The BA OrganizatiOnal Conununication program aims toprovide a holistic perspective of organizational dynamics inthe modern century by focusing on organization-relatedconununication skills.Because communication is a complex process in itself and avital factor inshaping human ecologies, the importance ofstrengthening efficiency and effectiveness inconununicationcannot be overemphasized, especially inorganizationstructures where needs are highly technical, Thus, the entireprogram concentrates on an integration of written-oral skillsand not just the mastery of either oral delivery or writtenteclmique as separate abilities.

TESTIMONIALSI've always enjoyed teaching OrCom students. In the classroom, they areenthusiastic and creative in sharing ideas and experiences, which createsa lively classroom atmosphere. Outside of it, they are eager to buildrelationships, not just with other students but with their teachers as well. These communication and relational abilities are whatdistinguishes them while they are in school and gives them an edgein the world beyond it.
Mishima MicianoProfessor, Department of Arts and Communication, UP Manila
I'm so grateful I took Dreom. The course developed not only mycommunication skills, but also my people management and strategicthinking skills. OrCom taught me to see myself as a business personinvolved in communication, not a communicationsperson involved in business --such a perspective allows you torise above being a teclmical worker (write well, speak well, present well)and become one of your organization's competitive advantages(communicate strategically, idea generator, counsel to management, among others). When you have this combination of skills, mindset, andpositive attitude, what job can you not do well?

TESTIMONIALSSome people say that OrCom graduates are 'jacks of all trades'but they are 'masters of none'. I beg to disagree. OrganizationalCommunication offers students various subjects such as publicrelations, corporate communication, management, advertising, marketing, etc. It may be difficult to digest the complexity of eachsubject but compressing these fields in one course gives studentsthe opportunity to explore where they are good at and wherethey can develop their skills after college. I am a proud product ofthe progratn. I can say that we can be masters of our chosen 0careers because our teachers in OrCom taught us well. There maybe endless career opportunities in OrCom but OrCom willnever fail to lead you to the right path. Anna Aclan

My OrCom life so far has been all about growth. Growing has itspains and its hardships. But I've also had great experiences withmy OrCom peers, been exposed to amazing mentors through myprofessors, and seen a glimpse ofwhat I can be if I give it my best. With OrCom, the only way to go is up.
Marlo Carrasco3rd yearSo far, OrCom has given me exactly what I wanted AND needed.
I see it as an umbrella course that encompasses a lot ofdisciplines, thus presenting its students with a variety of jobopportunities. What I like most about it is that you'll never feelboxed out. Everything I learn can be used in any aspect of life.
