi 3:6). He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And like Him- His truth is also everlasting. It remains the single constant in our ever-dynamic world of shifting cultural values. These truths of God are His word. They are recorded in the Bible and are foundational to life.

We believe the Bible is complete and adequate in itself to serve as the guide for our beliefs and way of living. The Statement of Fundamental Truths is the common basis for our unity, or as the Bible recommends, that we may agree with one another so as to avoid divisions because with one another so as to avoid divisions because of disagreements on what we believe (1 Corinthians 1:10; Acts 2:42). There is no claim that the wording of this statement is divinely inspired as the Bible is, but the truth it sets forth is felt to be essential to a full-gospel, Bible-based ministry. Este año estaremos leyendo diferentes libros de la Biblia. El propósito es que lo hagamos en forma personal, con nuestro cónyuge y también con nuestros hijos.

En Julio estaremos leyendo el libro de

Romanos.

Leeremos un capitulo diario, descansando un día a la semana. Usted escoge el día y el capitulo que va a leer. El día que vamos a tener el examen será el Domingo 30 de Julio a las 10:45 am. Los matrimonios competirán entre ellos mismos. Las personas solteras competirán entre ellos mismos. El examen se va a tomar individualmente, aun entre los matrimonios, ambos tendrán que obtener la mejor calificación para ganar. El ganador en ambos grupos será, el que obtenga la mayor calificación del examen. Y se le dará un premio. Para los que obtengan 60% o más, su nombre será sorteado; quien salga premiado, tanto por pareja como individual, se le llevará a comer el domingo 30 de Julio.

Tomemos juntos esta jornada a través de la Biblia, para amar, crecer y servir mejor al Señor como familia.

This year, we will be reading different Books of the Bible. The purpose is to read on our personal time, with our spouses and with our children.

In July we will be reading the Book of

Romans.

We will read a chapter a day, resting one day a week. You pick the day and the chapter you want to read. The test date will be Sunday July 30th at 10:45 am. Matrimonies will compete among themselves., and single people compete among themselves. The test is to be taken individually, even between married couples, both will have to get the best score to win. The winner in both groups, which is who obtains the highest test score, will win a prize. For those who earn a 60% or higher, their name will be raffled, one for the married couples and another for the single people. The reward will be a paid lunch on Sunday July 30th.

Let’s take this journey together through the Scriptures, to love, to grow and better serve the Lord as a family.
