LA REVISTA que tienes en tus manos

es muy especial; con ella celebramos

nuestro sexto año de publicación, e ini-

ciamos una nueva temporada en la que

habremos de alcanzar niveles superiores

en la preferencia de nuestros lectores.

Nuestras páginas llegan satinadas para

recibir la edición especial de “Una Pas-

arela para Mamá”, un evento con el que

Tiempo Social Magazine rindió un mer-

ecido tributo de gratitud a las madres

latinas, y que aportó recursos para que

la Coalición Contra la Violencia Domésti-

ca de Rhode Island y sus seis agencias

miembros, continúen proporcionando

su valioso apoyo a familias afectadas

por la violencia.

Una Pasarela para Mamá permitió que

25 sobresalientes damas del qué hacer

profesional y social del Estado, pudieran

contagiar a los asistentes con sus par-

ticulares estilos, gracia y elegancia en

una pasarela original y diferente. Ellas

demostraron que una mujer es tan

especial, que puede ser madre ejemplar,

profesional, exitosa y ganar elogios y

admiración en una pasarela cuando así

se lo proponga; ya que en esta vida los

retos se vencen con actitud, determi-

nación y disciplina.

is very special; with it we celebrate our

sixth year of publication, and begin a

new season that will enable us to reach

higher levels in the preferences of our

readership.

For the �rst time our pages are printed in

a glossy coating for this special edition

issue of "A Runway for Mom", an event in

which Tiempo Social Magazine paid a

long overdue tribute to Latino mothers,

and provided funding for the Rhode Island

Coalition Against Domestic Violence and

its six member agencies, who continue

to provide valuable support to families

a�ected by violence.

A Runway for Mom enabled 25 outstand-

ing women from the profesional and social

enviornment of the state, who infected the

audience with their unique style, grace

and elegance in an original and di�er-

ent fashion runway. They showed that a

women are so special that they can be

exemplary mothers, professionals, suc-

cessful and win praise and admiration on

the runway if they so wish to carry out,

because in this life, the challenges are

overcome due to attitudes, determination

and discipline.
