¡Hola! Me llamo Sra. Huff y yo soy tu maestra de español este año. Bienvenidos a mi clase. Yo quiero una clase divertida pero también que Uds. aprenden el español. Nosotros tenemos cinco temas o tópicos de español en mis clases: personas, historia, geografía, lengua y cultura. Ahora . . . Vamos a empezar!

Class Conduct• Respect for Speakers

– When someone else (including Mrs. Huff) is talking, please be respectful by being quiet

• Respect for Learning– Participate in the class

activities that are designed to help you learn and do not distract others from learning

• Respect for Materials– Be careful and

mindful when borrowing or using any of the materials in the classroom (whether they are Mrs. Huff’s or a classmate’s)

Grading Policies

• Point System– Grades will be based

on overall points• Extra Credit

– Extra credit opportunities are available and listed on the Classroom Website under “Extra Credit”

• Missing Work– Students are 100%

respondsible for making up and missed quizzes or assignments within 5 days of an absence. After 5 days, the student will receive a zero.

Quarterly Assignments• Each quarter students will have to

complete two assignments:– Current Events

• Students research and write about a current event (please see details on the Classroom Website)

– Blog Submission• Students must submit a story or posting to

our classroom blog. There are many suggestions and detailed instructions on the Classroom Website)
